4.2Thuis uit een flesje. Zwart bier, met bruin schuim. Goed aroma, o.a. chocolade. Romig in de mond, ook chocolade. Zowel zoet als bitter. Erg goed.
3.833 cl. bottle @ Rick, shared with Suus. Bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg.
Pitch black with a very small beige head. Roasted malts with tones of chocolate and most of all coffee. Taste is rather sweet and mouthfeel is very smooth, probably because of this. Nice imperial stout, safely within every border of the style but very enjoyable.
2.8Za kwaśny na dobrego stouta.

3.5On tap at Planet Oedipus Music & Beer Festival on 11th August 2018. Black with a small beige coloured head. Aroma of cocao nibs, roasted malt and alcohol. Full body and soft carbonation. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malt, liquorice and spices. Rich, full in flavour but a little heavy on the sweetness.
3.5Last of the Secret Santa haul. Thanks Benzai! Dark brown to black with a creamy tan head that lingers. Aroma is dark chocolate, licorice, prunes. Taste is tart and bittersweet with the tartness taking the upper hand at the end, leaving an aftertaste of red currant and licorice. Warming and boozy as well. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. Pretty good.
4.1Bottle, 33cl, bought @ Mitra, Coevorden. Pours deep red to black with a small, staying creamy beige head. Aroma has deep roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, coffee, light tar. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, oats, chocolate, coffee, hazelnut. Mild vinious feeling. Lovely.

3.6330ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn) (7+:4:8:4:15=3.8)
Rich chocolatey aroma, good and malty, nothing fake. Taste is even chocolatier, dusted truffles. Super velvetty palate, gentle carbonation, and served at the perfect (English cellar) temperature. Good solid high-7s porter, surprised by the 9! Finish even has some nice esters to float around the mouth, as well as the lovely dry bitter burnt roast. Oh, yes. Oh, yes, oh, yes.
Rerate: 330ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn) (7:4:6:3:13=3.3)
Looked great again - black, tight tan gead. Smells nearly as good, rich roast, lots of bitter hops. Taste way more aggressive, roasty, bitter, but quite some kick of alcohol too. Slightly powdery palate. Dry dusty dirtyish bitter finish. Almost Bramling-crossy. A bit of a let-down compared to the previous sample.
3.8Bottle (at koht). Pours black with beige head. Aroma is roast, malt, booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sour, roast, malt, coffee, fruits, sugar, cocoa, hops. Finish is sweet and roast with some hops. Overall: very good.
3.6330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Pitch black color. Medium size, brown color. Roast, massive dark chocolate, papery, cocoa powder in aroma. Dark chocolate, lots of cocoa beans, papery, oily in taste. Cocoa powder in aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel. Alcohol is there, but kind of hiddeen. Solid brew.
4.0Genuine stout with a nice touch of coffee and bean flavour. No solid whiskey or otherwise peaty tastes, but mostly plain coffee and plain savoury smell and taste. Not sweet at all, which is a difference from most stout I've tasted, but refreshingly so.
3.6Bottle a black colored beer with a white-off head aroma roasted malts spicy citrus chocolate coffee dark fruits and hops flavor roasted malts spicy laurel citrus fruits dark fruits chocolate caramel coffee and bitter hops
3.5Kadootje van GSAP waarvoor dank! Schenkt zwart in met een mooie plakkraag. Ruikt droppig, koffie, sojasaus. Smaak is in het begin zoet maar onaangenaam scherp en bitter in de afdronk. Geroosterde mout, koffie. Nasmaak is niet zo goed.
3.6Bottle thanks to Benzai - pours dark brown with tan head - nose and taste of roast chocolate, charcoal smoke, vanilla and lightly burnt coffee beans - medium body
3.70.33 l bottle from ’Slijterij Van Bergen’, best before July 2017, cellared for about one year. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, hazelnut, licorice, vanilla and some coffee. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, licorice, some coffee and a touch of dark fruits, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, a bit earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite tasty, too sweet though, overall a very decent Imperial Stout.
3.9Draught @ Van Moll, Eindhoven. Pitch black, creamy beige head. Bitter roasted malts with espresso, cacao, red fruits, leather, medium-high bitterness. Good body, medium carbonation.
4.2Bottle 33cl. Black with a brown head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and hops. Very nice rich taste where the hops are perfectly in balance with the malts. Subtle chocolate and intense coffee are the dominant ones. Long bitter finish. Great beer.
3.8Sterke en uitgesproken smaak, eentje is erg lekker.
4.0Bottle. Color: Almost black, nutbrown head. Taste: Heavily roasted malt, earthy, espresso. Some licorice and fruity notes. Hoppy bitterness. Long lasting dark espresso finish, pretty dry mouthfeel.
