Verdant Light Bulb

Verdant Light Bulb

As pale as a 100W light bulb but as juicy as an IPA. Session-able, quenching and totally addictive. Biscuity malt base with a hint of sweetness all drenched in fruity/dank hops.

Malt: Extra Pale Ale, Vienna, Oats, Caragold, Carapils
Hops: Simcoe, Centennial
Yeast: LalBrew New England

2.4 On tap at Suds & Soda, Derby. Pours a cloudy lemon yellow with a small white head.. Aroma is soft sweet lemon. This continues in the mouth, though it starps to get sharper after a while. Some mango and melon too, with hints of caramel lurking around as well. Finish is a yucky bitter lemon. Not keen on this one at all.
3.4 Keg at By the River, Gateshead. Hazy golden colour. Flavours are grassy, mango, citrus zest, pine. Medium bitter with some sweetness. Nice easy-drinking pale.

3.8 My first Verdant beer! Verdant Light Bulb Extra Pale Ale 4.5% On cracking open the can, I got a bright peppery fruity hop bouquet. In the glass this hazy straw gold brew with the dense bright white foam had a pretty juicy aroma with pineapple and guava. Quite full bodied with a surprisingly dry raspy finish. A really solid brew that makes me want to try more from these guys.
3.8 Can. Bright, yellow-gold, with a nice amount of white foam. Melon, soft floral hops aroma. A bit creamy/oily in the body, gives it a smooth mouthfeel. Passionfruit, melon. Solid.
3.0 Cloudy yellow body and okay bleach white foam. Soft aroma of lemonade, floral honey, sweet grain. Taste is sweet lemon, soft hops, ends with a dry grain finish that's reasonably crisp. Pretty low key but okay.
3.4 440ml can - Pours with a light haze, pale golden colour with an average sized frothy white head that gently settled. The aroma is pale malts, melon and soft sweet citrus. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, pale malt, melon, orange peel and lemon flavours with a drying hoppy finish.
3.7 Jasne, słomkowo-żółte, zmętnione, z grubą, bardzo obfitą pianą. W zapachu melon, pomelo, limonka i jakieś leśne nutki. W smaku wytrawne, melonowe, ogórkowe, z lekko kwaskową nutką kiwi. Średnia, albedowa goryczka, delikatna mineralność, zbyt wysokie co2 co nieco zmniejsza wysoką i tak pijalność.
3.5 440ml can. Pours hazy lemon gold with a large head. Aroma is straw, lemon, grass, touch of darkness. Taste is spritzy with lemon, pineapple and grass.
4.5 Can from The Experiment. Straw yellow pour, medium frothy head. Aroma is passionfruit, kiwi, lemon. Taste is soft tropical fruits, leading to lemon rind, mineral notes in the finish, which is dry. Mouthfeel is on point, carbonation is subtly prickly. Perfect easy drinking, so laid-back and sessionable. Impossible to improve.

3.4 e no jakieś takie za dziesięć złotych to może, lekko przegazowane, ostro przehajpowane, bez wyrazu, a jeśli z wyrazem, to brzydkim. takie se pyfko brytolskie.
3.9 Sessionable hazy pale. Friendly carbonation. Biscuity base presents a podium for pine, citrus and ripe fruits. Light bitterness with a long finish. Utterly smashable beer designed for that very purpose.

3.8 Data zapuszkowania 27.08.2020. Wygląd: barwa żółta, ładna, świetlista, piana obfita, średnio pęcherzykowa. Aromat: niezbyt intensywny, tropikalne owoce typu mango, ananas, żółty melon, leciutka żywica. W smaku rześkie, lekko wytrawne, delikatnie granulatowe w przyjemny sposób. Jest dużo soczystych cytrusów głównie w typie pomarańcza i grejpfrut. Gdzieś z tyłu mango, ananas. Przyjemne, soczyste, pijalne. Goryczka żywiczno-ziołowa, umiarkowana, lekko zalega. Wysycenie wysokie, dobrze kryje słabe ciało. Szybkie prównanko do PL i imo FF zrobił lepsze session ipki ostatnio.
