Ursus Black

Ursus Black

2.4 Aromat: spalony, troche wodnisty, lekko brzeczkowy Wyglad: barwa ciemnobrązowa z bursztynowymi refleksami, piana beżowa, średniotrwała, drobnobańkowa, opada do cienkiej warstwy przy powierzchni, nie zostawia lacingu Smak: słodkie, palone, trochę przypieczonej skórki od chleba i brzeczki, wodniste, goryczka niska, palona, lekko zalegająca Podniebienie: nagazowaniw srednie, nawet pijalne, pełnia taka sobie
3.1 Can from a Romanian shop in Woking. Burnt caramel aroma with a hint of roast. Dark cola brown. Bubbly off-white head. Initially light bitterness before caramel sweetness comes through. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Nice enough. Sweet but not overly so. Drinkable.
3.2 Well marked roasterd notes, rather sweet, with low bitterness, quite malty. Not a typical schwarzbier, but a good beer overall.
3.1 Deep almost-black color. Surprisingly bitter taste for a schwarzbier, lacks some maltiness for balance, but overall not bad for an "industrial" beer.
2.9 Appearance: black, some light traces inside the glass, weak to medium carbonation, three fingers blackish head. Aroma: burnt sugar, caramel, some roasted malt, sweet syrup, candy, hints of coffee. Taste: watery, sweet, good carbonation, burnt sugar, some coffee and roasted malt. Aftertaste: coffee and some roasted malt, not very durable.
3.5 A román nagyüzemi barna sörök között talán a legjobb. Ott van a szeren! 😀😀😀
3.3 It pours a dark color and it has a coffee aroma with some alcohol notes. Decent beer.
3.0 0.5 can. Pours black color with medium off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, bread. Medium bitter, medium sweet. Light to medium body. Average carbonation.
3.2 0.5l can. Purs in black colour with medium size brownish head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, Medium sweet, medium bitter, no sourness, medium intensity coffee taste. Medium feel, oily feel, average carbonization, long lasting burned finish. This beer I would not drink a lot

3.4 Halve liter fles @ Restaurant Snow in Sinaia, Roemenië. Zwart van kleur, weinig kraag. Ruikt gebrand moutig, smaakt ook zo, beetje droppig. OK
3.6 Can, 500 ml. Very dark brown, almost black. Foam is light brown, doesn't stay too long, a thin layer can be recalled by swirling the glasss. Medium sweet coffee with some caramel and vanilla inside on the nose. Medium sweet palate, coffee and vanilla, medium aftertaste. Full and rich taste with just an enough bitterness on the palate, very pleasent drinking pleasure, this is an extraordinary dark beer, will definitely buy it again. Maybe this is the first Asahi label i really like. Bravo, nice job on this one!
3.9 Op de camping in Roemeni?. Smaakt me best goed. Smeeuig. Niet te sterk van smaak. Zoet.
2.8 500mL can, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, earth and some cardboard. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, some roast, earthy notes, and light cardboard. Much better than any other Ursus products, but not a good schwarzbier.

3.1 Aroma: Chocolate and liquorize. Appearance: Black color with cloudy liquid and beige frothy head. Taste: Light sweetness. Palate: Light body with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Short bitter chocolate finish. Overall: Nice and easy to drink but very weak. Leaves short memories. Goes as a snack or for desserts.
3.3 DAAIB; Can 0,5l. Pours moderate, black, with a moderate lasting, tan head. Nose is light to moderate, roasted malt, grain, light chocolate and spice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a lasting sweet malt finish. Body is medium, texture oily, carbonation is soft.
3.3 Brun öl med inslag av rött. Medelstort brunt skum.
3.2 Can. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter ok roasted flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice.
2.9 20171125 @city grill (Bucarest) cerveza negra ligera, un poco dulce.
2.9 Got this one last summer at a local supermarket in Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja. Ruby to brown, lasting small tan head. Roasty, dark malts, light caramel. Sweet, sugary with some roasty flavours. Medium body, moderate carbonation, lightly sweet finish. Not bad.
3.5 Can 50cl. from from Mioritza grocery shop, The Hague, @home poured into a teku glass. Clear deep ruby brown, huge frothy tan head, fairly lasting, light lacing; aroma roasted mals, cocoa, caramel, light molasses; taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, light caramel, light spicy note; mild malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light chocolate, light earthy notes; medium body, watery texture, average carbonation; quite nice schwartz.
4.1 500ml can from Billa in Sinaia, drunk at home. Pours with a creamy brown head that lasted a few minutes leaving heavy lacing. Probably clear, but it is so dark as to be opaque. Intense roasted malt, burnt toast, dark chocolate and hints of wild cherry on the nose. Mouth-filling creamy texture with slight sweetness and long-lasting smooth bitterness. Perfect balance of carbonation, sugar and bitter malts. Overall, a truly wonderful dark beer.
4.0 26-09-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Cluj Napoca, Romania). The looks of the beer are very nice. I like it. The color of the beer on the naked eye is black. Only the strong flashlight from my phone reveals an extremely dark brown color, slightly lighter than black. The beer seems cloudy, but it is to dark to clearly tell. On top of the beer a thick layer of rough brown foam is formed. Foam retention is rather low. After a minute or so only a thin drape is left. The smell of the beer is very nice. It is a pure Schwarzbier. The smell is filled with nice malty aromas. I smell caramel, some liquorice, syrup, toffee, chocolate and a hint of coffee. The later 2 are only mild. I also smell some nice dark fruit. There is a hint of plum and something remotely reminding me of cherry. Nice. Besides the malts and fruits, I also smell some hops. They give a nice fresh fruity twist to the mainly bitter smell. Nice. The taste of the beer is als nice. I taste some nice malty rather sweet flavours, like caramel, toffee and chocolate, together with more toasty bitters. The fruity flavours are a bit less. The hops give a nice bitterness to the beer. It is nice, but some of the sweets are a bit weaker then they where in the smell, resulting in a taste that is slightly less balanced than the smell. But it still is very good though. The palate of the beer is nice. The body is medium-full. The beer is quite smooth, with a slight sticky bitter thing. Carbonation is high. The finish of the beer is nice. It contains some nice chocolate, together with some nice flours of malts and some fruity hops. I like this beer. It is a very good Schwarzbier. Especially for a beer from a big brewery like Ursus it is remarkably rich, full and flavourful. I would buy and drink this beer again if I'd had the chance. Definitely worth a try when you're in Romania. Nice, since the fact that it is probable available from nearly every supermarket (given the fact that I bought it in a rather small supermarket).
4.9 Very good beer with chocolate taste and intensive roastey malt flavour. My best beer.
3.3 Bottle in a Bucharest restaurant. Pours mahogany, almost black with a thick cream head. Quite a sweet aroma. The flavor starts a little metallic and lagery before a pleasing whack of chocolate and spice. Better than expected.
