3.4Pours clear blonde, ok white head. Smell is spiced, coriander, bit sweet. No overload though. Taste is bit bitter, coriander, some sweetness (sugary) . Ok mf and carbo. Pretty standard wjite-like beer, even though its not ás spices as others in the genre.
2.4APPEARANCE: clear white like beer, small stable head.
NOSE: wheat, fruity, nothing much here.
TASTE: wheat again, some lemon. Could be better....
2.7Bottled as Blond Bitch from Systembolaget
Hazy yellow eith a large, white head.
Rather weak and metallic aroma with citric notes.
A bit yeasty in flavour with a strange citric spiciness; urinary block...
3.8Pajiza turbia. Escasa espuma.
2.9(Triverius 500) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tumbler. ABV 6.8%
Quite clear body, pale orange in colour, with a tall but thin white head on top. Low retentio.
Aroma of old wheat, straw, orange peel underneath.
The taste has orange peel, coriander, wheat, not much different than any other wit beer out there but this one tastes old while it’s not.
Medium thin body, good carbonation, numbing feeling on the palate from the coriander.
Nothing special.
2.8Bottle 33cl. Almost clearly yellow with a medium white head that stays for a while. Aroma is pretty standard white beer stuff: some yeast and malts. The taste is surprisingly spicy at first, then a rather dry white beer taste comes in. The spices return in the aftertaste. Nothing special.
3.1Bottle from Klaas. Many thanks! Hazy golden colour, white foam. Aroma of banana, citrus and some spices. Sweet, light bitter finish. Easy drinkable. Ok beer.
3.433cl bottle on 6th Feb 2015 in De Bierboom (Brugge), no mention of 500 on my label. I thought this grainy for a Witbier. Slight haze to the light golden pour, white head on top. Spices in the aroma with a yeasty, citrusy overtone, some sweet banana and bubblegum like esters in there too. The taste was leaning towards sweeter than the nose with grainy bread maltiness adding to the smells and traces found in the aroma. A bit sweet for a Witbier and more multi-grain than wheat. Nice though.
2.8Bottle from Systembolaget Ulricehamn, Sweden. Named Blond Bitch Beer. Clear pale golden beer with a decent white head. Malty bready aroma, spicy, dough, some perfume. Perfume and spearmint flavor, grassy, caramel, menthol, some spices. A bit odd.
3.233 cl. bottle poured in to a Weizen glass. Hazy, pale golden colour with a fine, fluffy white head. Spicy aroma with yeasts, citrus, coriander, banana and bubble gum. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a lively, tingling carbonation. Finishes rather sweet and rich for a Witbier with spices and wheat malts. A Witbier to the sweeter side. I prefer these a bit drier and lighter in alcohol.
Blijft gemiddeld hangen.
3.1’Tarwedubbel’ named after a 16th-century scientist (if such a thing even existed back then) with a cream white, moussy, stable head and orangey golden blonde colour, hazy, even milky after adding the deposit. Aroma of fresh wheat sourishness, sweet bread, pear, peach, straw, ginger, coriander, vanilla, gingerbread. Malt sweetish onset, refreshing wheat sourishness, fruity, with some coriander and a drying finish with a hint of warming alcohol. The added spices are subdued in this - in fact, De Graal claims to use none at all. I’m convinced I found some coriander in this, however, but that could still be autosuggestion. Interesting.
2.9Bottle in Brugge. Clear straw that dissipates quickly leaving a collared white ring. Aroma of spice leads to an unrefined taste of slight wheat malt and moderate spice hops. Moderate thin mouthfeel.
4.233 cl. bottle @ Mombasa as “De Graal Triverius“. Hazy orange, solid creamy white head. Thick wheat nose with lovely fruity orange & peach aspects, fruity, little caramel. Thick strong wheat flakes taste, creamy, ripe peach, flowers, soft fruit, harmonious coriander… Very creamy, wonderful, I am not a big fan of the style but this is one of the better examples that I have hade, big surprise, very nice.
2.2(Bottle). Aroma and taste of tangy citrus, yeast and spices. Funky aroma, I don’t like it!
3.4Bottle at LPK.
Slightly sour dry nose, spicy.
Clear yellow color, small white head.
Medium body, dry spicy.
:)
Bolton Brew.
Aucune sensation noble. Un coup dans l’eau...
3.333cl bottle from Delhaize. Clear golden with a medium white head which disappeared pretty quick. Light to medium body with ditto carbonation. Peach, orange, citrus, grass and some herbs. A nice refreshing Belgian brew.
3.1On tap at Biercab. Golden colour with white head. Citric, wheat, soapy aroma. Sweet, fruity and wheat taste, also some spices and yeast. Medium body.
4.2very light and refreshing with a good aftertaste, pleasantly surprised. Bought it in a ’mixed lot’ so didn’t know what to expect (thought it might be a cheap beer to make up the numbers) but next time I visit Belgium I will look for it and buy more
3.5Bottle@home. Straw slight hazy. Fine one finger foam. Small nice bubbels with good carbonation. Citrus, ginger, clover notes. Fresh spicy not peppery dusty gentle taste. Medium mouthfeel. 6.8%vol.
Klassisk men kanske lite blek belgisk blond/wit.
3.4Light golden colour with a normal head. Smell: orange zest, sugar, and wheat.Taste: orange, citrus, bitterness, gentle bitterness and dryness at the end. Not a typical white beer, but I like it.
3.633 cl bottle. Aroma: citrus and bresd. Appearance: clear golden with nice white head. Taste:medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate: medium body, creamy, fizzy. medium body, medium body, Overall: nice white beer.
