3.2Tap @Tommyknocker. Slightly hazy amber color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Looks nice. Malty, sweet, fruity, apricot in aroma. Fruity, sweet, orange marmalade in taste. Medium hoppy bitterness. Fruity aftertaste.
3.0Tap @ Tommyknocker, Helsinki. Thanks bluus. Pours orange. Aroma is citrusy, some caramel. Taste is along the same lines. Alright, not special. A bit too light mouthfeel.
3.8Draught@Tommyknockers, Helsinki. Cloudy amber color, frothy off-white head. Smooth flavor with cookies and hops. Caramel finish. Medium-full body, medium-high carbonation. Very nice.
3.3Draught @ Tommyknocker, Helsinki
Pours reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of malts, toffee, hints of berries, hops and sweet syrup. Taste is caramely malty, sweetish and mildly hoppy with hints of toffee. Finish is sweet and malty with hints of caramel, toffee and citrus. A bit stuffy and sweet malty IPA.
3.1Draught at the Tommyknocker, Helsinki, Finland.
Clear amber colour with a small white head.
Sweet tropical fruity hops, sugary sweetness and some biscuit malt in the aroma.
The flavour is sweet fruits, mild piney notes, mild bitterness and biscuit malt. Low carbonation. A bit watery for a 6.5% brew.
3.0Albany Winter Brewfest 2015. Pours hazy yellow. Flavor was boring and dry.
3.1Draught at Tommy Knockers. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, hops, caramel, malts and mango. Bitter finish with hops, malts, citrus and toffee. Very nice stout.
3.4Tap@tommyknockercraftbeerbar. Copper amber clear. Pines, grapefruit, amber caramels. Med,bodied, well bittered. Sort of ok, bit sterile though. Bitter pine finish.

2.7Bottle during the RBWG Lobby Share. Pours a clear orange with small white head. The aroma is pine and grass. Similar flavor, light bitterness, decent.
3.4Bottle shared late night in the hotel lobby during RBWG 2015. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Clear gold with a creamy white head. Decent piney hops on the nose, some pale bread, ripe orange. Medium sweet flavor with moderate oily pine, more ripened citrus, bready pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Basic piney hops in the finish, some citrus, white bread, hay. So so.
3.2Amber pour with a beige head. Aroma is malty and hops. Taste is more malt than hops. Tasty beer but doesn’t remind me of an IPA. Nice lacing.
3.5NIce and smooth. Not so bitter which is good. Thick and quite aromatic too. Great at the brewpub too.
2.7355 ml bottle, from Fakta Hirtshals. ABV is 6.2%, IBU 55. BB date 21. April 2014. Hazy orange to amber colour, low white head. Aroma of stale orange marmalade. The flavour is medium dry with citrussy notes, "unfresh" and stale notes in the moderately bitter finish and aftertaste. Drinkable, but hopefully better when fresh.
2.9Bottle. Lots of sweet malt and a somewhat unpleasant piney bitterness. I suppose it's technically balanced in that regard but it's just a little too extreme on both ends of the spectrum to be enjoyable.
3.2a very bitter and hoppy ipa. has a very hoppy aroma wtih a bitter and soapy finish. pours a cloudy orange with a white head. had this one while up at wisconsin dells.
2.8"Pick axe iPa on label. Pleasant but weak aroma of caramel, biscuit malt and mainly spicy hops with a hit of citrus. Flavor ok, but a little more subdued. Average beer, but enjoyed."
2.5Poured from a bottle. Murky orange color, small off white head. Light malt aroma. Medium body with a mild bitter flavor and a light finish.
3.2Pours a cloudy orange with a nice head. Aromas of citrus and peach. Aromas continue in the taste with a full malt body and some bitterness. The finish is a bit soapy though.
2.9Meh...average IPA. Drinkable. Aroma was lemon, light malt and grass. Pour was a nice medium orange with a one finger off white head. Taste was alright. Nothing great, nothing offensive. Perfect balance between earthy and lemony hops with a slightly tart and bitter finish. Decent carbonation.
3.0Bottle:
Cloudy, orange-amber with a small beige head.
Very light aroma...caramel, orange.
Taste is caramel malt, a little pepper, citrus.
Slightly bitter citrusy hops.
Mild...more in the APA zone.
3.0Pours very hazy orange with whispy sediment at bottom.
Drank one month before expiration date of 8/27/12.
Clean palate, low bitterness.
Medium head decent lacing.
Enjoyed this beer right after a more bitter IPA. (Victory Hop Devil)
So this beer came across as lower bitterness.
Smooth and clean.
3.3Light & drinkable for an ipa. Pretty avg pour & aroma. Goes down easy on a warm day w/ decent hop presence but not bitter by any means.
3.2Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden pale orange color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty dry hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty dry citrus hoppy finish.
3.2Aroma is orange and malt and very little to no hops. Caramel sweetness that is pleasant and nicely balanced with hop bitterness. Finish is light hopping with a very slight roastiness. Very drinkable but closer to today’s pale.
2.3Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a haazy orange body with a half finger white foamy head that quickly dies to a film coating the top of the body, some clingy foamy lacing a bit here and there.
The smell had some light grain malt, piney hops and a soapiness (wish I knew how old this was, but didn’t see any dates on the bottle), caramel comes out after a bit of warming.
The taste was sweet yet bitter at different times with a decent maltiness coming out to provide a nice balance, still that soapy taste comes in a bit but isn’t too bothersome.
On the palate, it sat light, very sessionable, the ABV is not felt, and seems just a tad under-carbonated.
Overall, hmmm.... I wish I knew how old this was, something just doesn’t seem right, I’d probably only seek again if I could find a fresher bottle as I’m thinkin’ this was a bit old.
3.30.355 bottle. Hazy, copper color and a small, creamy, off-white head. Very sweet and strong aroma of exotic fruits - it smells like a multivitamin juice. Taste is a little bit maltier than expected but hops still dominate the experience, nevertheless it is relatively bitter with only a little of nutty and malty tones. Medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is sweeter than the taste, much more balanced but still far from perfect. Overall the beer is alright but the unbalanced taste, which is both bitter and somewhat malty, spoils a bit for me.
2.8Bottled at Monk’s Cafe Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear pale amber, Aroma of citrus, caramel and paper. Mid sweet, medium body, rounded mouthfeel. Some grapefruit, plenty of caramel. Mid bitter finish. Average.
3.2Although a decent medium body and good looking orange beer with white sturdy head, way too sweet and an overwhelming aroma of caramel.
2.8Pours a clear copper with one finger of white head. Aroma is pine and slightly metallic. Slightly malty. Alcohol is a bit forward. Finishes clean and dry. Medium bodied
