A small bottle from Beer Ammo in Gong Guan. Aroma: pain au chocolat. Appearance: practically black, generous creamy tan head. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, soft carbonation, extremely long and complex, malty finish. Taste: predominantly medium-bitter; chocolate, coffee, no orange to speak of. Smoky, boozy, sweet notes at the finish provide balance. A very satisfying beverage.
Black body with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts dark caramel. Taste is malts booze roasted malts caramel chocolate booze. Aftertaste is nice balanced with some alcohol in the background.
Birra interessante. Al primo sorso mi ha avvolto il dolce che poi è stato ben smorzato dall'amaro nel finale di lunga persistenza, pure troppo luppolata. L'alcool di sente troppo a mio avviso e da fastidio. Da migliorare. Orange and coffee non pervenuti
Very dark pour with a thin tan layer on top. Dark malts, milkchocolate for aroma but not overwhelming. Very faint and hard to pinpoint. Taste is better than the aroma. Over medium bitter sweet. Just over medium body with medium fizz. Getting a hint of smokiness after warming up. Would've liked a more outspoken smell, but still not bad.

Black body, ruby edges, holds a firm half inch of tan cream.
Doesn't give away too much on the nose - rich roastiness, biscuit & toast, coffee grinds, dried orange peel.
Silky texture, big and fat and lovely, smooth carbonation - quite the joy in the mouth.
Mmmm just a lovely smooth big luscious...thing... on the palate - plenty of sweet black coffee, toasted oats, biscuits and savoury hops. Fairly upfront bitterness, a welcoming whack of booze, possibly a touch of smokiness, finishes long and inviting.
A mix of sweet and savoury; not a huge beer, flavours are very unique and work in an odd way.
Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en zoet met iets van rook en koffie. Update 20-12-2020: mogelijk dat er bij mijn eerdere beoordeling iets niet goed was. Inmiddels opnieuw gedronken en moet zeggen dat dit toch echt een heel goed bier is, smaak is vol en warm met een heel fijne kerst kruidensmaak.
Tap(Pinta, Wrocław) Czarne z całkiem długo utrzymująca się pianą. W aromacie lekko piernikowo ale niestety wychodzi alkohol. W smaku alkohol z lekkimi piernikami. Chciałbym myśleć że to wina zbyt niskiej temperatury, ale szału nie ma.
On tap at the Bolton. Winelike with a rim. Scent is raisins and slightly stinky. Taste is lovely raisins and mild buttery caramel. A bit sticky. Very good beer.
Verde. Toques de levadura en aroma. Alcohol. No muy agradable. Se perciben la piel de naranja y el café. De fondo. Verde. Alcohol fusel/superior por mala fermentación o poca guarda.

On tap at Foeders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, light cocoa, espresso, and a hint of orange peel. Flavour brings out orange peel, espresso, cocoa and roast. This really opens up the more you drink. Lovely stuff.
Bottle in 2018. Candied orange zest, dark chocolate, fresh coffee, lactose countering the roast, sweet, thick and creamy texture, subtle vanilla, licorice with a licorice-oriented bitterness. Superb.
Nous ne sommes pas ici à proprement parlé sur une bière de Noël. Le brasseur nous indique d'ailleurs Orange & Coffee Oatmeal Stout, ce qu'est cette Uiltje. Pour l'hiver, elle réchauffe cependant avec un alcool à 10 % faisant même davantage sur des accents de gin, une excellente présence en bouche, une texture dense et suave et un sucre bien présent mais malheureusement trop présent. Nous avons donc à la fois des déséquilibres à la fois de structure mais également aromatique, le cocktail n'étant pas sur une alliance parfaite. En verre, nous sommes sur un noir total avec une fine mousse brune. Le nez est sur le chocolat, le café et l'orange. A la dégustation, on ne peut que saluer les arômes pleins. Sur l'attaque du poivre se fait ressentir en complément du chocolat, du café et de l'orange. En deuxième bouche, des arômes herbacés, pas forcément à propos s'invitent à la fête. Une pointe pimentée est également présente. L’arrière-bouche est pour sa part un peu plus amère, conférant un peu de fraîcheur, nécessaire avec le sucre trop présent. Sur le final, long, l'alcool prend position avec des arômes de gin. Pas de quoi mettre le feu à son sapin tout de même.
Aroma of vomit and ash
Head is very sweet, the beer much less so somehow. It's ashy, dark, roasted and somehow fermented, medium carbonation, medium thickness
Bottle at a tasting. Brown, huge head. Prunes, caramel, roasted, coffee aromas. Sweet, ash, chocolate, bitter coffee, a bit green. Medium-bodied, high carbonation. Unbalanced.
At at tasting, medium bubbly light mocha head, very dark brown color with red taints, aroma of wood, whiff of orange zest and charred wood, sweet woody flavor with some coal, dark chocolate, a bit oxidized and some alcohol coming in. Not too good, a bit oxidized

