To Øl Raid Beer

"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

4.0 330 ml can. Unclear orange, foamy head. Herbal hops, some pine, lemon, tangerine, grassy notes, some hay and metal. Fruity hoppy bitterness, some malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry hoppy finish. Excellent Lager.
3.9 Aromat intensywny, słodowo-ziołowy, dalej trochę grejpfrut i pomarańcze. W smaku zdecydowanie ziołowe, ale też cytrusy wyraźnie wyczuwalne, goryczka średnio-wysoka. Jeden z lepszych pilsów jakie piłem.
3.2 Aroma: Aroma very subtle, nowhere near enough American hops! Fruit dominated by herbal and malty notes, this beer is somewhere between traditional pilsner and its American variant. Some yeasty esters as well, not great in lager. Appearance: Clear orange, huge white head. Very nice! Taste: Sweet, medium-to-low bitterness. I would cut down on sweetness. Palate: Medium body, quite smooth, average carbonation. Overall: Not a bad beer, but definitely not dry, clean and hoppy enough to be a proper American pilsner.
4.0/5.0 i POLECAM!
3.8 Puszka do 21.05.20. Aromat grejfrut, kwiatki, troszke cukierkow owocowych, winogrona, melon i niestety troche siarki w typie zgnitego jajka. W smaku gladziutkie puszyste, srednia krotka goryczka. Bardzo dobre jedynie ta siarka troche psuje.
3.7 Tall white head and clear yeallow body. Aroma of citrus and malt. Malty and crisp with a nice hoppy finish.
4.3 Clear orange appearance with a lasting head. Hoppy smell of grapefruit and candy. Agreeable bitterness, an excellent thirst quencher. A beer like I like em.
3.6 Can from beerhawk. Clear golden appearance. Aroma is citrus and hops. Flavour is hoppy, dry, bitter, citrus and malty.
3.5 Quite bitter this one. Also malty and somewhat hoppy with slightly sticky mouthfeel and sharp carbonation.
3.7 Copenhagen 13/4 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. White label with green, black and brown dots. Very dotty in some very tasteful and quite boring colors. Pours hazy, golden yellow with small, white head. Settles as thin and patchy layer of foam. Substantial lacing. Aroma is quite intense, fermented fruit. Peach and mango. Alcohol. Some citrus fruit peeking in. Green apples, grape fruit and lemon. Light carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium sweet. Followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with an undercurrent of sweetness. Lingers shortly. Easy to drink lager with a lot of aroma and flavor. Solid.
3.6 To Øl 3X Raid Beer NEIPL 5.9% This lager version of a NEIPA is cloudy light gold with an aroma that gives me guava, passion fruit and papaya at first. The aroma then mellows into a more generic tropical fruit with some tangy citrus. The taste is much more bitter than I expected with pithy citrus and some dankness. I blame the lack of juiciness on the fact I held on to this can too long. Still tasty but not so juicy, a good IPL - Hoppy and dry.
4.6 Spettacolare lager. Gustosa.
3.2 Door no. 13 Fresh and citrus-ish aroma. Taste is very hoppy. I might have called it a pale ale, had I not read the label. Very fresh.
3.6 Lata. De Degustasur. 13 meses traa consumo preferente. En copa Teku. Jugando a Avernum 6.
3.5 From can (just under a year old) in footed pilsner. Pours murky sunset orange w/big rocky tan head and fruity hop aroma. Still tastes pretty good after a long journey, zesty with some citrus peel bitterness in the finish. Worth another look
3.2 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a fluffy white head, the aroma is hoppy with plenty of fruit especially orange, the taste is medium bitterness and with a dry bitter finish.
1.9 aroma was dead when i drank it. shame, would love to try it fresh. never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down...
Note erbacee, leggera e beverina. Retrogusto lungo e piacevole.
3.8 Very refreshing beer. Clear golden color with white head. Hoppy aroma. Also hoppy and citrus taste with dry finish.
3.6 0,33 l bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a couple of fingers of medium lasting dense just off white head. Aroma of pollen from pilsner malt, some bread and plenty of freshly cut grapefruit, tangerine, slightly grassy. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture slick and carbonation average to lively. Finish is long, starts malty and finishes as a bitter grapefruit. Very nice.
3.5 Draught @ KCBD18. Pours nearly cler amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with fruity and hoppy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish hints of malt and fruit and notes of yeast. Hoppy and estery aftertaste. Decent.
3.3 Draught at KCBD18. Bready aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Very big stable creamy white head. The flavour is bready and slightly hoppy with a faint light caramelly note and a good hop bite.
3.2 Can. Colour is amber and bit hazy. Has hoppy, fruity aroma. Taste is hoppy, fruity and bit bitter. Nice one.
