Three hop varieties have added tremendous zest to this Pale Ale. After a soft and full floral nose, those juicy hops saturate the middle of this amber ale with more flowery fullness. The malt body punctuates the lingering hop richness of this one-of-a-kind ale.

3.8From a bottle at Dominion Wine and Beer. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of mandarin oranges. Bitter finish. Very tasty!
3.8Hazy deep amber with a lacing head. Huge floral aroma. Notes of fruit, some citrus. Nice fresh-hop bitter finish.
3.6Pours a golden amber color. Aromas of hops. Flavor is caramel malts and a bitter hop finish.
3.5It pours light amber with a slightly off white head. It has an aroma of floral hops, some citrus, bready and toffee malts. As it warms it takes on an apricot and peachy aroma. It has flavors or floral, and citrus with a backbone of bready malts and toffee flavors. It has a medium body feel to it. It has a moderately bitter finish that does last for a while highlighting the floral and fruit elements.
3.412 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, with slight lacing, over an amber (SRM 9) particle laden body.....nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, light toasted malts, balance to the hops, no esters......taste is slightly sweet with honey notes, mild toasted malts, heavier pine, resin, citrus notes with grapefruit, tangerine tones, becoming moderately but softly hop bitter.....mouth feel, medium body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation, with light acid. This is a quite classic APA with appropriate hop aroma and bitterness. The only flaw is the appearance with the heavy tiny particles. BJCP 8/2/15/4/7
3.912 ounce bottle. Amber orange color topped by a small creamy beige head with nice lacing. Fresh spicy hop nose has floral and fruity notes. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has a toffeeish character. Midtaste brings a big juicy hop burst. I get tangerine and grassy notes. Finish is spicy with tropical fruitiness. Quite complex and tasty.
3.5Bottle. Orange malt and metallic orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small light tan head. Sweet milky orange malt and moderately bitter earthy orange peel flavor. Nice body. Tasty.
3.6Bottled. Nice pour tending to coppery amber. Kind if creamy, some malts and citrus. Enjoyable
3.4Cat pee, grass, lemon zest, orange nose with marshmallow highlights. Cloudy copper, medium yellow head. Tea, grass, orange. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Decent, but doesn’t taste very fresh, which rather defeats the purpose of a wet hop beer. Bottle is undated, and I don’t recall sitting on it for very long.
3.6Mild hoppy aroma with a little bit of green grass. Clear medium copper color with a white head. Drag racing business with a nice drying effect on the tongue. Overall the flavor is fairly mild, but quite tasty with a nice light malt backbone to support it. The flavor builds as you go and becomes a bit more intense. Very tasty and refreshing, but not quite as hoppy as I was expecting.
4.1Pleasant flowered hop aroma. Darker pale copper color. Slight haze but clear. Only partial lacing. Nice hop bite, not overpowering. Bitterness over the entire palate. Hop lingers for some time after initial taste, surprisingly reamerging at the rear of the mouth. A nice Victory indeed.
3.0Pours clear copper with a modest off white head. Nose is light earthy hops. Simcoe flavor hops dominate the flavor before fading to a generic pale ale.
3.9Bottle from Capitol Beer. Pours clear copper with a creamy beige head. Hoppy aroma - citrus and stone fruit? Med body at least. Flavor is hoppy - citrus/light stone fruit/tea? It’s towards dry and decently bitter. The (to me) complex hop flavor is tasty and intriguing. Good stuff.
3.712 oz. bottle from Liquor Barn (Jefferson Commons). Aroma: Light to moderate floral wet hop presence; lighter garden herbs and a touch of cereal. Appearance: Copper body with soft carbonation holding up a thick tan head that fades into a firm cap. Flavor: Healthy floral hop up front with cereal coming in thereafter; the finish has an herbal bitterness and is dry. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Even at a couple of months old, this is still a very nice ale. I’d love to have this fresh next year, and will look to do so.
3.4Pours a copper color with an off white sudsy head. Piney, floral aromas. Light bodied, quite dry with an intense piney hop character that lingers and hits the sides of the mouth.