Appearance - dark brown to black with some red chinks. Thin lacing.
Nose - dank upfront and then dried fruits probably raisin.
Taste - smoke is now much evident. Burnt raisin and fruitcake generally. Is there chilli in this? Not hot spice but a taste of chilli evident.
Palate - medium bodied at least. Dry and crunchy through middle and finish.
Overall - very interesting on the taste.
Aroma has dark malts, some coffee some caramel but with a boozy whiff. Pours dark brown almost black with tan lace. Taste is medium sweet to lightly bitter with some alcohol heat building. Palate is medium bodied, sticky feel, soft to average carbonation, and an alcoholic finish. Slightly disappointed because I had previously tasted the excellent Apfelstrudel, but it is still a good stout, just below excellent.
Color casi negro, casi opaca, sin turbiedad. Espuma beige de casi dos dedos de espesor y excelente retención. Aroma a maltas tostadas, café, licor, algo de vainilla y ligera miel, más ligeramente aún noto algo de piel de naranja, aunque no sé si será por la sugestión. Sabor en esa línea, aunque apenas sin vainilla ni miel, el riquísimo café entra dulce y pasa dejando más amargor y calidez alcohólica, final ligeramente amargo y seco, al atemperar aparecen claramente regaliz y frutos secos, sobre todo avellanas. Textura oleosa. Carbonatación baja.
Fad. Sortbrun med mokkabrunt skumhoved duften er lækker kaffe. Rigtig lækker kaffestout
Pours Black with No head. Massive peat, hardly anything beneath. Roast, spices..bitter alcoholic finish.
330ml bottle at a private tasting at za razBIRAchi. Pours opaque with a fast-settling finely frothy head, not a lot of lacing and no visible rising carbonation. Very dark brown in colour. On the nose, stunning intense chocolate, coffee and vanilla. In the mouth, strong vanilla flavours with coffee and chocolate in the background, thick texture strong alcohol presence, sweetness throughout, quite high bitterness that kicks in quickly, keeping it clean and crisp all the way to the long flavoursome finish. Overall, an intensely flavoured and exquisitely balanced Imperial Stout.
Piwo średnio intensywne, dużo kakao i czekolady, z pomarańczami wyraźniejszymi w aromacie. Kawa w tle. Alkohol wyczuwalny.

Yet this is what I call a proper Xmas beer. Warming alcohol, not overspiced. Indeed a true cold day special. Sadly I cannot comment on aroma due to serious case of man flu. But tastes rather impressive. Balancing between so-so and rock-n-roll. I'm sure I like it, really looking forward to remaining IS I have down in the basement
Tap @ Little Delirium Café, Amsterdam I 2019. Redelijk volle smaak. Proef naast de gebrande mout een kruidige Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Lol Maar met sinaasappel schilletje. Per slot blijft het Sinterklaas. Verder koffie, hint van chocola en zoals gezegd gebrande mout. Achterin zit zelfs nog een licht zuurtje licht. Stevig biertje met een donkere olieachtige structuur, weinig koolzuur en een bruine schuimkraag. Vrij stevige bitter en droog zodat de kerstboom lekker kan fikken. ;-) Geur is echt een sterk punt van deze stout met zijn volle gebrand koffie stout geur. Origineel glas.
Flesje thuis gedronken. Diep donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van pruimen en koffie. Smaak is koffieachtig en ook fruitig. Nasmaak met een beetje pit.
The orange peel flavour in this stout is very present. Its a cool touch, but in the aftertaste maybe a bit too much
