To Øl LikeWeisse

We felt like doing a beer that you could drink all day long, that would have just a bit of sourness and boatload of hops. If you ever felt likeweisse. Then this berliner weisse is just the thing.

3.0 Bottle. Color yellow with medium white head. Aroma sweet, sour, spicy. Flavor some sour, lemon, spicy.
3.4 (Bottle) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with white bread, passion-fruit, lemon, hay and flowers. Fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of lemon, passion-fruit, hay, bread and a dry finish with a light tartness and a low bitterness. Light body, dry. Well balanced, tasty and refreshing, with a gentle sourness. Nice one
3.3 330 ml bottle. Pours with a cloudy, bright golden color and a small white head. The nose is sour-fruity: lemon, grapefruit-peel, some peaches and pineapple with aroma of wine-vinegar. nice citrus-sour taste, acidic notes, yeast. Started good.
3.5 Light peppery aroma, some spices, citrus, lime little bit sourness. Hazy to cloudy golden color with small white head. Taste is medium sour, very refreshing, malty, cheesy, lemony sour and yeasty, moderate sour finish. Light bodies, sparkly carbonation, smooth.
2.1 330 ml bottle from Theatre of Wine. Pours cloudy orange with a white head, lacing present. Decent aroma, a bit acidic, lemon, some nuts and malts. Taste is not for me, sour, soapy, with lemon-like acidity. Oily texture, not pleasant. My first Berliner Weisse and could be the last as far as I’m concerned. Not for me.
3.8 330 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, strawberry, white wine, hay, herbal, grass, light pepper, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and light pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange zest, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, strawberry, white wine, hay, herbal, grass, light pepper, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Light lactic tartness and grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange zest, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, strawberry, white wine, hay, herbal, grass, pepper, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and light pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitterness balance; and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from tart/bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and very light body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly grainy/sticky/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is a very nice hoppy Berliner weisse. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and light pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mild acidity. Not as lactic as I was hoping for the style, even if it was the brewers intent. This is still very flavorful and complex for the really low ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
3.1 Bottle 0,33L. Hazy golden color with small, frothy, white head. Aroma is fruity, mostly citruses like orange, tangerine and lime. Taste starts soft sour and lemony, but the sourness slowly lay down to the back of the tongue. Very light, watery, semi-crispy and refreshing. Easy drinking summer beer.
3.5 6. 4. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Very fruity aroma which is followed by a bit soury lightbodied mouthfeel. Taste is not sour at all projecting into wheatish feel with mixed aftertaste between sweet and sour. Interesting.
3.9 330ml bottle. Hazy pale golden colour with a small frothy white head. Sour tart citrusy fruity aroma, follows through to the taste exactly, lemon and orange, light yeast. I’m not a big fan of sour beers so for me this is the perfect amount of sourness, nice and tart but not face-destroying, lively carbonation, light body. Very drinkable, refreshing summery beer.
3.1 -pours a hazy golden with a big, frothy, white head -high carbonation visible S: -grassy,citrus,earthy,leather,pomelo,nettle,green apple, apricot T: -orange,citrus,grassy,metallic,slightly grainy -light sourness F: -medium carbonation -light,watery body O: Really pleasant smell. Taste is way too metallic for me.At times like licking on a copperpipe.
3.7 To Øl crafts some of the classiest beers around, and LikeWeisse is as lovely and refined as anything they’ve done. Light yellow coloring. Foamy head. Citrusy, tart, and mildly tropical. The feel is spritzy with carbonation but it’s very light and smooth for a sour beer - it doesn’t punch the sides of your mouth with acid like some modern Berliners. I feel like even an uninitiated sour/wild beer drinker could love this.
4.0 Bottle. A- Peaches, apricot, fruity, sweet. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Gummy bears, peaches, slightly dry. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, juicy finish. O- Really tasty. Lots of candy like fruits and not too sour or tart, Very refreshing.
3.7 bottled. Medium gold, hazy, with a tall head. Nice hoppy nose, tropical fruit, a bit lactic. Tart, lemony flavor, some yogurt, herbal, light tartness. Good stuff, with soft, light carbonation.
3.8 0.33l bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is lemon, wheat, citruses, spices, some herbs and tart notes. Taste is tart with some sweetness and light citrusy flavor.Dry finish. Overall it’s very good beer with nice complexity.
(Rating #7267)
3.6 Bottle 330 ml. Slightly blurred straw-golden color, thin and white foam. Aroma: fruity hops, citrus and sour milk. Taste: fruity, tropical fruits, citrus, whey, easy. Drinkable and pleasant.
2.8 Bottle at home. Pours hazy golden with big white head. Aroma of passion fruit, lemon, sulphur, light bread. Taste medium sour with bready finish. Thin bodied, high carbonation.
3.9 The bottle pours a golden color liquid with a white head, it’s spritzy! Aromas of bread, lactobacillus, lemon, citrus zest, grass. In the mouth, smooth and bubbly feeling on the tongue, super refreshing. I can taste, citrus, a light to medium sourness, bready finish and bitter as well, one of the best Berliner I’ve tasted, very well done and balanced!
3.2 from Erzbierschof - hazy blond beer with a solid and bright white foam left; apparent wheat in the nose; hints of straw and yeast; very carbonated, thin-bodied, sweet/acidic; long fizzy citrusy and wheaty finish
3.6 Average frothy creamy (in a 2nd moment) white head. Good lacing. Mostly diminishing. Cloudy thick yellow body. Aroma: moderate hoppy, grape. Initial flavor: light sweet moderate acidic. Final flavor: moderate acidic light bitter; average duration. Palate: medium body, dry texture, lively carbonation, moderate astringent finish. Smells lactic; moderate sour character (aroma); fruity character (tart apple). 70 s
3.3 Bottle at home. Hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma light malty, medium sour and hoppy. Flavor light sweet, medium fruity and bitter. Light body, lively.

3.6 Straw yellow, cloudy, good white foam. Smells of fruity hops, lactic sourness. Light body. Dry taste. Light sour, tart, hoppy. Light bitterness. Quite good as a variation on the style.
3.3 Bottle @cgarvieuk. Speedway tasting (Dec 2015) [Rating Backlog] Pours yellow, slight white head. Nose is grapefruit, lemon, nose is very slight you have to go looking for it. Taste is lemon, lime, grapefruit, slightly sweet finish.
3.2 Bottle from BrewDog online store, drunk at home. Light to mid-yellow, hazy with a little cloud of loose-ish white head on top. Lemons, light funk and a metallic hint to the aroma. Taste is a light funky sour with gentle citrus sweetness around the edges. Short to medium dry finish. Kumquat peel and filmjölk in the aftertaste. I have to say that while this was certainly decent, I wasn’t blown away by it. Complex, but muted.
2.3 Light golden appearance with some head. Tastes of citrus, peach and banana. Light body, low carbonation and a finish of harsh bitterness. Sour and something
3.7 robe blonde, mousse peu abondante. Nez acidulé sur des notes de citron, de lime, sur des fines notes acidulés. Bouche tout en tension sur le fruit, l’acidité, et la minéralité. Une belle bière de soif
3.1 Bottle. Cloudy light yellow colour with small head off. Aroma of citrus fruits, yeasts. Taste is sourish, lemongrass, herbs. Refreshing summer beer.
3.6 Orange beer, small head. Aroma is fruit, Taste is sour, fruit. Long aftertaste, quite nice for a sour beer.
