4.3 Lots of smoke when cap off. Yeasty nose. Hazy dusty yellow pour. Tiny bubbles form the head with a slippery lacing. Depth of exotic fruit flavors fresh aroma. Not hoppy but on the sweeter side of taste. Surprising effervescence on the tongue and palate, the taste buds awaken to “alert”. Tingling mouthfeel. Balanced and at the top of the Brewers masterwork. The bottle refermentation is captured and released in a burp. Spot on quick strike of warming from the generous ABV. World class just like the first time tried as with each successive tasting, months later.
3.9 Smooth, strong, sweet, fruity, spicy, rich, dry
2.6 Pours a little hazy amber with lots of carbonation and big light bubbly head Very sweet, somewhat dank aroma. More flavorful than I expected. The spice is a plus and the sour ending not as much. Very carbonated on the tongue. Not an expert on trippels, but this is both ok and not a repeat buy.
2.9 Hazy golden color. Expansive white head. Grassy and hoppy on the nose. Full mouthfeel to this one. Kind of matted on the flavor. Something that lingers on the finish is off-putting. I haven't had a ton of trippels so that might be something I'm not used to. However, I've had at least a couple others and this one would fall as my least favorite out of those. The flavors are uninteresting to me. A bit of spice, maybe a bit of honey. Pass on another.
3.5 Better during lunch than dinner. Good for a lighter beer. DiCiccos.
3.5 Bottle fermented; brewed with spices: Bottled 3/2020 & consumed 1/22/21: Nose is grassy with a lt. gold hue and white lacy head; lt. to med. mouthfeel with medium carbonation; taste is bitter honey (from the spices) & melon; finish is dry, but has some salaciousness retaining a grassiness.
2.0 Not my first belgian Triple, but not my favorite. It kinda reminds me of rubber...
0.6 Not a fan of Belgian ales
3.7 Golden color with white head. Sweet aroma but very well balanced and not sweet. The alcohol will sneak up on you with this one as it is so smooth.
4.0 12 oz bottle, poured cloudy honey color with large white head. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Spicy yeasty aroma. Coriander, lemon, dried fruit taste and mild peppery finish.
3.9 Robe orangée, voilée, peu scintillante, effervescence minimale. Modeste mousse blanche temporaire.
5.0 Simply fantastic
4.0 Bottle at Old Chicago, Oakview. I ordered Megadeath À Tout Le Monde because I hadn’t seen it in Omaha before and got this instead. In the end this was a really good mistake. Poured hazy bright golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, clove, coriander, orange, fruit. Taste was sweet, yeast, coriander, orange, fruity, citrus, banana.
3.8 341 ml. bottle poured into a Trappist glass. Hazy golden amber colour with a dense lasting white head. Sweet aroma with yeasts, peaches, orange peel, spicy notes. Some tropical fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a lively carbonation. Correct for the style. Drying rich fruity finish with yeasts. Nice Tripel - almost as good as the Belgian originals.
4.6 Amazing tripel
3.7 Hazy, orange-yellow color, modest head. Firm, bit heavy triple smell. Herbal notes. Balanced taste. Herbs. Slighlty peppery. Warming alcoholic. Mild hops. Complex. Not a typical Belgian style triple - it doesn't reach the level of the top Belgian triples, but it's quite good though.
5.0 Absolutely nails the style, and sits squarely in the crosshairs of affordability and excellence, of which it is a sublime example. The best Belgian tripel not made in Belgium; no higher compliment possible. Try this; you can't go wrong.
3.4 34,1 cl fles. Wazig blond bier met wit schuim. Geur: boter, klein zuurtje, mout, gist, granen, ietwat citrus. Smaak: licht zoet, zoete appel. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: wat gistkarakter, licht zoet.
4.7 Nice long-lasting fine head. Slightly malty, but great tasting Belgian triple.
3.6 Good beer sweet but of alcohol loop in the throat but not harsh very tastey wit beer
4.4 Color naranja, medianamente turbia, translúcida. Espuma blanca de tres dedos de espesor y excelente retención. Aroma a cereal, heno, levadura, piel de naranja amarga, notas especiadas. Sabor a cereal, naranja amarga, levadura, miel, ligero polvo, final largo y seco, de amargor herbal y especiado. Textura acuosa. Carbonatación media. Pide trago largo y devuelve placer intenso.
3.3 Un classique de jeunesse
3.4 12 ounce bottle in Kent Ohio. Smells sweet and yeasty. Cloudy and carbonated deep yellow. Medium sized white head. Taste light, sweet and yeasty. Pretty smooth. Light alcohol aftertaste. End up costing 3 dollars for this bottle. Good beer. Cheers!
3.8 12oz bottle from City Beer Store, San Francisco, CA and drunk on 31/05/2008. A superb tripel, just like most of their output. Really nailed the style. I would have absolutely thought I was drinking a really established Belgian beer.
4.4 A clear orange-amber body with a profusion of bubbles rising to a thick, creamy white head with excellent retention. The head sags a bit below an outside ridge as it recedes. As you drink, it leaves spots, strings and sheets of lacing. (The final drops from the bottle send columns of dark brown down through the beer, becoming smokey sheets wafting through the beer.) Great looking beer. Aroma is fruit and spice. Ripe pears, cloves, hints of banana, bubblegum. Smooth and substantial body, accented by the carbonation dancing on the tongue. The mixture of fruit flavors and spices dominate the taste. Ripe pears, apricot, clove, pepper, banana. A bit of funkiness. A wonderful, tasty, complexity of flavors swirling around above a bready sweet malt foundation. The finish is slightly thick and semi-sweet. Rich, elaborate, sophisticated, and wonderfully multifarious. Overall, this is a great beer. The best Belgian Tripel-style I've had to date.
4.3 Very good beer
