English: The day after your tour de force in the world of alcohol, where good manners has been thrown over the shoulder, the liver has been punished and the dance floor hasn’t looked better since John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, ones physical and mental state needs to get in gear for another week of tedious paperwork. You need something to cleance your tastebuds from the taste of the cheap slave tequila. You need something to recover you safely and give you a renewed love and zest for life. In simple terms, you need a really good recovery beer (in danish "Reparationsbajer").

The problem is that there are few perfect recovery beers! Nauseous mass produced lagers are the last thing you want to think about after you have been making a few calls in the great white telephone. This is why To Øl for a long time has had the goal to develop a recipe for the perfect recovery beer. This has resulted in a lot of tough empirical field work combined with a great amount of brewing. After a years of hard work all results have been gathered and the conclusion is clear: The best way to remove your hang overs is with a potent Pale Ale with powerful and aromatic American and New Zealand hops to give your tastebuds a cold turkey combined with a nice round, pleasant and well-balanced malt profile to massage the palate and reinforce the belief that one shall survive another day!
And that’s why we present for you To Øl Reparationsbajer.

3.2 330ml can into pint glass. Beautiful monochrome can design. Muted fruity aroma, a little grass maybe. Cloudy burnt orange appearance with bubbly sticky white head. Full body with a touch of effervescence. Mildly bitter with an lingering oily texture. Mildly grassy and earthy to finish. Very nice, only the Danes would make a 'repair' beer that is 5.8%!
3.8 Couleur orange; mousse blanche; arômes et goût maltés, fruités et de résine; bière légèrement douce avec finale bien amère
2.9 Can. Muggy minerally, berries, light cheesy, some spice. Milky amber, creamy offwhite head. Medium light dry grassy, minerally grainy, dusty, old cheesy hops, eh.
4.0 33cl-blik in Kaffee Bazaar te Ieper. U: Wazig oranje met een witte schuimkraag. G: Roze pompelmoes, mango, mandarijn en sinaasappel. S: Tropisch fruitig met een stevige citrusbitter. Strak. M: Doordrinker met medium carbonatie.

3.7 330 ml can at Il Bierifficio Camberwell Vic. Pours cloudy amber with small white head that dissipates. Aroma is pleasant fruity hops with some malt sweetness. Flavour is citrus, pine and stone fruit. Taste is strongly bitter with reasonable sweetness balance. Palate is thick and full for a gluten free beer. Moderate bitterness on the back palate. Overall a very decent IPA from Denmark.
3.5 0,33l bottle from Alko. Pours deep golden/brown color with some head. Flavor of malts, citrus, orange, pine and some caramel. Medium body and bitterness, maybe on the higher bitterness side for an APA.
3.6 Slightly hazy orange pour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, caramel, some honey, orange zest, hoppy fruits. Softly sweet and medium to over medium bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Tsty!!!
1.9 5. 11. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Aroma is subdued. Taste is a bit salty, not much of a malt backobne here and a kick of hops in the end. Not very likable for me. It hardly deserves this grade. Lightbodied, light carb. Not good.
3.8 Aroma: fruity citrus and dusty hops. Flavour: Dry fruity hops with grape and other citrus. Aftertaste is bitter dry. Colour: orange with an offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Salling Aarhus Oct. 2017
2.0 Dry on the roof of the mouth and back of the throat alcoholic taste and aftertaste no real flavors
3.7 33cl bottle. Pours clear amber with light brown head. Aroma is fresh and floral. Taste is very smooth and balanced with nice floral hoppy notes. Maybe even too smooth. Still very nice!
3.0 Clear orange with a medium head. Fruity, lemon and grapfreuity aroma. Taste of grass, malt, grape and lemon zest.
2.7 Im Kaschk frisch vom Hahn getrunken. Dunkelgold mit weißer Schaumdecke im Glas. Für ein Pale Ale etwas zu bitter.
3.6 0,33l bottle. Pours amber with big white head. Citrus, pine... long bitter aftertaste. Quality apa.
3.3 15-05-17 // selfpoured at Easy Beer, Riga. Hazy orange beer, small white head. Mild hoppy nose. Light bodied, light sweet malts, minimal caramel, mild fruity hops, light citrus, light floral.
3.1 Drinked in a 6 month old bottle. At the nose warm notes of caramel, stewed prunes and golden syrup. In mouth is medium bodied, quite bitter and alcoholic. Seems stronger than how really is. Doesn’t seems an American Pale Ale, probably is my bottle.
3.0 aroma: neutral, at the beginning a bit of caramel appearance: beautiful color of caramel, beautiful foam taste: neutral, hoppy, at the beginning u can taste caramel and a bit of sweetness From the appearance i was waiting for more.
4.1 17/I/17 - 33cl bottle hop seminar the "after"-tasting @ De Proefbrouwerij (Lochristi) - BB: n/a (2017-55) Thanks to Dirk and Dirk for the seminar! Clear orange beer, creamy yellow head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, citrus, bit malty, caramel, tropical fruits, grapefruit. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, citrus, grapefruit, malty, some caramel. Aftertaste: citrus, grapefruit, bit grassy, nice bitterness.
2.6 A gusher. Murky and dark brass colour. Ugly, soapy head. Aroma is wet cardboard, toffee, and mothballs. At least the taste is reasonable: lively citrus with lots of berries and tropical fruit. Lively carbonation.
3.5 Bottle - odd beer. Ugly murky dull orange pour. Smells of caramel and some cardboard. Tastes great - clean bright citrus with a sharp bite and clean finish.
4.4 Caramel in the nose, sweet yet citrus notes in the taste, like a toffee grapefruit. Balanced hoppy finish. Delightful and very moreish
3.7 Aroma is fruit, caramel malts, light citrus and mild/medium sweetness. The flavor is fruit/berries, citrus, light tropical fruit, malts/caramel malts and a mix of mild bitterness and tart in the finish.
3.5 Amber beer. Supposed to revive your senses. Was no need for, but with this thought in mind ... one could think it’s true. Bitter sweet, full palate and mouthfeel. Lasting bitter aftertaste. Very enjoyable.
Smak: najpierw uderzenie słodyczy, cytrusów i owoców. Następnie można wyczuć solidną goryczkę, aczkolwiek przyjemną, niepiekącą i niezalegającą za długo. Dobrze zbalansowane i ułożone. Bardzo mi się podoba.
3.8 Dark orange with a light tan head. Citrus hops, pine resin, salt, malt sugars. Bitter, hearthy and super drinkable.
3.4 33cl bottle from cerveteca Lisboa, Portugal. Color is orange to brown. Head is medium and white. Light to medium sweetness. Light bitterness. Aroma is orange, hop, resin, spices. Expected more.
