Heartful, strong Weizenbierschmankerl with typical yeast turbidity. Its unmistakable colour receives it by the addition from aromatic dark dunkelmalz.

3.0Bottle from Rewe Velburg - clear dark brown color, beige head. Taste is caramel, dark malts, chocolate. Overall flavors are quite weak. Okay, but a bit thin.
3.4Pours clear caramel with a thick and persistent beige head. Aroma offers toasted malt, banana, caramel and subtle wheat notes, inviting a sip. Flavor yields toasted malt, banana, caramel and wheat with a hint of woody hops. Texture provides decent body and perky fizz. Dunkel your pleasure, weizen your fun.
2.8Half liter draft at Cocoa Village Bier Garten, Cocoa, FL. Opaque root beer color with a small off-white head and decent retention. As expected, the yeast overpowers the dark malt flavor. At least it's less yeasty than a true Hefeweizen. Not bitter.
3.4A light brown body with a finger of head. Looks great. Aroma is barnyard hay and earth. Taste is darker malt, mild fruit, mild bitter. Texture is thinner and crisp. Enjoyable.

3.0Pours hazy dark amber, off-white lacing foam head. Banana and caramel in aroma and taste, normal beer. (Velp 202008)
3.6Pours hazy mahogany with a full, tan head. Aroma is roast, banana, clove and dried fruit. Taste is date and light toffee, moving to clove, banana and roast. Finish is date, banana and clove. Good hefe.
2.1Unmistakably a hefeweizen, even with its dark Marzen appearance, albeit more biscuit flavor from the malt than a Blue Moon for instance. Don’t like hefes and this one is no different, so wouldn’t order again. Could be decent with the right food pairing, but definitely not standalone
3.6Hazy brown-amber with a thick off-white head. Aroma is malt and fruit. Taste is malt, distant roast, more fruit and a very subtle bitterness.
3.3On tap at Berliner pours a translucent brown, creamy off white head. Nose has raisin and date, malt, bread, toffee, clove. Flavor has clove, banana, date, malt. Finishes sticky, off dry.
3.7In ellegnt ottle. Dark cola color with a nice thin beige head. Strong wheat malt aroma with notes of banana and caramel. It has a light sweetness upfront and a very smooth finish. Very enjoyable.
2.8Bottle 500 ml. Brown color, hazy, yellow foam. Aroma and taste: caramel, wheat, banana, light sweetness, a bit spicy.
3.6Sweet weissbier
3.2Bottle at home chasing styles from ivory tower. Light brown small foamy head. Nose is faint fruit and wheat. Tastes of light roast, plum, chestnut, wheaty. Watery palate. Touch bland.
2.7Optisch wunderbar, satter Schaum. In Nase und Trunk sehr malzig, süß, etwas pappig, Nelken. Geht schon.
4.0Sour on the tip of tongue. Citrus and yeast but banana-like. Like banana bread. Nice head and caramel color.
3.3Light citrus and wheat. Not a ton going on here but easy drinking at least. Light tangy end. Drank true German style wandering around the streets. Except it's in Tampa.
3.7Pours a brown color with decent retention. Moderate mouthfeel with a fantastic bready, darker roasted malted flavor with a touch of banana and brown sugar and plenty of caramel. Hops seemed quite low.
3.6Very nice wheat beer with just a mild roast that lends a nice mouthfeel. One of the better in the style. Freiberger Dresden
3.12 August 2018. At Salino, Bamberg. Cheers to Anke!
Pours hazy brown with a lasting, foamy, tan head; little lacing. Aroma of caramel, honey, baked banana, bubblegum, cake, plum, cookie dough, yeast, wheat, some clove. It tastes medium malty sweet, tones of banana, honey, bread & butter, and light spicy bitter, clove-like, a bit yeasty. Dryish, spicy finish, lingering yeast & bread, a bit peppery hoppy. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Plain good.
2.20,5 liter bottle. Nope, not that good. It's hard to make a decent weizen without the nasty aftertaste.
3.3Fläschla: Hazy, Deep chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized and stable creamy off-white head; moderate sweetish-sourish caramelly-bready nose with a slight touch of dried berries; mild to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, medium -bodied, pretty soft; mild bitter traces in the caramelly-sourish finish. Pleasant and well balanced...
3.4One more of the good german (dark) weiss beers. Good thick foam. Bread aroma, banana taste.
2.4Pours from the bottle deep brown with a stable white head, easytry fruity aroma, slightly fruity start with hop bitterness finish
2.72 finger fluffy foam. Brown-reddish color. Light, yeasty, a bit roasted aroma. Dark malts taste, sour, a bit fruity and watery. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation in the end.Okay.
3.6From old tasting notes. Cloudy light brown color. Thick creamy beige head. Earthy wheat malt aroma. Tangy bittersweet toasted malt flavor with yeasty undertones. Toasted wheat malt finish.
3.00.5 bottle @ home
Hazy, dark brown with a huge, white head. Some bananas and spices, caramel and a bit of syrup - not too heavy for a weizen. Sweet taste, quite malty, not particularly wheaty. Medium, creamy, average. Medium long finish. Overall, not particularly interesting.
