Trillium Summer Street IPA - Double Dry Hopped

Trillium Summer Street IPA - Double Dry Hopped

Our enhanced version of Summer St. IPA features a secondary dry hopping with Simcoe which leads to a fuller mouthfeel, amplified nose, and an intensified depth of grassy, raw hop character. Double Dry Hopped Summer Street is hazy, sunflower gold in appearance with strong aromatics of pine and lemon. Bold flavors of juicy tangerine, pine resin, and green pear dominate the palate with modest bitterness and a dry finish.

4.0 16 ounce can from Trillium. Hazy orange in color with a lot of citrus and zest and juice.
4.4 Can during Copenhagen Beer Celebration Boston. Lemony tones with some slight pine notes as to be expected. Slightly more bitter than other Trill IPAs. Extreme drinkability. Nice
4.4 Tropical mango papaya aroma and flavors. Really juicy hoppy tropical mango IPA. Really delicious. Some piney bitter. Just the right amount to balance. Quite great!!! Maybe a little more body than tree house Julius.
3.7 Draft at Trillium Canton. Pours yellow and cloudy with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Lots of pine and grass on the nose with a hint of fruit. Finished dry with just a hint of bitterness. Pretty quaffable.
3.7 Can shared by Dave, Thanks! Hazy deep straw with a frothy white head that persists. Earthy pine and citrus with hints of tropical fruit and bready malt. Nice beer.
4.2 Aroma of pine, peaches, apricot, mango. Taste of bubblegum, apricot, passionfruit, pine, very balanced and soft.
4.1 On tap at Armsby Abbey in Woo-stah. Cleaner than hazy pour with a orangeish tint and an off-orange head. Oranges. Tropical fruits. Cannot really tell of the double dryhopping, which is a plus and minus. Solid & tasty. 15.2
3.5 16 oz can poured a cloudy gold with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of straw, yeast, grapefruit and light grassiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, yeast and citrus with a smooth dry lingering bitter yeasty finish.
4.2 Can. Pours out a nice murky hazy darker gold color with a moderate white head. Aroma is of grassy hops, some pine, resin, light sweet citrus fruit, some light lemon. Taste is complex as hell, pine, evergreen, light herbal notes, juicy tangerine, some lemon, light grain. Really well done. These guys just nail it.
3.9 From growler in Boston, filled that day at Trillium, Canton. Creamy white head. Thick hazy juice. Pithy orange body. Fairly bitter. Full, lightly sweet body. Nice, rising bitterness. Nice.
4.1 Thanks to Andy for getting this for me. Pours hazy orange yellow with a small white top. Aroma is big juicy citrus and orange peel. Taste is orange juice with moderate citrus hop bitterness. Wheat adds body to a very NE IPA.
4.4 Pours a super hazed chalky OJ-like golden with white head. Dry piney aroma. Dry piney flavor with some juicy hop edges. Notes; on tap at 5 Horses Tavern
4.1 OHHH MY LORD. One of the greatest IPAs of my life. Pours a hazy, straw and orange juice body with a fizzy of white head. The nose is resinous, fruit forward with tons of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon zest, mangoes. Pine is heavy on the aroma and mild in the flavour. Gorgeous citrus and stonefruit with a heavy bitterness on the finish. Heavy body for an IPA with a rich, smooth mouthfeel. WOW!
4.4 Tasted from can. Pours a hazy orange with white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, pear. Taste is moderately to heavily bitter. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, caramel, pine, resin, caramel, crackers, lemon. Awesome IPA.

4.3 Pours a very hazy, orange-yellow, with minimal head. Citrus and pine-hop aromas. Flavor includes a ton of citrus--grapefruit and bitter orange--with pine/spruce hops in a semi-bitter finish. Another winner from Trillium.
4.2 Can from Fort Point. Pours cloudy pale yellow orange, thin white head. Aroma is guava, pear, lemon, melon, pine, citrus rind. Flavor is smooth ripe pear, citrus, guava, light bread, dough, dry pine and rind. Light side of medium bodied, a super hopped beauty.
3.8 Orange, cloudy. Nonexistent head. Smooth hops and long finish. Citrusy and very good.
3.8 Aroma: Crackers, Grassy, Floral... Appearance: Hazy Golden Straw/Orangish Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head Ring, Some Lacing.... Taste: Grassy, Crackers, Floral... Mouthfeel: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildlly Drying
4.1 Bit sharper, but still super smooth, delivering nice hop kick of citrus and tropical fruits, mostly lemon, mango, pine. Feels bit earthy and somewhat herbal. Moderate bitterness with light sweetness. Nice
3.9 16 oz can. My phone predicted I would say "Hazy orange," but this is definitely a murky orange. Take that, predictive text! Not much of a head. Smells of sweet orange with a little bit of resin and lemon. Tastes of sweet orange throughout. Pine resin and melon build in intensity. Becomes just a touch astringent. Medium body, almost chewy. It’s quite the hop expression. Dare I say too much? That might be harsh, as it is really tasty.
4.0 16 oz. can from seeswo - thanks again, Chris! Pours a really hazy goldenrod with a finger of white head that eventually settles into an uneven ring and a bit of film while leaving plenty of lace in the glass. It starts off muddled initially, fruity and doughy and without much hop character coming through. Then as it opens up, a good Simcoe-Columbus bitterness comes through, giving off the aforementioned fruits (pineapple, citrus, mango, and melon), with pine, grass, florals, and some underlying sweet malts. Medium-bodied, with a fruity, bitter mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Really nice. My snap judgment would’ve left me in the 3.7-3.8 area, but this really got better as it opened.
