Vicaris Tripel Gueuze

Vicaris Tripel Gueuze

Mix of Vicaris Tripel and Boon lambic.

3.7 A cool mixed beer with qualities of each that mix well together. The balanced is about as perfect as they could get I think. online belgian beer factory (3.7 aug 2019) From bierkonig ams. I feel the same, just really good, unique beer
3.9 Clear golden, sparkling. Wild lambic nose with some dry boozy notes. Dry, tart with some spicy bitterness. Flavour: green apricotes, vinegar, some funky cheese, some fresh ground pepper. Very good.
3.6 Bottle. Aromas of tart fruit, citrus, sweet malt, honey, and light funky barnyard notes. Clear dark gold color, thin white ring of foam. Tart stone fruit, citrus, some vinegar, light tartness again, and a mild sweetish finish. Thin-medium body, a hint of astringency. And interesting blend of flavors here. But a "tripel'? -- the gueuze is definitely the dominant feature.
3.6 Bottle from Beerwulf. Pours golden with a frothy white head. Light funky aroma. The taste has some nice citrus and a light sourness. A touch of banana too. Pleasant.
Stark.
3.0 Bottle at Hundholmen, Bodø. Has a slightly hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of apple cider vinegar, metal, heather, lime and some barnyard and apricots. Flavour of citric acid, weeds, vinegar, almonds, alcohol, heather and wet hay. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. A little strange. A don't feel the mix was successful and is a little unbalanced.
3.7 Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Pours hazy pale golden with a small, unstable, frothy, off-white head; irregular lacing. Aroma of unripe apricot & apple, 'geuze', funk, hay, bread, sourdough even, barnyard, some vinegar & oak. Taste is medium funky sour, hay & vinegar, fruity tones of apple & apricot, evolving an oak-like bitterness that has grassy & spicy tones. Lasting funky sourness in the grassy & peppery hoppy finish, hay, vinegar & green apple, some warming alcohol. Medium to full body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Good blend, I like it.
3.7 The beer has got a hazy amber colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of acid and bread. Taste of acid, bread, fruits, green berries and citric. Mild sour finish.
Medium body. Smaak: zoetje, moutig, brett, zuurtje, toch wal koolzuur, tikje fruitig ook en beetje bitter. Goede dorstlesser.
3.4 Flaska örebro ölhall. Orange kulör. Doft av jäst, trä och citron. Liknande i smak.
3.6 33cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, green apples, tart. Taste is malt, sweet, yeast, fruits, spices, green apples, tart. Medium body, moderate carbonation.
3.2 Small fluffy head left a cover on a hazy orange still body. Herbaceous aroma with Belgian yeast & orange. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate with a very dry finish. Strong orange, strong yeast & herbaceous tastes with a very bitter lemon finish.
3.3 Hazy yellow/golden liquid, hardly any head. Weak, sour, fruity aroma. Light body, strong carbonation. Taste is weak, a bit sour.
3.4 Pours a deep golden body with a thin head. Fruity aroma with a hont of vinaeger. Taste is malty sweet with a winey touch.
2.7 (blond pâle, nez wild, bouche disharmonieuse, plate, ni triple ni gueuze (dry nasty lemon), sur quel pied danser ?)
3.8 Bottle @ Home, cellared 18 months. Clear golden with a White fizzy head. Tart, fruity aroma with red apples, white grapes, apricots, honey, grass, funk, smoked birch, almonds. taste is crisp, tart and earthy. Nice tart champagne like mouth feel. Similar flavours.
3.2 Tap @ Både &, Kristiansand. Pretty clear, deep golden body with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with alcohol and hint of funk. Flavor is both sweet and sour with fruit like peaches and hint of wood and funk. Medium body and average aftertaste. Drinkable but not particular exiting. A bit undefined.
2.7 Hazy deep honeyed golden/copper hue under a thick creamy ivory head. Biscuity Belgian malty aroma with a thic honey-vanilla and earthy musty hay funk. Weird flavor of woody honey and light pale malt but with a earthy sweaty phenol and light body. No idea what to make of this beer.
4.0 Bottle at home. Clear pale amber with a tight white head. Definite gueuze aroma with a little tripel yeast and spice. Sweet, sharp and sour tastes. The tripel gives this beer a sweet, smooth flavour and mouthfeel but the gueuze character remains. Nice dry finish. Very good indeed.
Gott
3.6 Bottle. Hazy amber body with white head. Aroma is malts sour yeas fruits. Taste is malty caramel with some fruity sourness. Aftertaste is is really nice balanced.
3.6 balanced bitter and sweet with dominating sour. not too sour though. hints of champagne, kiwi, sour cherry. The gueuze on its own doesn't taste much like a beer but it makes a nice combo with the tripel in the mix.
3.8 Not a bad gueuze, but not my favorite either. Has more of the sweet characteristics of the tripel than anything else. Light sourness at the beginning, thick and malty. Honey and plums, some coriander. Shared a bottle with dad at Darios in 2017.
4.2 Alt for vild i næsen. Brett for hårdt. Endnu kraftigere aroma end en gueuze.
3.8 F: not big, bit tan, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: sour fruity, brett, bit woody, citrus, lambic, peach, kiwi. T: malty, bit citrus, bit brett, light woody, green apple, unripe plum, light fruity sour, medium body and carbonation, something like connection of Belgian strong ale, lambic and gueuze together, not bad, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from the brewery.
