Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale - Mosaic Dry Hopped

Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale - Mosaic Dry Hopped

With this distinctively dank Fort Point variant we feature Mosaic in the dry hop. Pouring a faintly cloudy, canary gold, Mosaic Fort Point emits a fragrant nose of herbal-woodsy hop, passion fruit, and zesty meyer lemon. Thirst quenching flavors of juicy mango, peppy citrus, and earthy hop entwine on the palate with the familiar biscuity mouthfeel, medium body, and bone dry finish of our signature pale ale.

3.6 Draft at the Canton location on 15 October The ale poured cloudy gold color with no lacing. Orange peel on the nose. The taste was more complex with pineapple, pine resin, and more orange peel. A nice pale ale with a medium body and average carbonation. You feel the carbonation in the upper mouth. A complex pale ale bordering on IPA territory.
3.9 Hazy caramel colour, white head. Hoppy aroma, very fruity, grapefruit, tropical fruits, candy, caramel. Sweet malty flavour, fresh hops, green hops. Hoppy finish, fresh green hops, tropical fruits, loads of grapefruit. Nice!! (from 1pt can @ our NJ hideout. Thanks for the can, Doug!)
4.1 6 days old can from the source enjoyed at the hotel while preparing my next day's presentation. Hazy yellow orange color with white to off white head. Hoppy and light malty aroma, heavy grassy and fruity, dank grassy and light pine, tropical, citrus and some stone fruits. Light sweet and moderate to heavy bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
3.9 Can thanks to a customer, shared at work with Joe & Tom & Rich. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Strong grapefruit aromas. Taste is dry, dank, hoppy, grapefruit pith, light tropicalia. Very refreshing and easy drinking.
3.4 Pours a hazy amber from a can, some thick lacing. Nice Mosaic-aroma, fruity, a bit of pine. Similar flavor although a little thin. Good beer.
4.2 One of those hazy beers that reminds you why hazy beers are such a craze these days. Brilliant showcase of Mosaics, loads of tropical citrus and berry accentuated by earth and pine with a moderate caramel and wet malt sweetness. Finishes with a mild bitterness and an intense citric flourish. Tasty as hell.
3.7 Fresh can from Canton. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of mint. Taste is malt forward with a grassy minty hop flavor that finishes dry and crisp.

3.8 (Can, 0.473 l - canned on 30/01/18, thanks VastActiv, at tiong's tasting, 20180309) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, perfume and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, grapefruit, tangerine and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very pleasant hoppy brew with proper body.

4.0 Can at hotel room in Fort Point, Boston. Canned 30/01/2018... this morning... so it should be super fresh... and it is. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, grass, dryness, hops and malts. Superlative mosaic APA. I love mosaic.
3.9 Can split at L42, big thanks to the Wingmane, 19/10/17. Hazed golden with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is pine needle, skunky hops, melon, papaya, bitter orange, straw. Taste comprises dank hop bite, pine resin, toasted grains, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dyring close peppered with semi dank hop bitterness. Solid APA.
4.4 Pours a 1/2 finger high, white, creamy head. Color is golden orange and fairly juicy. Small arms of lace. Nose of citrus, cat pee, light dankness over mild earthy hops, tangerine and a little starfruit. Medium-light body with semi-airy carbonation. Taste is little more bitter than nose leads on with cat pee dankness, citrus, pine, perfume cling, and big orange and grapefruit peel. Love mosaic hop and this one does not disappoint.
3.5 16oz can. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is lemon, mango, passion fruit, floral hops, pineapple, pine, some herbs, and lightly sweet maltiness. Taste is mango, lemon, pine, light bread, some pineapple, some passion fruit, a tiny bit of grapefruit, light earthiness, some minerals, and light spice. Bitter - and that bitterness is lasting and grows over time. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Heavy, full mouthfeel. Two sweet and vaguely off-putting while at the same time retaining what makes Fort Point such a great beer.
3.8 Can at tasting. Aroma of vegetal mosaic, pineapple, mango, tropical fruit and bready malt. Taste of bitter mosaic, pineapple, mango, mild pine, biscuity malt, grapefruit and a bitter finish. Nice.
4.0 Tasted from can. Pours a hazy gold with white head. Aroma is lemon, herbal and some tropical notes. Well balanced. Flavors of citrus, a little pine and some melon and other tropical notes. Awesome pale ale.
3.8 8th July 2017 Trillium TTO at Beavertown. Keg. Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, sweetish, a little thin cream. Good hop spice. Ripe pineapple and a trace of sweet orange. Smooth semi dry finish. Spicy hop linger. Nice but an APA wandering around IPA territory could use a little more hop punch.
4.3 Thanks to Joost & Kraddel. 473 ml. can sampled. Very hazy orange, creamy head. Nose is mango juice, litchi but also hay malts. Taste is bit doughy, almost pasty dough with mango peel, fruity, flowers, finish is bitter hay grain which makes it different from expected, drinks well. Hazy pasty. Another great Trillium beer.

3.7 1pt can shared by me at Powys from trade with Francois, big thanks. fresh, but BB date not readable anymore. dark yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells of candy, fruity, lightly citric, passion fruit, light caramel. nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, grassy, oats, cerial, earthy, bit peppery, lightly soapy. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of cerial, citrus and earthy notes. very nice one, but maybe a bit heavy on the cerial, I think should be like 1 1/2 month old. good but not overwhelming. 7 / 4 / 8 / 3 / 15
4.2 Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17 1 pint can, shared by Weckmeister, many thanks! Orange, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, yellowish head. Incredibly juicy, especially in the taste, with lovely, diverse fruit notes. Just enough body, Drinks very fresh. Almost perfect APA, outstanding stuff.
4.6 Draught, Row 34. Cloudy, light amber-tan with a frothy head. Bright fruity, orange and grapefruit hop nose...nice and juicy. Bitter up front with a beautifully sweet orange juice character. Just a touch of yeastiness. I know these guys make a lot of killer pales, but it's hard to imagine doing much better than this for an APA
4.0 Can: Gold color with a tan head. Aroma of abounding hops, peach fuzz skin, and green grapes. Robust hop flavor with a full body. Wowzers!
