Triporteur From Hell

Triporteur From Hell

Triporteur From Hell is a dark beer brewed with hellish burned and roasted BOM malt. The beer reminds us of chocolate, caramel, recently brewed coffee and freshly baked bread. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can cause a slight cloudiness. The taste of Hell keeps evolving in the bottle.

2.5 Bottle 33cl. Dark brown with a beige head. Metallic aroma and some roasted malt tones. Mild taste of typical amber beer, but not as intense as expected. Quite neutral, actually not much taste. High carbonized.
3.7 A small taste from a friend (bottle) @ Uusi Sauna. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with some coffee drops and chocolate. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, coffee drops, chocolate, hops. Good.
3.0 De cervezasespeciales. En copa Grimbergen. Jugando a Thimbleweed Park.
2.8 Bottle @ home. Pours very dark brown with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, bread, cocoa, licorice. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malt, caramel, yeast, cocoa, little licorice. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 010419
4.1 Schon wieder kitschig, american brownhot & stumpf aromatisch mit ToffeeeeeeEasyHeavyness ;)...0,33l Bottle in Brüssel...
2.8 The beer has got a hazy golden orange colour with a steady head and smooth body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and flowers. Taste of bread, fruits, Belgian yeast and flowers. Flowery finish.
3.5 Bottle. Dark bronze color, slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: caramel, slightly creamy, bread, cake with dried fruit. Taste: caramel, cake, sweet, a little nuts and dried fruits.
3.6 Dark brown beer , average carbonisation, cofee malt flavor minimal head medium body
3.2 Aroma - sweet, toast, caramel, and hazelnut. Appearance - the body is brown cola colored and full of abundant nucleation. The head is beige and 1/2", and ends in a thin film. Taste - hazelnut, caramelized sugar, biscuit, and toasted malt. Palate - body is medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is average, finish is toasty and semisweet.

3.4 From a 33 cl bottle. Pours a clear deep mahogany with a massive tan head. Aromas are caramel and toffee, with sweet caramel flavors. Pretty tasty malt bomb.
3.0 22/10/2017 @home - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Brown with small beige head. Nose is dark malts, some caramel. Taste is dark malts, some caramel, some chocolate, some hops. Nothing roasted or coffee. I read it should be a stout but really feels more like a Dubbel, but fortunately not a sweet one.

3.3 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a reddish brown with a small off-white head and an aroma of bread, roasted malts, ripe fruits, cocoa, banana and coffee with cream. The taste is light to medium sweet with a thin body and some roasty complexities. Just a nice beer.
3.4 Dark amber/brown color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, cocoa, & some coffee notes; Flavor of malt, caramel/toffee, chocolate, and some fruit; Dry finish; Fairly well balanced; Somewhat thin - but decent overall.
3.5 Very unusual Belgian Ale, which tastes much closer to a stout rather than a Belgian ale. Pours clear brown / copper, fizzy minimal head, which vanished in few seconds, no lacing. Aroma of roasted barley, lightly fruity. Doesn’t taste sweet as I expected from a Belgian ale, but rather a British maltiness of roasted barley, with notes of chocolate and brown sugar. Medium bodied, smooth, average carbonation. Very enjoyable and distinctive Belgian ale.
3.8 the aroma is caramel and fruity with hints of vanilla, raisin, toffee, brown sugar and robust... the taste is caramel and fruity with notes of raisin, coffee, dried fruits and toffee... sweet and dry aftertaste...
3.4 33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Dark reddish malt and mild chocolate in the aroma, spruce, caramel. Taste of dark caramelish malt, mild chocolate, yeast, some reddish fruits, nice one!

Smaak: moutzoetig, kandij. Stevige koolzuurprikkel. Matig tot medium volmondig. Afdronk: koolzuurprikkel en wat papier.
3.7 F: big, light tanned, not long lasting. C: dark brown, hazy. A: roasted, malt, chocolate, toffee, dried fruits, coffee, cocoa, dates. T: malt, chocolate, cocoa, mocha, dried fruits, brown sugar, medium body, medium carbonation, straightforward and for me more like abbey dubbel but good, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.
