3.6 Appearance: Deep, dark brown. Clear. Nice amount of off-white head. Aroma: Ripe fruits, bananas. Wheat. Taste: Wheat, medium malt, ripe fruits, bananas. Nice. Bought: Wittich, 500 ml, CHF 2.40 Info: 9/4-2020, BB: 5/6-2020
2.8 Dark colour. Light aroma of banana, herbs and yeast. A little sour aroma.
3.2 8/10/2019. Bottle at Mercure Hotel München Neuperlach Süd. Pours hazy mid amber brown with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, wheat, banana cake and dried fruit. Quite heavy sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation.
Fgr
3.8 Improved by drinking on a boat in Munich
3.3 Jaettu pullo veljeni kanssa, mukava juoda, kun sää on hyvä. Suosittelisin sitä!
3.4 Pretty standard example, a little more body and full complex flavour would do it well, it's almost as if they're holding back a bit instead of trying to make it great. d&S Dresden
4.2 Tap at Unertl in Haag. Pours hazy amber with a creamy foam. Banana, cloves and caramel with a pleasant smokiness.
Hindamiseks teen vaid ticki.
4.6 One of the best weat beers available. My go-to while visiting Munich.
3.5 Elég korrekt kis barna búza, míg a többiek kávét szlopálnak, addig én elküldöm ezt
3.0 Op het etiket staat Weissbier, maar het heeft de kleur van troebele cola. Smaak daarentegen is best oké, fruitig, karamel en een rokerige nasmaak.
2.3 Bottle shared at a tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks Erzengel for the bottle! Hazy honey amber. Sourish, apple vinegar aroma, sourish, sweetish, apple and bun taste. Medium body, sourish finish with a plastic aftertaste.
3.3 Farbe: rotbraun. Schaum: so lala Nase: eher erdig trocken Geschmack: feinperlig, im Nachgeschmack Banane, dazwischen erdiger Weizen. Cremiger Abgang.
2.0 Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks kerenmk. Cloudy deep amber-brown. Infected, olives, vegetables, yeast, some fruitiness, sweet, light tartness, medium-bodied. Infected.
1.6 At the Dancing Camel, Pours brown and hazy with a small head, aroma of oxidation, cabbage, flavor is sour with cauliflower, infected, sweet, pretty bad, light bodied
3.1 0.5l bottle from getränkemarkt in münchen. pours a hazy chestnut with a medium off-white head. isn't this a dunkelweizen? aroma of banana and cloves, a hint of smoke. flavour of toffee, banana, grass, yeast. sessionable.
3.6 500ml bottle (thanks Viil). Clear dark brown color. Medium size, thick tan head, stays. Sweetish, herbal, banana, wheaty, proteins in aroma. Herbal, very mild roast, spicy hops, caramel, wheaty in taste. Nice bready wheat, caramel and herbal spicy hops in aftertaste. Bit too fizzy carbonation. Love the hops. Very solid brew.
3.1 Medium foam, a colour with a tendency to mild brown. A smell of traditional Weizen with toffee, clove, hay, roasted bread. A beet sweet, yeasty, grainy taste. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, long finish and bit bitter. I would say that beer is more like Dunkelweizen, but still worth to try.
3.7 Bottle from Southwick Brewhouse. Pleasant dark brown weissbier with lots of sediment
3.2 From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
3.1 500 ml bottle. Chocolate brown colour with Weißbier typical head. Earthy, a bit banana, malt, slightly acidic. Mild taste, no bitterness. Soft carbonated, medium bodied. Estery finish. Creamy texture. Look and taste of Dunkelweizen. I expected a bit more, but still not bad. Don’t understand why it is classified as Hefeweizen though.
4.2 Bottle from Getranke Oase, Munich. Surprisingly dark, seems more like a dunkelweiss. Huge head. Aroma is toasty malts, banana and clove. Slight smokiness to it, which is nice. Banana character is also dominant, a little ripe. Palate is still smoky or at least burned toast, but I really like Bamberger beers, so it's enjoyable. A bit of a pleasant surprise this one! Smoky malts and that classic banana character are a great combo. I like it a lot.
3.4 Bottle at work thanks to Johannes. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Light toffee and banana nose. Taste is similar. Picks up a bit when we swirl the bottle for the yeasty dregs.
4.0 This is a Weißbier that has a dark color but it isn't as malty as dunkeles Weißbier. It tastes like normal Weißbier but has a stronger taste. it reminds me of Schneider original tap7
3.8 Niska piana ale dlugo sie utrzymuje. Metne dosc ciemne, wyglada ladnie. Kwaskowe, czuc pszenice. Malo intensywny aromat, ale niczym nie odpycha. Bardzo przyjemne piwo.
2.2 0,5l Flasche. Braun trübes Weissbier, hoher luftiger Schaum. Wenig Aroma. Seltsame Säure? Der Geschmack ist besser. Vollmundiges Brot und Weizen Aroma. Etwas Metall. Für mich leider enttäuschend.
3.2 0.5 l bottle from ’P&M Getränke’, best before December 2017. Hazy, dark brownish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of overripe banana, cloves, nuts and hints of cinnamon. Slightly sweetish, malty, moderately yeasty-spicy and a little roasty taste of overripe banana, cloves, nuts, toasted bread and hints of chocolate, followed by a short, minimally bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy, slightly roasty and a little sourish finish. Almost medium-bodied, very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite nice, well-drinkable, not very sophisticated though.
