2.9 12 oz. bottle pours a clear orangeamber color with small white head and a bit of lacing. Aroma is not strong, but is mostly caramel malts with some lightl floral hops. Body is light to medium with average carbonation. Easily drinkable and nothing bad - just not very memorable for me.
2.7 Clear, medium orange-amber with a persistent ivory head and long streaks of lace. The taste is a co-mingling of both sweet caramel and pine hops. There is not much of interest, although the beer drinks easily. Pleasant and plain.
4.1 Amber hue and crisp smell. Typical lager/pilsner taste. Good and very drinkable lager.
3.0 Standard brown pour with some white retention. Citrus, grass, malt, spice. Nothing special
2.9 Average amber. Some light caramel malt. Slightly unclean finish. Would be a decent sessionable summer bbq pick.
2.9 bottle 10/2/12. it is certainly amber colored...clear, with a small tannish head. strangely fruity aroma...akin to fermented oj and apple juice...mixed with grain and sweet-less brown sugar. the flavor is the same but it has an odd sourness which mixes with malt notes...not sure if i can like this enough to finish it...
2.8 Poured chestnut color with nose of earthy vienna malt. Tasted malty, with some earthy, brown sugar, and mild hop notes late. Not much here in flavor.
3.0 Clear copper color. A little blah and thin here. Not a ton of character. Some molasses and toffee aromas. Toasty grain and toffee again in the flavor. Finish a touch bitter and grassy.
3.0 Pours to small head that nonetheless sits for awhile and leaves nice ring of lacing. Aroma is vaguely fruity and burnt malt. Flavor is light with some malt and just enough tartness to keep it from being too bland. Aftertaste not much, but what is there is decently bready. Very middle-of-the-road beer - nothing really lacking, but nothing too exciting, either.
3.5 25th August 2010 Hazy amber beer, tidy small white head. Light orange on the nose. Crispy palate. Semi dry malt and fresh marmalade orange hops. Malt turns creamy before the finish which has more fresh orange. Nice!
2.2 Watery, bitter taste. Very disappointing after trying some of their other, heartier selections.
2.6 Bottled. Poured light-medium amber with a short, tight-bubbled beige head. The aroma picked up lightly sour, redder fruit skins along with sweet caramel.. not much excitement here. The flavor found similar stuff.. caramel (not as sweet) and redder fruits at the core, with dry, spicy and herbal hops around.. fruity tartness on the fairly sharp finish. Light-medium bodied with a choppy flow through the palate.. not terrible, but it seemed a little off.
2.4 Pours amber with light brown head. Aroma is grain, malt, burnt caramel. Taste is mostly malt with some hops on the finish. Not exciting , but easy to drink.
2.8 Bottle. Brown color with head that fades quick. Smells of carmel, bread and buts. Taste is bland, not a lot going on here. Drinkable but boring
2.5 Bottle. Orange-amber pour with a somewhat clingy white head. Nose is dusty, caramel, and a bit of rotten veggies. Palate is a bit watery. Taste is decent - caramel malt with a touch of earthy hops.
3.1 12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy amber with about a half finger of off-white head. Aroma of caramel and herbal hops. Taste is light bitter. Caramel and herbs. Medium bodied with a somewhat watery texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I would drink it again but not seek it out.
3.1 Bottled. Pours a transparent amber brown. Smallish head. Light caramels etc. Not too bad.
3.3 Bottle: pours a fairly clear amber color with a small off white head. Aromas of grassy citrus. Flavors of malt that are quickly passed by a biting citrus bitterness. Nice beer!
3.4 Pours a dull cloudy amber with a creamy medium head. Light malt aroma with a slightly hop-spiced malt taste. Good carbonation and body on the palate, slightly sour and spicy aftertaste.
2.5 Orangey amber color with an off white head. Sweet and malty with some orange like citrus flavor. A bit of tartness. Meh.
2.9 light hoppy and soured aroma, golden, clear, off white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, oily feel, lively, light sour finish.
2.5 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, hops, and caramel. Poured amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished greatly, but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Very good lacing. Full of small particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, hops, and caramel. Light to medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Medium sweet, malt, hop, caramel finish.
2.8 Lightly acidic vienna. Medium amber coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Aroma is slightly acidic, fruity, red berries. Flavor starts moderat sweet and light acidic, finish light bitter.
2.6 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Slightly sour moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Watery palate. Not very good.
3.3 12oz bottle. Poured a red-amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a slightly nutty, malty one. Flavor was caramel notes, malts, a touch of grain. An okay brew.
2.3 I’m not much of an amber beer guy, and my expectations weren’t too high. Despite not having an over abundance of flavor, and a slight vinegary astringency to it, it feels clean and has some pleasant maltiness. Not something I’d buy again, but not a terrible beer.
2.4 aroma malty and yeasty somewhat macro=lager-like..dark reddish brown slightly cloudy half inch off white head..what taste their is is more or less hints..hints of malty sweetness hints of hop bitterness otherwise rather bland..palate finish and aftertaste also rather light and bland..overall inoffensive but not much to like either
2.4 Bottle. Aroma has notes of caramel, bread and a little cheese. Medium amber hue with a small mostly diminishing head that left almost no lace. Flavor is heavy sweet. Palate is medium bodied and oily low average. Overall a below average brew that’s not terrible.
1.5 translucent amber with a thin white head; medium body with high carbonation. aroma: bright piney floral hops, sweet caramel malt. taste: harsh mineral hop bitterness, stale malt, cardboard. there is great malt and candied pine character in there, but some harsh water-hop interaction.
2.7 Pours dark amber with an off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, bready malt, and light hops. Flavor is light caramel, iced tea, and a little bitterness toward the finish.
