3.2Bottle. I think you known from where. Pours clear brown with an inch of beige head. Aroma is a little strange: you have your caramel and whatnot, but there’s this sweet cola scent as well that overpowers everything else. Flavor is caramel, a hint of roasted nuts, minor dark fruits. It’s actually quite smooth and nowhere near deserving of the "21 overall" that it currently holds.
3.4This beer is super cleanly made. The low rating on here is bullshit, people being biased against Mexican beer. It's a solid dark.
3.4Bottle - good size foamy head, nice dark Amber color, big nutty malt aroma and flavor, full bodied but easy drinking, pretty good overall, better than expected, certainly on par if not better than Negro Modelo
3.011.2 ounce bottle poured into a pilsner glass, dark ruby/brown hue with a thin tan head that slowly recedes with some lacing. Taste is of roasted malt with hints of chocolate, caramel and of dark fruit. Decent dark beer for game day’s Would recommend to friends it’s a very drinkable beer.
3.9I actually am very impressed with this beer for what it is. Dark Carmel nose and flavor. Never ending head amazing appearance. Nice mouthfeel. Really one of the better dark lagers I have had.
3.0Bottle, 33 cl, Trader Joe’s, Fort Lauderdale FL. Decent, a tad too much carbonation.
3.0Fairly malty, nutty, sweet. Caramel and cereal. A long finish keeps it from being watery. Not terrible, not a standout.
3.512 oz. bottle. It pours a very dark amber red color with an off white head. The aroma is malty bready with hints of cherry, cola, nuts and hints of cocoa. Nice. The flavor is malty, lightly nutty with cola-like sweetness. More cherry in the finish. Flavorful. Seems a bit more like a dunkel. I enjoyed this more than I expected to. Would purchase again.
2.8From the 12 fl.,oz. bottle. It pours a handsome looking chestnut brown with a quick head. Aroma is sweet with caramel malts and roasty. Kind of clean aroma too. Light body. The taste is sweet at first with a mild bitter finish. There is nothing wrong with this beer but there is nothing extraordinary about it either.
3.2I’ll say this: you cold do a lot worse for the price! Not bad. A nice malt backbone holds this thing together. It is smooth, cocoa, chocolate, and rich. 11.2oz bottle pour.
2.212 oz. bottle from the Cincy location from notes. Pours a clear reddish brown tea color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some grainy character, but also toasted malt, caramel, hints of fruit, this was the best of the bunch for these guys.
3.5Quite nice and creamy. Nice to finally had it. Dark and with the lager style of the Cerveceria MExicana that I like.
2.112oz bottle, thanks to Chris R. Cap has a $1.00 sticker on it. Clear brown red color. Finger of off-white head. Decent bits of lace. Dark fruit and caramel flavor, dates. Mild spiciness, some mild metallic, mild mustiness. Medium body. Moderate stength carbonation. Lightly slick. Light to moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter, and a mild bite. Overall, an ok mexican dark macro lager, but not impressive.
3.2Bottle from trader joe’s pours Amber. Doughy pretzel taste, some cherry. Grassy hop finish. Syrupy.
2.1Bottle. Clear deep amber color, small off white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is lightly toasted caramel. Plain.
2.7Bottle:
Clear, dark brown with a small beige head.
Almost smoky caramel malt, aroma.
Lactic and sweetly caramel...almost tangy chocolate malt.
Ok, but just barely.
2.8Ar 355ml twist offbottle. General de ark is Mexican lager that thankfully the doesn’t come in a clear bottle.e
1.8Bottle. Sharp lactic caramel malt aroma. Dark amber with small head. Light sweet-sour milk caramel malt and lightly bitter dry grass flavor. As good as I thought it would be.
3.2Type: 330-ml. (11.2 oz.) bottle

Poured a brown, dark caramel, murky color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki, tan head. Very good foamy circular lacing along the sides of the cup. Above average-to-very good retention of nice foaminess on the top all the way down. (Sight - 3.57)
Smelled lager or pilsner notes up front, followed by porter notes. Got corn, skunky malts, cereal, then caramel, toffee, chocolate and some roasty malts. (Smell - 3.70)
Taste wasn’t as nice as the smell, but similar. Got caramel, toffee, roasty chocolate malts, roasted nuts, chocolate milk, earthy malts, boozy corn, cereal and some grassy hay. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, slightly roasted itter finish. (Feel - 3.40)
A lot better than I thought it would be. I don’t know what I was expecting, but for this style this was pretty good. (Overall - 3.52)

2.4"Fairly typical (maybe ever so slightly better) mexican style dark lager. A little roast, but still refreshing. Light chocolate, caramel, and hops on the palate. Not a bad deal for .99."
2.6bottle shared with pals at club w... dark pur into glass with thin brownish head, smooth, easy drinking, surprisingly ok for a TJ’s product
3.1Tawny colored pour. Big off white creamy head. Plenty of lacing. Aroma similar to alt. Minerally. Malty. Taste is watered down malt and roasted notes. Somewhat creamy with a bit of bitterness. A little thin but another decent drinker.
3.2This isn’t great but it isn’t bad either. In the glass, it is a transparent garnet brown. It’s head is of fine bubbles and leaves little spots of lace on the glass. This is a solid dark lager w/ nice caramel and toasted grain notes from the malt. There is a hint of cheapo dark beer wierdness going on--never know what to call this, kinda reminds me of the smell of the ocean in a strange way and also Coca Cola--but it’s not too bad and the beer is overall quite pleasant. This is medium to full bodied w/ fine but vigorous carbonation and really a nicely drinkable beer. I would not call this a stellar example of the style but I think it achieves what it is trying to achieve so good enough.
2.6Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a glossy somewhat dark red color with a one finger bubbly white head. There was some indifferent messy lacing stringing itself all over the place.
The smell had a burnt / somewhat dirt-like weird caramel maltiness.
The taste was basically the same with a super dry weird somewhat sweet maltiness.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it - depending upon how one looks at this. The carbonation was there and good for the style and for me.
Overall, decent beer nothing to go bonkers about. Just okay.
2.3Trade José Dark Premium Beer has a thin, cream-colored head, a clear, reddish-brown appearance, some bubble streams on the side of the glass, and almost no lacing left on the glass. The aroma is nonexistent. Taste is of a slightest little sweetness, but also pretty much nothing. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Trade José Dark Premium Beer finishes easy drinking, refreshing, and flavorless. RJT
3.3A fairly good dark lager. Tasty yet still drinkable. Decent find for a trader Joe's beer. Is drink it again.
2.2Nice red-copper color, thin beige head. Second the aroma of pennies. Very mild, tastes a little malty, with hint of stone fruit/apricots. Cheap.
3.011.2oz twist off bottle drom jcwattsrugger. Poured a clear thinner reddish/brown with a smaller to average foamy super light beige head. Aroma of pennies, rust, chocolate, grains, dark fruits. Initial body starts off watery then the strong carbonation pushes everything into the fuller creamy realm, odd. Flavor of grains, sweet medium to darker toast, hint of chocolate, roasty.
4.1Taste is burnt chocolate, fuller body and taste than Modelo Negro. Enjoy!
2.9Pours a dark copper color with a small white head. A light sweet malty nose. The flavor is light cherries, dry toffee, cola. Pretty decent. Reminds me of Negra modelo.
