This French-style country ale is deep amber in color. With a toasty, sweet caramel start, it finishes with just enough hops to clean off the palate. Bon Appetit!

3.4My thanksgiving beer. Drier than expected, with a moderate bitterness, light caramel and grassy elements with a hint of bubblegum and weak phenols. Less interesting than I'd hoped. Appealing copper color.
4.0Muito boa
Cerveja levemente adocicada
3.5Smell - quite weak, bit of roast and maybe chocolate or caramel.
Foam - thin to medium thick, little watery feeling, but not really watery, little to no carbonation, almost no taste. Not huge yellow/amber white color.
Taste - little carbonation, generally sweet, but weak sweetness, little bitterness in back, and bit more in aftertaste, very drinkable and not bad.
Color - amber, clear
3.3Klares Bernstein mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, leicht süßlich, etwas Karamell, getreidig, leicht hopfig, süffig.
3.2another one which admin converted to private. i remember this being nothing special. I think it was smooth and well balanced. but it was simply and kinda watery for what it should be. drinkable for sure tho

3.4Not so much of an avangarde. Was great to drink and well brewed but not much special in it.

3.4Bottle @ KCBD18. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of caramel and mild touches of hops. Sweetish taste of caramel malt and yeast, with hints of dust and bitterish notes of hops. Sweetish, malty and fruity aftertaste with estery hints,
3.4Bottle at KCBD18. Citric and fruity aroma, perhaps a little cherry or something. Almost clear, shiny, dark red copper colour. Small off-white head. The flavour has a mild dark caramel note. A little vinous, faintly oxidised. Well-balanced.
3.8Gylden brun klar med lavt beige skum. Lukter sirup, gresskar, brent karamell og noe trevirke. Middels fylde. Lite bitterhet, noe brent karamell, pepper, svisker og gresskar. Middels lang.
3.9this is a really nice beer to drink after being outside on a good spring day. Goes well with bread, cheese, and egg plant parmesan. Nice aroma, deep amber color with a only slightly bitter after taste. This after taste blends well with the food! Would buy again.
3.6Had this on tap at a deep pan pizza restaurant. Rather enjoyed this beer not a lot of hop aroma but thats okay. Had enough flavour and went well with my pizza
2.933 cl. bottle. An amber coloured beer with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel, hops and a bitter finish.
3.512 ounce bottle purchased at Archer Liquors Midway-Chicago, IL for $1.80 Very good.
2.9(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep amber to chestnut colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Nutty and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel and subtle fruity accents. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a well-carbonated mf. Toasted malty taste with present caramel, some burn off-notes and berry-fruity accents; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with hints of booze shining through. Rather imperfect. 11.I.18
3.5Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.
3.5Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish copper with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Light grain forward notes. Rustic grains, rye and light biscuit malts. Toffee and malt on the palate. Clean and crisp....light peppery hops. Really enjoyable dinner beer.
2.6Sort of bitter. Does not finish smooth. Good color. At Shaw’s oyster bar in Chicago.
3.5There is something special about a sweet, malt-forward beer, that is light in color, and also crisp and dry. But I didn't love it... it left me wanting more farmhouse funk or something.
2.8Copenhagen 2/11 2017. 35,5 cl bottle from Ørsted Vin. Very graphic label in something resembling weird 1970 style patterns on brownish background with a strange whirl which is the brewery's symbol in the centre. Pours clear amber with small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. Aroma is not particularly strong. Fairly sweet. Sweet malts, candy and caramel. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is rather sweet with a sugary touch. Only rudimentary bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet, candylike and slightly sticky. Too much Candy Store for my taste.
2.2Poured from 12oz brown bottle into nonic pub glass, a crystal-clear orange amber colour with white foam, short-lived but left some lace. Aroma very grainy, grassy, mildly peppery kind of like a Pilsener plus very slight Belgian yeast spice. Flavour same but way too sticky sweet, and too hot fusel alcohols, like a gas station malt liquor. Medium body, high carbonation, syrupy aftertaste. Not sure what they were going for, but I didn't like it.
3.3Nice intro to the category - has all the characteristics in moderation. A little farmyard funk, a little wild, spicy yeast, a little sweetness, good body.
2.6(bottle) slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of powdered sugar and peaches, quite oxidized, with a hint of apricots and lots of syrup. flavour is mostly caramelized malts and burnt toffee, rather nondescript, with some notes of earth, ethanol and a light-bitter peppermint finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.
2.2Clear light brown with almost no head. Aroma is dusty malt, nutty syrup, alcoholic, hints of chocolate. Taste is more or less the same. Harsh and alcoholic. Not smooth. Nope.
3.312 fl.oz bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of yeast, mild sweet malt, caramel. Taste of caramelish malt, mild sweet malt, nuts, mild yeasty finish.
