3.9 Draft pour at the source. The beer is a clear brown with a beige head of foam. The aroma has roasty and caramel notes. Sweet caramel cake taste. Medium body and medium carbonation.
3.7 Tap @ Butchers Tears. Deep dark brown color. Caramel aroma and flavor with soft roast. Bready, milky. Sweet, but very tasty. Low on Carbon. Great beer.
4.2 Tydliga rostade toner. Fyllig utan att va söt. God, drick!
3.2 The beer is almost black and has a dense beige foam. It has a very thick coffee flavor. Very good beer special. Tested bottles, draft will be even more delicious.
4.2 Aromatic, roasted coffee and chokolate. Very tasty, sweet but balanced. Classic Tmavy, malty and tasteful
3.4 Určitě nejlepší české tmavé pivo umocněno historií tohoto podniku. Ale z hovna bič neupleteš a i tak to stále není nic úplně extra.
4.0 From tap. Murky dark brown, almost black. A lot of roasted malt, liquorice, some smoke. Malty sweetness, some dry bitterness. Light bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry malty finish. Definitely one of the best examples for this style!
3.7 400 ml. draft @ the source in Prague. Very dark brown almost going to black with a lacing mocha head. Nose is thin chicory herbal, grainy burned bread, coffee, mocha. Taste is chocolate, grainy, roasted, mocha, powdery, could be bit thicker but pleasant chocolate & chicory roast profile. Overall solid but not spectacular but good beer. People say that it has downhill, I cannot judge but this place has a cynical milk the tourists feel to it, I suppose ignorant tourists like me get what we deserve.
3.2 Pours a deep brown color with big tan head. Dark roast malt aroma. Sweet roast malt flavor. Notes: on tap the pub, Prague Oct ‘18
4.0 U Fleku Praga Wygląd: Barwa ciemna, przejrzysta z niewielką opalizacją. Piana beżowo - brązowawa zbudowana z drobnych i średni oczek, opada do ostatniej trwałej warstwy pozostawiając lacing na szkle. Aromat: Złożony, słodowy, biszkoptowy, przypiekana skórka chleba, tosty, odrobina karmelu i czekolady, nuty kawy z mlekiem/cappuccino.
3.4 Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown colored with a creamy beige head. Malty aroma of hay, caramel and Rye bread. Malty flavor of caramel and bread with notes of hops and roasted notes. Light roasted finish.
3.3 Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and caramel. Flavour is coffee, toffee, bread and roasted malts. Not the most complex beer but quite well balanced and refreshing. Good and slightly more hoppy finish. Quite enjoyable
3.7 Flekovský Tmavý Ležák 13 w zapachu kawa, mleko, palonosc, karmel. W smaku glownie kawa z mlekiem, nuty karmelowe, delikatnie palone, nieco kakao. Niska goryczka, piwo dosc delikatne w odbiorze nieco mleczne, szybko znika z kufla.
5.0 For me it is the taste of Prague itself. The beer is mild and sweet yet dark and rich and bitter. Never guessed it is 13%. The foam is strong and long lasting as cream.
4.0 On tap at the source in Prague. Black color, brownish foam. Nose: raw roast, grounded coffee, black cocoa. Mouth is amazing, it seems sipping a lager imperial stout, full of cocoa, easy, medium-high carbonation. Bitter roastiness, full. Great one.
4.5 Kran w praskim U Fleku, 400 ml. Aromat chlebowy, prażony czeski chmiel, lekki karmel. Średnie wysycenie do niskiego, ale zauważalne - wzmaga pijalność. Klasyka gatunku, polecam.
3.0 Aroma: roastier than expected; Appearance: dark brown with creamy offwhite head; Taste: starts malty and ends with some cracker; Overall: not bad.
3.3 Draft at the source. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, brown bread. Taste is roasted malt, brown bread, caramel, chocolate notes. Good.
3.2 Aromat ciemnego pieczywa, kawy, delikatna siarka. W smaku dość wytrawne, kawa, pieczywo.
3.3 Draught at U Fleku, Prague. Dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma medium malty (caramel, notes of chocolate and brown sugar), light hoppy. Flavor medium sweet, dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar and bitterness. Medium body, light carbonated.
3.5 Tap at U Fleku, Prague. A deep brown colour with a creamy off white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and slight molasses. Taste of chocolate, some caramel, slight molasses, a hint of brown sugar and subtle saaz hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, malty bitterness in the finish. Wrote short notes while at U Fleku in March 2016 so description is quite basic but this was unique and drinking it in a place like that was unforgettable.
4.1 On tap, brewery. Black colour with beige head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, nuts, a bit toffee and caramel. Some noble hops. Taste is roasted, coffee a bit sweet, but Not Too much. Roasted aftertaste. Well balanced. Good one.
3.0 Drak brown, tan foam. Aroma: cocoa beans, roasty, chocolate. Taste: light sour, light bitter, medium body, same as aroma with coffee sourness, bitter finish.
4.0 From tap at U Fleku. Very good Dark / Tmavy, always worth having one, for its history alone
3.0 6-3-6-3-12 On tap @ U Fleku, Prague. Pours dark brown, with a big creamy head. Aroma is dark roasted malts, with bread and cocoa notes. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is dark malts, with bread, cocoa and toffee. Nice, balanced dark lager, but nothing really exciting.
3.6 Tap @ U Fleku. Pours black with a off white head. Aroma of toffee, licorice, dried fruits, chewy caramel, toasty. Tat is rather sweet loads of licorice, dried fruits, Bitter roast.
3.8 From tap at the brewpub. A brown coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel, chocolate and with a toasted finish.
3.5 Tap at U-Fleku, Prague. Deep black in the glass, huge head. Mild-malty aroma. Starts malty and dry, modest roasty, not too intense. Light smokey hints. Finish warming-malty, soft-malty, well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice experience at this interesting place!
3.5 Pleasant aroma of caramel and bread. Small beige head disappearing to thin layer with great lacing. Dark brown colour. Great taste of roasted malts with well-balanced caramel sweetness. Appropriate carbonation makes it even more drinkable.
3.8 On tap, @U Fleků, Praga. Viaje 03/2017 Color negro corona de espuma beige, aromas torrefactos, sabor tostado con notas a cafe, cuerpo ligero, agradable de beber.
