4.1 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a thick and frothy white head. Citrus and mango in the nose. Moderate and soft bitterness with some sweetness and a medium aftertaste. A very nice and easy going beer.
3.8 Tap@Ørsted. Pours almost clear golden with lazing offwhite head. Aroma has light malt, biscuit and notes of caramel and is quite fruity with tropical fruits and citrus. Taste is semi-sweet malty with biscuit and notes of caramel and hoppy with citrus and tropical fruits. Finish is very well balanced sweet, fruity and hoppy with dry end.
1.2 Boring IPA, you can't smell the hops and it isn't as refreshing as it could be.
3.5 Draught at the Ihku, Tampere, Finland. Cloudy orangey golden color with a small off-white head. Fruity hops, tangerine, mild bitterness and sweetness in the aroma. The flavor is candy hops, sweetness, mild bitterness and sweetish malt. Not bad.
3.4 many thanks to Fonefan for this bottle! Malty and slightly grainy beginning. Fresh floral hops with earthy hints. Nice round, earthy with pine.
3.5 Flaska storstenshöjden. Orange kulör. Doft av citrus, barr och hö. Maltig smak med hög beska. Barr, citrus och lite honung.
2.8 33 cl. flaske. 5,9 %. Mørk gylden farve med citrus smag. Ikke lige min kop the.
3.7 Pours a slightly hazy brownish orange with a white head that settles to a film. At 4 weeks old this smells fresh and vibrant with good mango and papaya, a light resinous whiff also. As good a nose as one could wish for in a $3 supermarket beer. Very nice nose. The taste does deliver nice hops but It’s less fruity than the nose and with a malty almost metallic bitterness in the finish. Still pretty refreshing and drinkable.
3.4 L: -pours a cloudy golden-orange with a medium, frothy, white head -medium to high carbonation visible S: -orange,lemon,mango,passionfruit,resin,basil,honey T: -orange zest, resin, toasty -medium bitterniss for the style F: -light to medium body -medium carbonation O: Just not complex enough, especially in the Taste.
3.6 Bottle@ät, Nyköping. Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has citrus, pine and resin. Taste is malty with quite long bitter and fairly dry aftertaste. Flavors of pine, needles, citrus and other fruits.
3.8 Bottle in wine glass. Amazing fruity aroma with a nice semi-thick viscosity. A bit too try and stiff for my taste. But a good ipa nonetheless.
3.1 330 ml bottle, found during an archeological excavation in my beer "cellar". BB date 02.05.14. From Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.9%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Surprisingly fresh and pleasant aroma, notes of citrus (incl orange marmalade) and tropical fruits, also some caramel. Hoppy flavour on a background of crystal malts, stronger notes of pine needles than fruits.
3.4 Hazy orange body. Grainy. Deep lemony aroma with malts. Alcohol caramel. The yellow kind. Harsh malts and yeast.
2.8 Great nose and appearance with a nice golden colour. The taste is fine, but reminds me a bit of raw/unripe grapefruit.
3.4 Bottle@Guren with Allan. Golden haze. Two finger foam. Good citrus floral tropisk notes. Drybitter. Not Lingering. Fine. Not super fresh hops used. ?? Still delicious.
3.8 Fresh from the tap at Hopfenreich. Golden-amber in the glass with fine white foam. Citrus-fruity notes in the nose. In the mouth decent hops-bitterness and at least it’s only watery.
3.4 Pours a hazy orange amber colour with a frothy white head. A strong citrus aroma, pink grapefruit. A light fruity sweetness combined with citrus hop bitterness, some peppery spiciness and a touch of pine in the finish.
Bastante buena. Para repetir.
3.3 (Ugly Duck Amarillo & Citra IPA) Bottle 330 ml from bursprak, thanks Erik! Served into a shaker, ABV 5.9% Deep orange coloured body, clear, with a huge and thick off-white head on top, with pretty good retention. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, grapefruit, orange, some biscuit. Taste follows, more caramel malts now, again citrus and a bit of orange but kind of muted, grass. Medium thin body, carbonation on the low side. Decent enough.
3.6 Draft. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon and pine. Flavour seems a bit off, like the hops are over-fusioned. Pine, citrus peel, malt. Unbalanced. 7-3-5-2-7 total 2.4 Bottle. Much better. Aroma of tangerine, citrus, pleasant hops, malty. Flavour is the same with a nice balanced, moderate, hoppy finish. Oily feel, however with a moderate dry finish. 7-3-8-4-14 total 3,6
3.5 Pours slightly cloudy copper. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, and pine. Taste is hoppy, citrus and pine, nice bitterness. Slight malt roastiness.
3.9 Draught at KaederKold in Barcelona. Amber pour with a big frothy head. Aroma has lots odf citrus and pine. Very bitter with the amarillo hops dominating.
3.9 Citrus, grapefruit aroma. Almost sweaty armpits though not unpleasant. Pours golden with a small head. Lot’s of grapefruit in taste, very bitter and long. Feels somewhat thin and flat. Long after taste. I quite like this.
2.9 My third attempt at this beer. This time apparently only a couple of weeks old. Hazy amber with a medium head. Aroma had hints of citra and esters. Flavor came out quite harsh bearing notes from hard brewing water. Again esters present and an unpleasant astringent bitterness. Hops are not convincing and seemingly old. I’m not impressed...
3.5 Fad.
3.7 Bottle 33cl. Cloudy orange with an off white head. Nice aroma of fresh hops. Taste: not a rich body but very nice with plenty of hops followed with a bitter long finish.
4.1 1/2 pint on tap @ One Pint Pub. Pours hazy orange with a high head. Aroma is some malts with loads of fresh picked hops. Flavor is slightly creamy malts, tropical fruits, pine and fresh hops. Exquisite.
3.7 330ml bottle at the Indslev Bryggeri. The ale poured a clear Amber color with a white frothy head and lacing. This was tasted the brewery after a complete tour and meeting most of the staff. Very nicely crafted with a peachy-grapefruit aroma. The taste was complex with two hops competing for dominance. The ale has a medium body with soft carbonation. This a beer to seek out.
