3.0Pour is a clear blonde with a large white head. Aroma is sweet malt and a little paper. Flavor is a grainy but sweet malt and the finish is a very slight bitterness and a little paper. Another beer that is probably older then the date on the can says.
3.2Costco Advent Calendar. Medium gold with a large off-white head. Sweet malts, light caramel nose. Sweet malt, light roast, brown leaf. Too sweet, but drinkable... or we shall see.
Eindigt lekker hoppig bitter.
2.7Uit de fles. Ruikt zoetig, koper. Smaakt zoetig, mwa. Dankzij de mini golf in lofer aardig.
3.3Auf Berchtesgarden ist Verlass! Alpenstoff gerne wieder...
3.4Solider Alpenstoff
2.7Beautiful frothy white head and great golden clarity. Mild straw, low caramel, and lite lemon aroma. Medium bodied, watery, and minimal hop character.
4.00.5 liter can. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a white head. The aroma is clean and of sweet malt. The flavor is also clean with a malty backbone, no hop oil and moderate hop bitterness. This is a typical German Helles Lagerbier. Great for drinking out of one liter mugs, but not very eventful.
3.2Aussehen: helles klares Bernstein, weiße niedrige mischporige krone, gut carbonisiert
Aroma: Getreide, hefig, gering malzig
Antrunk: getreidig
Midtrunk: minimal Herb
Nachgang: leichte herbe,
Mundgefühl: leichter geschmeidig Körper mit flüchtigen unaufdringlichen geschmack
Fazit: leichtes geschmeidiges Helles. Nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig .
3.0Clear amber color with a tall white head. Grassy, grainy malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor; lightly bready and grainy. Mildly metallic and bitter aftertaste. Smooth, medium bodied feel.
3.2Not bad
3.2Espuma blanca que permanece bien, color amarillo con tonos dorados con mucha burbuja brotando constantemente, ligero aroma lupulado en nariz, sabor con notas lupuladas y maltosas con final seco
3.0Typical hells
3.9Taste: Sourdough bread, crisp bright hops, crystal malts, dry, non-sweet, clean finish. Bright floral bready nose. Amber/gold hue, clear, tall foamy head some lace. Medium body. Balanced lager would pair well with salty snacks.
4.0Mild, Süffig, fast wie Kölsch
3.4Can. 2020 Costco Advent Calendar. Day 17. Poured clear light amber with a white head. Aroma was herbal, grains. Taste was sweet, sweet grain, malts, bready, buttery sweet finish. Not bad.
2.7Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Grain and light toasted malt aroma. Grain and grass flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Grain and grass linger with light mineral and light malt.
3.7Half liter can, 12/18/20, #17 from the Costco advent calendar. Orange with a slight haze. Large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grass, leaves, pale malt, a hint of citrus. Taste is bready malt, white bread, citrus, leaves. Medium bodied, crisp. Nice.
2.5Clear pale golden colour, basically no head. Aroma is very flat with some grains and herbs. Sweet taste.
2.8Crystal clear golden and light copper coloured tint with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall, just off-white head that leaves a nice small lace on the die of the glass. Aroma of crisp grain and light grass notes with a bite of flowers, light caster sugar and a very small amount of fruitiness shows through, but a fairly understated malt note dominates. Light-bodied; Strong fresh-cut grass flavours dominate with a hearty dose of deep grain, some dry yeast and breadiness along with a soft sweetness from some fruits and a mild nutty and rustic profile towards the end. Aftertaste shows some grain, a lot of crisp yeast and bready flavours along with some nice, but relatively subdued sweetness, mainly from caster sugar, but also from a tiny dose of fruits. Overall, a lot of dry, herbal and grassy notes throughout with some yeast, caster sugar and light fruity notes do come through with a bitterness and pungent flavour that makes this seem stronger than it actually is. A nice enough beer, but not worth trying to find if you are in Western Europe at all. I sampled this 50 cL can, from Day #17 of the Costco 2020 Advent Calendar, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia sampled at my house here in Washington on 17-December-2020.
2.9Grain and some mercury, buttery type aroma. Golden pour with fluffy head. Somewhat crisp, but there have been better helleses (is that how you pluralize it) in this advent calendar. Can on day 17.
2.8500 ml can purchased as part of the 2020 Costco Advent Calendar at the Costco in Overland Park, Kansas. Exp 2022/05 printed on the bottom of the can. The pour is a clear golden yellow with a foamy one inch white head. The aroma is metallic, soft toast and some honey. The taste is straw, honey, a hint of floral and a dry finish with a touch of the metallic character from the nose. The palate is light to medium bodied with low carbonation and a flattish metallic finish.
2.8Clear Golde beer, Very tiny head. A bit sweet and a bit metalic (stale hops?) Unfortunately the golden medal does not transform this beer in a superbeer.
2.7Bottle 0,33 ltr: Clear golden coloured brew with an metallic sweet bitter taste, some hints of caramel.
2.9Clear golden colour, white foam. Medium sweet, some maltiness, very light metallic. Ok.
3.1Beer with yellow color, clear aspect, soft bitterness, average carbonized, low volume of foam on top, (shared a 33cl bottle beer with PG, bought at "REWE Center", Ingolstadt, DE #1144)(#199 DE)(#106 Bavaria).
2.5Clear golden with a decent white head. Grainy aroma. Taste is some fruit and grain, although not very intense OK.
2.50,33 l. Bottle. Golden color with white head. Malt and floral aroma. Herbal and floral taste.
3.2Bottle 0,33L. Clear golden color with average big, frothy white head. Aroma of malt, floral hops and honey. Taste is light sweet and malty with toasty notes and some light bitternes in average lasting aftertaste. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Quite good, but in my opinion it needs a bit more of bitternes at the end.
