16 ounce can. Opaque, black brown color. Frothy tan head disappears quickly. Big, roasted malt aroma has smoky notes. Sweet, roasted malt flavor hints at chocolate and molasses. Easy drinking for a stout. Worth seeking out.
4pk tallboy cans. deep dark brown pour, large fluffy light brown head. aroma of light smoke, roasty, anise. tastes are cocoa, nuts, herbal, roasty. medium palate.
Pours oily black with a thin tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, chocolate. Taste has more toasted malt, some nutty elements. Palate has a ton of toasted nuts, more chocolate. Quite good.
Draft to taster at The Pint Room. Looks good; a lightly translucent dark cola with beige head that dissipates slowly. Smells of molasses, hops, and black licorice. Tastes like it smells with a touch of smoke as well. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Pretty good, but a full pour would be plenty.

The body is black and deep, white and brown foam, average carbonation for the style. It is an aromatic oatmeal stout, smocked at the beginning and after somr sips, the coffee and the oat become more important, dry and mineral, typical touch of this kind of cereal, hop, well balanced, not a surprise, good brewery.

Appearance is opaque black with sparkle only noticeable from the top of the glass, fleeting 1/2-finger width light brown head with no lacing. Aroma is cocoa, slightly burnt coffee, lactose. Taste is cocoa, lactose, mild coffee, late hint of anise. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation that morphs to lively at the end of the sip, and finish as taste. Overall, solid across the board, though the carbonation is a little too lively at the end. Nothing unusual that distinguishes it from the crowd, but a good representative of the style.

16oz can. Pours nearly black with a tiny tan head. Aroma is roast, molasses, chocolate, some oats, and a little coffee. Taste is molasses, chocolate, and light nuts Light-medium body. Moderate carbonation. Creamy, thick-ish mouthfeel - that feels like it belongs to a heavier bodied beer.
Pours thick, sticky black with a full, dark tan head. Aroma is molasses, cocoa and roast. Taste is molasses and chocolate, warming to roast and light coffee. Finish is smooth cafe au lait. A very well-done sweet stout.
