Creamy white head, pours black. Roasted maltiness, mainly coffee feeling. Drinkable regardless 7,3% ABV. High carbonation, caramel on nose.

Bottle - Pours a dark brown with red highlights. and a smallish, lasting head. Sweet malt aroma. Nice mouthfeel with good carbonation. Taste is semi-sweet with toasted malts and some chocolate. Nice finish.

Only thing that is good from Zagrebacka Pivovara. Nightly dark beer. Soft brown thick foam. Sweet, caramel and BBQ taste. Nice ABV and good price.

Mörk mahogny med tunt beige skum. Doftar lite bränd malt. Smaken fyllig, maltig och söt, lite kaffe och choklad. Eftersmaken hyggligt lång, söt med choklad och lite rostad malt, lite alkoholanstruken beska på slutet.
Bottle. Medium high creamy light brown head. Very dark red brown body. Sweet dried fruit aroma , mainly plums and prunes. Sweet roasted malt dried fruit flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish.
Bière très bonne en bouche. Conforme aux attentes d'une bière sombre, en bord de mer elle est tout particulièrement apprécié.
Dark black porter, smells of roasted and bbq things. Taste is sweet, nutty and slightly roasted and smokey overtones. Not bad!

Birra nera con schiuma colore avorio abbondante fine e persistente. Al naso lascia poco, quasi nulla. In bocca risulta alcolica e con sentori di caffè bruciato e tostatura

Extremely dark mahogany brown veering towards light black topped with a tan head that dissipates into something resembling a map of medieval Europe.
Nose is dried fruits, toffee, dark malts, treacle, brown sugar melt.
Taste comprises dark malts, fruit loaf, light spice, burnt sugar, raisins, dates.
Medium body with bite, fine carbonation, light kiss of warming alcohol at the curtain call.
Decent enough punchy Baltick for a macro if a touch on the sweet side.
Tamno crvene prema crnoj boji, debela smeđa pjena, trajnija. Arome blage zagorjelosti, alkohola, sušenog voća i kafe. Blage prema srednjoj gorčini, blago i slatko. Dug gorak finiš. Uljane teksture, srednje prema jakoj karbonizaciji.
Butelka. Nie jest to piwo intensywne ale poprawne, w stylu. Fajna chlebowa nutka. Wytrawne.
Grundsätzlich kenne ich 2 Arten von dunklen Bieren: Erstens die süßen und zweitens die herben Schwarzbieree und Stouts. Beide haben ihre Freunde und Daseinsberechtigung.
Das Tomislav ist aber irgendwie beides und gleichzeitig keines davon. Weder hat es ausgeprägte Malzaromen noch feine Röstaromen. Hopfen merkt man sowieso nicht.
Da es das Bier schon einige Jahre gibt (ob wirklich seit 1925, wage ich zu bezweifeln) hat es wohl Freunde, aber ich kenne keine. Leute aus Bosnien, Serbien und Kroatien haben mir von einem legendär schlechten Ruf des Biers erzählt. Jetzt weiß ich warum.

Dark brown color, medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, hint of coffee. Sweet lightly dry taste with mildly bitter finish. Thin to medium body and average carbonation. Nice dark beer, quite drinkable.
Dark brown pour with light brown, short lasting head. Strong aroma like burnt wood. Tastes also like burnt wood, roasted malt and caramel with medium bitter finish. Personally the best Croatian dark beer.
Dość słodki, lekki ciemny lager. Dominujące smaki to czekolada, karmel, kawa zbożowa i generalnie ciemny słód. Piwo jest lekkie w smaku, natomiast ponad 7 % alko czyni go bardzo zdradliwym bo nie czuć tego kompletnie. Niestety ze względu na idiotyczną zieloną butelkę czuć trochę skunksa. Goryczka niska palona, tylko w posmaku. Całkiem niezłe piwko.
Bottle@Dubrovnik, Croatia. Blackish brown coloured beer with a strong head. The aroma is malty with some mild roastedness and yeastiness. The flavour is more strongly malty with gentle roastedness and bitterness, and quite richly flavoured. Overall a nice malty dark beer.

Pours hazy dark brown with a lasting, small, frothy, beige head; little lacing. Intense aroma of burnt caramel, toast, licorice, candied prune, milk chocolate, hint of liqueur, tequila even (especially when warming up). Medium to heavy malty sweet onset, hints of licorice & caramel, already some sweet, sugary liqueur in the back. The middle is light roasted bitter with fondant & toast, some burnt caramel. Malty finish, lingering caramel, faintly herbal, warming 'shot' alcohol (liquor, tequila). Medium body, syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation. Quite a lot of flavour for a Lager, maybe a tad too alcoholic, but damn, this could be a nice guilty pleasure.

Surprisingly decent choice at our hotel bar. Very malty, going from cola caramel through brown bread crusts to dark toffee. Full mouthfeel, low carb.

Intensiv Dunkle Farbe, fast Schwarz, Sirupartiges Mundgefühl, im Geschmack etwas Bitter, leichte Süße, viel Malz und Rößtnoten, leichte Hopfennoten und eine leichte Säure, insgesamt Gut, Aber nicht einfach zu trinken.
