3.4 Pours a clear dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is some pumpkin, but mostly spices reminiscent of fall. Taste is sweet with some vanilla but mostly spice and some pumpkin. Overall a decent pumpkin forward beer.
3.7 Cinnamon, nutmeg, and rum aroma.lightly hazed light brown liquid.taste is vanilla, pumpkin, spices, woody, rum finish, but the alcohols not overwhelming. I thought this would be a flavor bomb, but it's actually fairly balanced.
3.8 12oz can from Beer Run. Aromas of nutmeg, clove, light pumpkin. Clear brown with a fully lasting white head. Mostly dry, spicy. Medium-full bodied.
2.4 Pours dark amber with a thin white head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice, oily. Taste has intense pumpkin and herbal notes, slight kick to it. Palate has vanilla, dark rum, herbal notes with a oily mouthfeel. Sippin' beer.
2.8 Can from Beautiful Beers. Light hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, pumpkin, spicy and rum. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 100719
3.0 Can pour. Deep amber color. Aromas of molasses, cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavors of brown bread, vanilla, molasses and cinnamon.
2.8 Puszka. Bardzo ciemny, miedziany kolor. Piana średnia o kremowym kolorze, drobnych pęcherzach, opada bardzo szybko. Dziwny aromat rozgotowanych warzyw, dyni, korzennych przypraw, kardamonu, słodu i imbiru. W smaku raczej nieprzyjemna pustka....warzywa,przyprawy,trochę jak cola z imbirem. Cóż, ciekawostka...o fajnej i chwytliwej nazwie....
2.9 Lots of pumpkin and vegetable. Like a traditional ale - missing the bitter punch of an IPA. Spicy, bready notes in the slightly dank malt. Interesting.
3.7 on tap at The Bucks Club in Jamison after a round of golf - deep amber color. Typical pumpkin spice aroma and flavor. Pretty good.
3.4 Draft. Pours a medium, well retained, ivory head, with moderate lacing, over a clear brown (SRM 30) body......nose is rum, vanilla, spice, slight oak, mild malts, minimal pumpkin......taste is rum, vanilla, mild barrel tones, slight malt and spice, no hop, minimal pumpkin......mouth feel, medium light body, mild alcohol, mild carbonation. This is a pleasant rum and barrel toned beer with minimal pumpkin which makes it miss the S/H/V style but is otherwise drinkable. BJCP 6/3/8/4/5
3.1 Sampled from a can this beer poured an orange brown color with a huge creamy tan head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was clove, nutmeg, yeast and rum. The flavor was bitterish and a bit tart with vague mixed spices, rum and vanilla. Very long finish. Medium body.
2.3 My menu at mad mex just says Two Roads Roadsmary's, nothing else. Its a darker tap brew. Creamy head. Taste is not as pumpkin as anticipated and I'm glad of it. I don't like pumpky beers and I like this, what does it tell you? Actually, not bad! I think it smells a little like Coke! HAH!
3.6 vegetable and metal, pumpkin spice and then pumpkin, some pepper, rum, vanilla and wood.good smooth body. the alcohol competes.
3.3 Draft at the Dry Dock. Pours a mahogany brown with a quick dissipating buff head. Scents of vegetables and spice. Taste follows the nose pumpkin comes through with balance and cinnamon saves it from being to vegatal. I don’t endorse doing this seasonal. Keep the pumpkin at Starbucks.
3.8 $2.30 can, Wine Warehouse. Pours murky burnt orange with a soft beige head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, rum, pumpkin goo, vanilla. Flavor is lighter than the nose: pumpkin puree, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, light rum notes, black pepper. Not overly spiced and focuses on the actual pumpkin, but this is not an unspiced brew. Drinks smooth and creamy.
3.4 Draft at The Bards. Mostly clear dark ruby amber pour with a ring of beige foam. Heavy and malty. Modest pumpkin spice. Fainter notes of plum, molasses, cinnamon, currant, mandarin, dates, nutmeg, vanilla, clove, and black cherry. Darkly sweet but with a peppery finish.
3.4 Pours clear, dark amber with ruby tint and a two finger, light tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin and a hint of rum. Taste is light caramel and pumpkin, moving to cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Finish is light run notes. A good autumn beer.
3.6 Can from Rehills, Newcastle. Dark amber coloured with a very thin white head. It has a toffee, caramel and a cinnamon flavour with dried fruit and spiced fruity notes on the smooth, creamy finish. Good.
3.4 Boozy rum , cola aroma. Deep amber with white head. Highly carbonated with rum/woody sweetness, some pumpkin and a boozy finish. The over carbonation detracts a bit. Notes: on tap at Hops and Pie, GABF Week ‘16
3.5 Snallygaster 2017. Just sour pumpkin. Light spice, light sour earth. Thick. Meh.Dullsville, USA. 737315
3.3 Draft. earlier this year at Legions of MEtal fest. This brewery does not distribute to illinois yet they had this on draft... It was a decent pumpkin ale if i remember.
3.5 Deep amber brown with rimming beige head Aroma is fragrant spice like clove and cinnamon Flava is spice nutmeg clove and some notes of squash Feels light with bubbly fizz Finishes spicy notes of cloves
3.6 Pours copper with no head. Aroma is spiced pumpkin with hints of vanilla. Flavour is also spiced pumpkin and vanilla. Nice enough.
3.2 Clear deep amberish ruby with a thin off white cap. Suprisingly roasty aroma like charred wood and earthy pumpkin spices butting in. Bright earthy flavor with pumpkin gourd and herbal spices like nutmeg and allspice, very light vanilla, with woody notes of char and light spiced rum. Full and lingering and spiced and kinda a little much.
2.6 12 oz can, canned 7/27/17. Pours ruby amber with a medium fizzy off white head that retains fairly well and leaves little lacing. The aroma is sweet fruit and perfumey pumpkin spice. The flavor is sweet bready malt with fruit and some pumpkin spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Overall, an OK pumpkin beer.
3.1 citrus, herbs, golden, sparkling, white foam, lightly sour, light body, fizzy,
3.0 Bottle from Cork57 in Bethesda, MD. Nice bright chestnut pour with a large beige head. The aroma is typical pumpkin spice, vanilla, some rum. Flavor is lots of pie spice, not as much pumpkin, some rum -bal notes, falls a little flat though. Medium-bodied, force-carbed feel. Decent.
3.3 Pumpkin, allspice aroma. Clear copper, medium head. Pumpkin, allspice. Medium body, easy carbonation. No rum character.
3.4 Golden-amber. Sweetish, light bodied, with a spicy, woody note and some vanilla. On the palate, similar character. Balanced, though wouldn't know the barrel is rum, and it really doesn't come across as anything other than a pumpkin beer.
3.4 Draft at Coalhouse Pizza. Pours brown with a khaki head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has some spice rack and wood notes on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Kind of dull.
