"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers."

3.0Very decent for the style.
3.0Average, would get again
2.2Can. Clear golden color. Aroma: a bit hop aroma with apple. Taste: malty, medium body, a little watery, slightly bitter finish (alcohol-hoppy). Sad.
2.6This 500 ml can was picked up at a corner store in Canterbury, England, mostly because I’ve never seen a beer from Poland before. It pours a dark gold in color with a substantial, almost white head that settles promptly. It smells of grain and straw, your essential beer scent. The taste ticks up a bit from the nose. Malt, grain, white bread and water and perhaps the barest touch of sweetness. It has a decent mouthfeel for the style. A tolerably all right brew.
3.4Pours a Dixie ice cream off white head 2 fingers initially. Clean aroma of malt and hop. Slightest of streaming. Almost bitter first taste. Layered, not the usual mass market, more rare flavor and mouthfeel. A balanced veggie (think celery?) note. Head stays. Decent warmth. Certain that if I drank it in Poland with a plate of kielbasa it would be superb. Wet finish. Good beer.
1.8It's shite, not really much else to say. Doesn't taste of much, best that can be said is it's easy to drink, in the same way water is. Imagine a shite lager like fosters and make it taste of a bit less and it's this.
3.0It's got a nice flavour. Easy to drink. I could drink that all night. Easy.
2.0Tasted during the Christmas holidays with Niels. A package of overdue pilsners - a brief quality check.
2.2Tasted with dad along with a lot of other pilsners. More of a quality check of the beers, so im not gonna write much, as the pilsners are gonna be a lot like each other; cardboard and straw
3.7Another really good Polish beer. But make sure you buy the Polish imported version (obviously this info is for those who don't live in Poland, duh) cos there's a version that's brewed in the Netherlands which is a really poor imitation. They sell this imation Tyskie version in most stores (Lidl, Dunnes, Tesco, etc.). You'll know the real thing cos all the writing is in Polish. Try any Polonez for the real thing.
From what I understand there are various breweries in Poland that brew Tyskie, so the taste can be slightly different depending on the brewery. Likely due to the water for that region.
Anyway, back to the real thing, it's an easy drinkable beer. Get it cold and ideally on draught (alas, for me that's only when I'm in Poland). However, bottles are better than cans. Slightly tart, with a lingering cloying taste. Very little aroma that I can detect, which makes it easy drinking. Head disappears quickly. Another beer for drinking all evening. Try it.
3.3I really rate this beer as a something you could happily have all night, it isn't over powering and it doesn't taste bad at all. Good overall profile and good %
2.6500ml bottle at home. Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Nose of honey, table sugar, hay, washing up liquid. Flavour is honey malt, hay and grass, slight floral hop note. Medium carbonation.
3.0Robe blonde dorée, limpide et brillante. Mousse blanche crémeuse, tenue en pellicule. Arômes miel, céréales, fruits, fleurs blanches, notes agrumes. Goût sucré moyen, amertume légère. Texture fluide, un peu aqueuse. Carbonatation fine, moyennement abondante.
Correcte.
2.9Golden clear. Head fine and some retention.
Mildly hoppy aroma. Not much kick! Expected more!
Tastewise similar, fairly mild, dry, balanced with malts. Light bitter aftermath that stays.
Pretty inoffensive pale lager. Mouthfeel medium, light carb.
Doesn't taste too strong, not alcoholic taste. Ah, seems to have had ABV lowered since I last drank it!
2023 this tastes sweet!
2.3(bottle 0,5l) Overall: Meh. Another macro lager.
Aroma: Grainy, weak.
Appearance: Clear pale golden. Medium, white head.
Taste: Light sweet, sugary, grainy.
Palate: Medium body. Light bitter finish.
2.30,5l can from Krakow. Golden colour with good white head. Aroma malt and grass. Taste malt and little caramel.
1.9Thin aroma and taste of maltiness. Watery aftertaste. Lighter bitterness in the aftertaste. Not so good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.0Clear golden pour with a thin white head and some lacing ….. aroma of straw, grassy hops, grain and caramel malt ….. taste is of cereal/grain, caramel malt with a bit of straw and grassy hops ….. crisp and dry hopped on the back end ….. finish is of lightly bitter hops, caramel malts, and grassy hops …. Sessionable and nicely done for a lager
2.9Pours a clear golden color with white head. Light malt aroma and taste. Pretty up the middle for a lighter lager.
Notes: can from Poland, opened Jun ‘21
3.0Foamy off white head left a cover 9n s well carbonated pale amber coloured body.
Fruity, malt & cereal aroma.
Medium bodied smooth with a thinner lively back.
Malt, grain, light citrus & cereal tastes with a fruity finish.
Not too bad.
3.1Kolor złoty, klarowny. Piana biała, wysoka i trwała.
Wysycenie średnie do wysokiego.
Ogoleni zwykły lager nic specjalnego z kilkoma wadami
2.750cl Blik. Alc. 5% Vol. op het blik. Helder goudblond bier met wand klevende witte schuimkraag. Geur: redelijk neutraal, pilsmout, licht floraal. Smaak: moutzoet, ietwat karamel, heel klein bittertje. Medium koolzuurprikkel.
2.7Old rating from 2009 - 500ml bottle, 5.6 ABV, pours golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of lemon, grain, glucose, corn & hops. Moderate body. Light bitter finish