3.1Bottled. Poured medium ambery-golden with a splotchy white head and some fine sediment suspended in there. The aroma picked up sweet caramel afeel and ccented by pine and orangey hops.. getting to be a little old, but nice. The flavor found tart orange and peppery notes over sweet caramel.. ok. Light-medium bodied with a decent feel and flow.
3.412oz bottle, poured into a snifter. The aroma is bright with citrus and floral notes and subtle bread and caramel undertones. The beer is a brilliant orange amber with a soft, white head that has good lace, and decent retention. The taste is a medium, balanced bittersweet. The texture is oily and slick with a foamy carbonation and a light body that?s flavored with bitter, juicy, citrus notes as well as bread and a light toffee. The finish is slick with bitter, waxy citrus and bread crust leading to an aftertaste that?s lightly astringent, and refreshing with bitter citrus.
3.9Nose is mango, grass, pine. Flavor has a moderate bready/caramel malt presence to support the hops. Pretty simple but well balanced and tasty
4.1Pours with a nice white head, caramel in color. The aroma is powerful, citrus, light floral. Very nice! Nice medium body ale with a sweet caramel malt, well balanced citrus flavor and smooth finish. Very well done.
4.1EBD 3/7/16. Clear medium amber (dark copper) pour. World class head volume, lacing and retention.
Delicious world class nose of hops over a light biscuit with a touch of caramel. Citrus, pine, tropical - you name it, it’s there.
Light body with a smooth texture plus some oily hop resin. Normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a fair burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is outstanding. It begins with a wave of blended hop flavor that, like the nose, runs the full hop spectrum. Bitterness is quite tame and arrives in the middle with a balancing biscuit that is perfectly balanced - not sweet, but there. As the finish approaches, light caramel notes appear as does just a touch of herbal pepper. The finish provides the strongest citric element as a subtle rind bitterness lingers.
3.6Bottle. Clear Amber with a big fluffy head. A crisp hoppy punch balanced with a strong malt base. Light caramel, tea, spice, citrus. Very good, fresh, full flavor but, very sessionable.
4.0Draft. Medium off-white head atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grape, orange/grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, grape, light grapefruit. Light-medium body, light acidity.
3.5Bottle-tulip. Deep orange with moderate offwhite head. A: dank floral and citrus hops, caramel malt. T: musk, resin, pine hops, caramel malt. Decent, though a little too much sock sweat here.
4.2Clean, fresh hop nose...fantastic. Hazy light amber, slight head. Mildly bitter, mixed with floral, mild bitter finish. Very easy drinking. Nice amount of carbonation.
3.6Pours a darker orangish golden color with off-white head. Grass, pine, floral notes and some light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes very flowery, floral notes mainly, some grass too.
3.212oz bottle. Not much aroma, which is pretty odd given the style of beer. Mouthfeel is sticky-juicy, with flavors of grapefruit, sweet orange and caramel. Above average.
3.5four pack from Wegmans. $10, so not cheap. Pours murky brown. Lot’s of frothy sticky head. Sticky aroma with lots o dirt. Mouthfeel is moderate with some stickyness. Taste is dirty, but in a good hop way. Not dank, but dirty. Mild pine, grass, dough, soy and wood. Last year it took me at least two of these to really appreciate it. This year was the same. Very good use of fresh hops. you really don’t get that from most harvest beers I’ve tried ( i haven’t tried a ton however). That being said, since it takes me a few to really appreciate the flavor, I’m knocking it down a couple notches. But worth a four pack purchase.
3.2355ml bottle. Amber pour, ecru head that sticks, nice lacing. Lemon pepper aroma, herbs and grass, bit of citrus zest, baked bread. Flavor is bitter, herbs, some acidity. Not terrible.
4.2Aroma: grass, hay, resin
Appearance: clear gold-amber, off-white head
Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness,
Palate: medium body, sticky, soft carbonation, long finish,
Nice
3.9Very good pale ale...albeit on the darker side. The hops bring an array of aromas - pine, floral, pith/zest, and spice. Really dig this.
