Exhibiting a deep, chestnut color and malty aroma All Malt Dark Lager is a very inviting beer. Mildly malty, with little lingering sweetness to note, Dark Lager is surprisingly refreshing. This is beer as it was meant to be, firm and satisfying. Seasonal specialty available January - April on draft.

3.0Backlog...late 2011/early 2012...probably draft @ VBC...Pours clear amber with a minimal tan head. Aroma is nutty with a touch of sweet caramel. Flavor follows suit...some earthy/breadiness...slightly bland and muddled. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and the finish is tealike and abrupt.
2.3Draft@PJ’s. Deep muddy amber with a nice looking head. Yeast, bready, and some slight sweetness waft from the glass. Not much going on here. Thin body with slight bready malts, floral hops, and finishing bland. Ehhh not my thing at all. Just a glorified Yuengling
3.7On tap at P.J.’s pours a dark amber with a nice white head. Aroma is malty a bit of cereal and a bit bread doughy. Flavor is sweet with a heavy malt characteristic. Body is medium and has a real nice mouth feel. Finish is a touch sweet and bready
3.012 oz bottle pours amber witha off white head. Aroma of caramel malts and a bit of floral hops. Taste is sweet caramel malt.
2.9Dark copper color with a white foamy head. Aroma of toffee and nuts with a toffee, caramel, and nut flavor. Notbad, but not great.
2.9Draft. Pours copper with minimal head. There is tons of carbonation in the glass. Aroma is mostly bread and a little malty sweetness. Taste is pretty crisp without much distinction. Okay...
3.0Tap at Victory. Pours a clear Vienna SRM, light amber, with small, white foam. Weak formation. Sweet, toffee nose. Baked apples come through. Taste is tangy, soapy, fairly tannic with tea leafs. Slightly buttery and toffee through the finish. Not my favorite. Suddy palate. I’ll stick to their pilsners.

Tap at Victory. Clear Vienna malt amber. Small off white head. Weak lacing. Sweet, malty nose with mild toffee. Small baked apples. Taste is tangy, very soapy, tea tannic. Slightly butter toffee heavy. Not my favorite. Suddy palate.
3.0Draft from diamond. Nutty brown pour with reddish hilights. Not much head. Yeasty malty hoppy. Not that special.
3.4First brew of this style. The body was a clear brown, and for a light colored beer, the nose was huge on toffee and roasted malts. As for the taste, it was very malty and lightly roasted with hints of caramel and hops. Unbalanced and sort of sweet, but drinkable nonetheless.
4.2This is a very different beer. Wonderfully malty and flavorful. I think the difference must be the slight sweetness, yet it is surprisingly good!
3.4Not bad. Definitely not one of the top beers at Victory but not a bad addition to the sampler. I would say the appearance was the highlight in a sampler with all pillsners...@GT2 feel free to add
3.3Pours deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, grass and toast. Taste is sweet with the caramel coming through nicely. Light and easy to drink.
3.6Draft at the Haddon Township location.
Pours a dark golden orange/copper color with tangerine hues and a half finger white head that slowly settles into a thin ring. Sporadic streaks of lace left behind.
Slightly floral aroma with some earthy hops along with a sweet malt presence. Slightly toasty with hints of caramel and toffee.
Fuller bodied than expected with a nice crisp hop presence up front that provides a dry bitterness that lingers over the malt into a sweet and slightly dry finish. Some grassy pine notes countered by the sweetness with hints of caramel, toffee and biscuit. There’s some bready yeast adding fullness and light fruit notes in the finish. Well balanced and easy to drink. I was pleasantly surprised by this beer.
3.3Brown-tinged amber with a light ring of head. Easy malty and nuttiness in the nose with excellent use of traditional Munich malt. The body is accented by Munich malt and subtle nuttiness and also flashes honeyed grain notes and touches of fresh grain and sawdust. Dry finish.
3.3From a growler fill at VBC into a dimpled mug. Pours a light brown, very clear color with a half inch of head which dissipates quickly leaving no lacing. Not much aroma at all. Mouthfeel is light and crisp... very Victory-like! Taste is extremely mild. It’s hard to describe really... but it’s tasty! Anyway, this is a veeeeeeeerrrrrrry drinkable beer with a good amount of taste. I bought a growler of this and will likely kill it in a couple days. A top notch session beer that I’m happy to order again!
3.5medium brown with large white head. some bitterness before nice munich malt flavor before some herbal noble hop flavor. overall a flavorful dunkel and an enjoyable brew
2.4Pours an opalescent light brown with a soft, pillowy head. Beautiful lacing. Lovely floral scent, with baking soda and banana. Well-balanced musty palate, accompanied by apple and tartness. Watery mouthfeel and disappointing finish.
2.5Tap at Rattle n Hum. Clear pale yellow pour. Weak nose that was hard to pick out even after it had warmed completely; maybe a grain or two in there. Odd taste of peanut shells, oak, and lightly roasted malt. Strange peanut shell finish. Overly buttery.
3.1Pours yellow amber in the glass. Nose and taste of light spruce, sweet malts. Rated 1/30/01
3.3Draft. Pours an amber body with a thin off white head. Caramel malt, a nutty bitterness, almond, toasted malt with a thin session body. A straight forward amber that a bit above the grain.
3.9Tap at Barcade. Glad to see this. Pours yellow with a bright white ring. Light slightly malty nose. Taste is sweet, malty rich and amazingly drinkable.
3.0Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Malty aroma with a moderate amount of sweetness and some toast. The flavor is malty sweet with lighter notes of toast and bread. Decent.
3.3Had awhile back at PJs [copper lager] - didnt realize it was a victory at first. Poured a dark copper body with small head. The aroma was light, but sweet. The taste is smooth with some malt in the finish.
3.4What can be said about lager? dry and clean with a slight nutty finish. From the looks of other reviews, many pubs don’t understand that unpasteurized lager has to always be cold or it will spoil. Make sure it is fresh!
2.9Got at the Coliseum in camp hill. house brew made by victory. Body was a little thin had a slight citrus taste to it a hint of hops.

I wasn’t really impressed with this. body seemed thin, not much of an aroma, had a bit of a sweet taste to it, but nothing much other than that.
1.4Tap at PJ’s. Pour is amber with fluffy white head. Aromas of grain and not much else. Flavor is that of a Yuengling with a fart in it. Blech! I had to choke this one down. Terrible.
3.5For a lager, this is as good as it gets. Nice pretty dark amber pour. Typical lager aroma. Nice for a hot summer day.
2.5Copper color with a moderate off-white head. Scent of dry caramel, and herbal hops. Flavors of stale grain and toast. Just did not set well with me. Some DMS and perhaps bad line qualities. Mostly a drain pour. At least the bartender let me keep the glass.
3.3Smells of grain, wheat and fruit. Pours a reddish-brown. Notes of hops, fruit, maybe raspberry in the flavor. Surprising and good.
2.5Tap at Blind Tiger. Aroma of sweet fruit, some vomit. Flavor of earthy coffee, earthy fruit, vegetation. Not inspiring.
