3.4 Fin lys orange.
Dry hopped over and over
4.2 Bottle shared at home. Hazy orange colour, stiff white head, with low retention. Nose is low sourness, pineapple. Taste is low sourness, low bitterness. Lingering sour, faint btter aftertaste, definitive pineapple. Lovely.
3.4 Bottle from drinkshop.sk. Best before date 07.09.18. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is mostly hops, citrus fruits, oranges, tangerines, some citric and bacterial sourness. Taste is sour, some citrus fruits orange, zesty, resiny. Moderate bitterness. Sour/Bitter aftertaste. The beer a bit lacks complexity and is not so hoppy fresh as I expected. Overall good, but I expected a bit more.
3.7 Bottle from Pivoljub. Aroma: moderately hoppy, citruses, fruity, some acidity. Pale to orange, with white head. ok retention. Taste: sweetness and acidity are well balanced, body is light to medium, soft to med carbonation. Overall: Pleasant, well balanced, drinkable.
3.6 Funky yeast, some skunk, orange peel, and light grains. Sour citrus and yeast.
3.3 On tap at Bierlokaal De Uiver, small sample. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of light sourness, tart, Brett, citrus, dank. Flavour is bone dry, Brett, light funky, salty, citrus, lemon, tart-bitter dry finish. Light bodied.
0.5 This beer tastes like you have gone to the skaniest student house imaginable, and eaten everything off the floor (including the encrusted vomit and cat poo), regurgitated it, mixed it with vitamin pills (berocca) and then drink it again.
3.3 Hazy orange color with a small white head. Smell is pine, hoppy. Tastes sour, hoppy, pine, bitter, fresh.
3.5 Can @home. golden slight haze, white head. Nose is malty, floral, lemon, citrus fruits. Taste is tart fruits, slightly sour, citrus fruits.
3.6 Can from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy orange amber colour lasting cream head. i really liked this range but this seems the sourest of the lot. Sour lemon and tangerine aroma and flavour. Just a bit too sour to be enjoyable.
3.4 Bottle. Pours an almost clear golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma has hints of amarillo hops, some tarty fruity notes and quite grainy as well. Flavor is a bittertart. A nice, fruity bitterness from the amarillo and a stringent tartness from a lactobasilicus or something. A bit strange and unbalanced, because the nice fruity amarillo hints are set aside by a strong sour hint. Carbonation is nice, aftertaste long and fairly tart. Decent.
3.7 330ml bottle. Hazy orange golden with a nice white head. Citrus, caramel and yeasty. Good!
3.3 appearance: clouded orange gold, white head. aroma: peach, mango, apricot is prominent, lacto sourness, candied orange peel. taste: sweet and sour, with lemon, some white white notes, grass, and grapefruit. finish: lingering tartness, not too sour, some sweet marmalade; full palate. notes: Part of a sampling of four of these Surs with Zoltan and Derek. This was a little underwhelming. Tallboy from House of Brews in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina.
3.9 Sample at the ’Smoked Meats and Beer’ tasting on 05/27/2017. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Vinous and citrusy aroma with some malt notes. Medium body with flavors of tart fruit, yeast, grassy hops and malt. The finish is moderately tart with a lemony aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
3.6 33cl bottle. Hazy orange pour with a thin beige head. Notes of oats, wheat, fruity and flowery hops, kettle soured beer, light brett biterness. Medium body, medium sweet, light sour and medium bitter. Smooth texture, medium carbonation. Overall, a bit more robust and sweet than what I expected.
4.2 500 mL can at HopCat. Poured hazy orange with thin white head. Orange, peach, lemon, grass with tart, dry finish. Great beer.
3.7 330ml bottle. Pours hazy orange. Peach, lemon juice, apricot. Sweet fruit and tart citrus. Good.
3.6 Appearance: hazy pale amber with one fat finger of fluffy ivory head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: caramel, pineapple, stone fruit, citrus. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, moderate tart. (8/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry bitter and puckering tart gently warming finish. (4/5) I suspect this might be a touch on the elderly side, although I’m almost two months short of the BB date (no idea when it was born, though). The description says this was heavily dry-hopped with Amarillo, but I can’t say I’m getting a lot of that. If anything, the nose is dominated roughly equally by a caramel, almost toffee-like malt, and pineapple-y tropical fruit. There is some citrus, but it’s a long way back, behind some stone fruit. All in all, I’m a bit disappointed by the aroma, but otherwise find it to be a pleasant, puckeringly tart Wild that finishes off-dry and invites the next sip. The moderate ABV is nearly completely absent on the front end, manifesting only as a mild warming. Quite nice, and probably worth trying again fresh.
0.5 5. 4. 2017, Ico's place, Ljubljana. Bottled. Wooohaaa! A very, very sour taste that is overwhelming everyting else. Just not my cup of beer style.
3.7 ASPETTO: ambrato molto chiaro e molto torbido. Schiuma bianca e perfetta.
4.1 Aroma of citrus fruits (mostly grapefruit and lime) Lightly sour, with low-medium sweetness and medium grapefruitey bitterness. Perfectly balanced. I could drink this everyday
4.0 Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: White head. Hazy orange body. Nose of nettle, hops, some herbal and berry tints, light funk, little vinous tint... Flavour is tart and crispy. Herbal hops, some lemon, nettle, some floral hop tints, nice tart, berries and grapes, light vinous... good! Aftertaste is is light vinous, funky, hops and light grape tints... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, more than only medium bodied. Gets better and better...
4.1 Can. Pours golden, hazy with medium, white head. Fruity, orange, grass, lemon, wood, tea, alcohol note. Big bitterness balanced with sourness, great mouth feel, smooth, refreshing despite the alcohol.
