1.4 Meg. Bb VHS. Half hhfhhsnfhbejnfjftjhhhhhggggcgggghhhhhhhg
3.1 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy bright orange with a small fading white head. Aroma is citric and wheaty some coriander and spice. Flavor has a bit more citric fruit, a little spice and a lot of wheat and graininess. Medium body and a sharp carbonation.
3.7 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 7/26/2014. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Slight bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and solid balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; a bit too much on the coriander, but it is not at an offensive level. Zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice witbier. Good robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
3.1 12 oz bottle from backlog notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have doughy, yeasty bread, citrus, light spice character, coriander, orange zest, flavor was more bland, probably won’t revisit this.
3.1 Nice wit, nothing special. Clean look aroma and taste, clove orange banana yeast. Usual business and quite refreshing
3.4 Bottle. Orange-banana, yeast, wheat malt, and coriander aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Orange, yeasty wheat malt, and clove flavor. Medium body, lively carbonation.
3.5 bottle - Pours hazy yellow-orange with a one finger white head. It has a yeasty, citrusy, spicy aroma. It tastes of sweet wheat malt, banana, and coriander. Light and refreshing, this is an enjoyable wit.
3.0 Non-exceptional white. Very mild, reasonable session beer to go with your pizza.
3.6 Hazy golden color. Small white head. Some lacing. Yeasty aroma. Malty taste. Like a sweeter Celis.
3.7 Slightly hazy golden coloured body with tints of orange and copper all with a thick, frothy five centimetre tall large-bubbled white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, bread, coriander seed, curacao and a hint of bubble gum and bananas - nice and mild, but fragrant for the softer notes. Light-bodied; Strong wheat flavours along with a big orange and curacao flavour with hints of honey and banana sweetness and a nice deep floral finish. Aftertaste shows some more body than expected with an earthy profile and a little twang of perfume and flowers. Overall, a nice wit with some good flavours, a solid profile and a good complexity, especially for the alcohol! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 01-November-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 04-May-2014.
2.9 Pours a hazy straw yellow with smallish white head and lots of lacing around the glass. Aroma is classic hefe-- citrus and coriander. Taste is mildly sweet, followed by sourness and strong yeasty aroma. Nothing on the finish. Kind of thin on the palate, but perhaps that’s standard for this style (?). Not really getting any oatiness in the malt. Overall ok, refreshing on a warm day, but not something I would seek out.
3.6 Crushed with Jakebra Pours a hay color with a neate haziness and a decent head/lace. The aroma is floral, a touch yeasty, with some coriander. It’s pleasant and inviting pleasantly leaving out the sun tan lotion factor. The flavor certainly features that coriander, but it’s also got a lot of nice things going on. For one it’s got a nice playfully floral flavor without ever coming across as sweet. It’ keeps the citrus flavor low, but allows a nice mild orange peel like bitterness to come across. It’s lightly tart & remarkably easy to drink. I dig it.
4.1 Standard white beer. Goes down easy and doesn’t have a bitter finish. Refreshing thirst quencher after a good sweat.
2.0 Another day, another bland American wit. Nothing to see here. Move on.. Stick with the real things from Belgium.
3.6 I had this at Global Brew. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Taste citrus, spice, summery. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.
4.5 Great flavor profile. Like the idea if this crisp beer as the spring starts to warm and thought turn to summer.
3.7 Pours a hazy straw golden with a fine suspended sediment and a fluffy eggshell head that hangs out a while and leaves some foamy lace. Nose involves hearty sourdough, lavender-lilac floral spice, light citrus, maybe a touch of vanilla. Hardly sweet, a light tartness, fairly bitter. Lighter medium body, softer carb, a touch oily, a bit watery, with a lengthy drying spicy finish. I typically can’t stand witbiers, but this one surprises me (because I like it) and doesn’t surprise me (because it’s Two Brothers). It’s refreshing and light, balanced like everything from Two Bros, the aroma isn’t overly spiced. It could be beefier body-wise, but I’m glad it isn’t, because that’s what’s making it work for me. Would be a good one for them to put in cans.
3.5 Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a thick frothy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is lemony with a clove like flavor from the Belgian yeast strain. Taste is mellow and sweet. With some kind of holiday spice mixed in and hops that somehow lead to a creamy like finish. Not bad.
3.5 Very pale yellow color. Cloudy, as it should be. Delightful aroma of lemon, orange, and coriander. Flavor is not quite as citrusy as the aroma. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear there is some smoke going on here. It’s a little different than most witbiers. More focus on the wheat and oats than it is the coriander and orange peel. Those are there, but subtle. I like it. Good balance, good taste, enough twist on the style to make it unique.
3.3 Bottled. Pale yellow. Pretty standard witte mix of coriander pepper and such. Not bad not amazing
3.6 Tap at the Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is wheat malt, floral hops and citrus peel. Flavor is spice and malt with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
3.1 Kroger mixed 6-pack. Overall a nice witbier but nothing crazy. I like that the spice was nice and light. Refreshing at first but got a little thick as it warmed. Fine
4.2 A very good Belgian-style beer. Very smooth, without the strong coriander that often comes with other brews of this style. Hints of orange. Very refreshing. I hope this "anniversary" brew becomes a permanent offering from Two Brothers.
3.7 Pale straw gold appearance. SMell is super orangey with a hint of vanilla. Flavor is sweet and succulent, lots of orange peeel. Crisp. It actually is great for the style.
3.2 Bottle. Pours slightly hazed gold with a thin white head. Light wheat and grains, coriander, hints of bubblegum, and light citric sweetness. Not bad.
2.7 Pours a hazy amber orange pour. Nose is yeasty and rather fruity, not that pleasant. Taste is wheat and grainy and yeasty, not for me , but I am not a wit head, so does not tickle my palate. Finish is predominant yeast and fruit. First and last time. quaff score 6 / 10
2.6 Pours a golden yellow with a white head and aroma of spices and yeast. Taste is of wheat, yeast, and light spices with a spicy finish. Very light brew, needs some more flavor
3.2 This actually a really nice and light beer. Wheaty and citrusy. A smooth Belgian wheay ale the goes nice on a warrrmmmmmm sunny april 30th day. I could drink this often
3.1 @Blind Pig-on tap-thin white-hazy pale yellow. A-clove, banana, lt grain. T-clove, banana (disappears as it warms), lt grain, yeast.
3.1 On tap @ Farmhouse. Lightly hazy medium gold. Light palate, wheaty with subtle coriander spice. Decent enough.
