Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale - Galaxy Dry Hopped

Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale - Galaxy Dry Hopped

This version of our signature American pale ale is dry hopped with the pungent Galaxy variety. Enticingly hazy and blonde in appearance with frothy carb, the nose erupts with strong citrus, passion fruit, and pineapple aromatics. Upfront and resinous hop-derived flavors of grapefruit pith, peach, and mango are balanced with a subtle, bready malt character and mild, subdued bitterness.

4.0 Can @ Drikkeriget. Pours hazy golden with a big white head and lacings. Nose is citrus and lemon cake. Juicy and inviting. Dank and dry flavor with a bit of grease.
3.2 Can in the gardens. Pours hazy orange, nose is pine, citrus, taste is floral, grass, light fruit.
3.7 47 cl can @ home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma and flavour are grapefruit, herbs, resin, and pine - with a bitter finish. The aroma is clearly better from the can than from a glass.
3.9 473 ml can. Pours hazy yellow color with a large white head. Lots of grapefruits and lemon on the nose, hops, subtle passion fruit notes, piney and slightly resinous too. Grapefruits and lemon are quite strong on the flavor as well, mouthwatering juicy and dank, some bitterness and pine, lingering hoppy finish. Very good. 4516
4.0 Fruity with light husky note, citrus, cloudy yellow, citrus, very fruity, bitter, bit malty (husky), very smooth, thin to medium bodied, juicy.

3.1 keg at friends and family session 1 2020.... hazy amber.. thin white lacing... soft sweet green hop nose.. Light herbal green hop
4.1 (473ml can as Galaxy DDH Fort Point, from Trillium's Fort Point location, c/o my lovely better half Phyllomedusa) Pours opaque orange juice with an average white head, spotty lace. Aroma of pungent tropical fruit lead by sweet floral lychee, mango, peach and soft papaya, with undertones of citrus and pineapple; lovely. Flavour is quite dry and crisp overall, with the floral lychee and guava tones matched by some pithy orange and grass, with lightly bready pale malt at the core. Bone dry lightly bitter finish of fruit peels and citrus pith, quite mineral water profile. Medium-bodied smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. A lovely APA, especially on the nose where it showcases everything I love about Galaxy.
4.2 Cannette.
3.3 On tap at Hops & Pie poured a turbid gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of straw, grapefruit, lemon zest and light yeast. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, citrus, earthiness and yeast with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.
4.2 Hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma of tropical hops, passion fruit, citrus zest, mild pineapple and light bready grains. Similar flavor, fresh and juicy with pleasant hop bitterness and light sweetness. Medium body with a refreshing finish. Excellent APA overall.
4.0 Draught @ Trillium Fort Point, Boston, MA. Smooth, fresh juicy fruity and chewy tropical with some pine, mango, citrus and herbal hops, some hints of dankness. Smooth and chewy juicy.
3.7 Tap at Trillium, Fort Point. Color is very cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, tropical fruits, hops and malts. Basic stuff with very nice drinkability.
4.2 Pours a murky pale yellow with an even film of white foam. Taste is midway between tropical fruit bowl and yeasty, mineral, lemony thing. Pretty damn nice I must say. And super chuggable. Medium to full mouthfeel. Lingering, lightly bitter aftertaste. I’ll take a case, please.
4.4 Murky straw pour from a can. Huge four finger white fluffy head. Aromas fresh citrus, tropical fruit and peach. Taste of pineapple and mango mix with dank bitterness and fresh pine. Smooth mouthfeel, gentle bitterness, and dry crisp finish.
3.9 16 oz. can from Cory. Thanks again! Pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head that settles into a soft thick ring and film, leaving trailing lace behind. Notes of orange citrus, sweet and doughy malts, stone fruit, leaves, earth, straw, light oils, wheat, pineapple, and florals. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a sweet, malty, fruity, slightly bitter, just barely oily mouthfeel. Doesn’t quite pop as expected but really good throughout, nonetheless.
4.0 Can, into a tulip glass. Pours hazy yellow golden with thin white head that fades slowly. Aroma is juicy tangerine and mango, bright citrus zest shines on the back. Taste is similar - more pink grapefruit up front, orange and tangerine fill out the body. Hop bitterness shows lightly and fades quickly to a dry clean finish. Very good.
3.7 Tap at brewery. Pours hazy gold. Aroma and flavor are pale and lightly toasted malts, tropical fruit, faint dank, and faint woodiness with smooth bitterness. Medium body.
3.7 Draft at the Canton brewery. Pours opaque apricot gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like resin, grass, grapefruit and floral hops, and biscuit malt. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like resin, grass, grapefruit hops, floral, and biscuit malt.
