A full-bodied lager beer of exuberant and robust character. It’s muscle-man body comes from decocted German malts and noble German hops. Lagered long and cold to refine its strong temperament, St. Boisterous emerges smooth and seductive, with a malty sweet charm. This classic rendition of the German ‘maibock' style will warm your heart.

3.4Tap at Blind Tiger. Light golden straw with a small white head. Nose is bready, light hops, lemon. Flavor shows some more biscuit like malts, herbal hops, lemon, honey crisp. A little too heavy on the palate, could use the booze toned down a bit for improvement.
3.9Clear golden color in the glass. Tons of malty goodness coming through on the rich palate, nice grainy bready notes with a hint of toast. Great stuff.
3.8Pours a clear pale yellow/gold with a medium white head. Aroma has light sweet malty notes with a touch of delicate spicy hops. Flavor is pleasantly hoppy...earthy/spicy...with some malty sweetness and a touch of fruitiness. Mouthfeel is full and silky with a fruity/bitter finish.
3.4Pours gold with no head but leaves moderate lacing. Light, crisp, & flavorful. The 7.5% isn’t noticeable. A very solid beer.
3.8On tap at the brewpub. Pour is clear medium gold with a small white head. Malt, biscuit, lightly sweet. Fresh cracked grains and medium floral hops, some alcohol heat on the finish. Crisp and bright, with some honey sweetness tempered nicely by all the hops and grain. Nice balance, bright, a good spring lager from a mater of German styles.
3.5Draft. Pours copper with a big white head and major carbonation. Aroma is full of bread. The taste is medium bitter but the carbonation cuts it back well. Solid.
3.4aroma, warm sulte hoppiness, color, warm golden hue, stable cream head, has body, taste, cereal hop on the front, strong body lends to fullness, overall, good beer with chesse esp, Blue or Copper.
3.2Bottle. Moderate malt notes of staw and cereal, light to moderate perfume and herbs for the hops, with over ripe peach and honey. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is hazy, medium amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes slightly sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a soft to lively carbonation and a dry finish. An okay beer, very drinkable, and very true to style.
3.3A: Golden body.. moderate white head.. good retention.. lots of lacing...
S: Nice soft floral european hop bitterness... soft bready malts.. smells like spring.
T: Much like the nose... floral hops up front... balanced out by the soft malty bread flavors..
M: Light bodied... slight alcohol burn at the end... a breif, slightly metallic feel..
O: A good spring beer indeed.

3.5This is quite full of sweet malts. Light finishing hops and noticeable alcohol, on the finish. Decent.
3.5This one is only around for a short time in bottles. It is a golden color with high co2. It is one of the many victory beers that are way above average. I stock up when it comes out each year.
2.6Bright gold color with a white head. Biscuity aroma. Taste is sweet with a dry finish. Nice brew overall.
3.4Wow, very strong on the malt, sweet and nutty, but with some light hints of citrus as well. Not too heavy. Alcohol strength is not detectable.
3.612 oz bottle, pours clear golden yellow in color. Aroma of fruits, caramel malts. Sweet fruit flavors, excellent CO2, interesting flavors mixed with this brew. Good German style beer, I would not have guessed it was 7.3% abv. Well hidden. Good Spring/Summer beer.
3.3Sweet plisner type malt bill with some thick graininess. Aroma is very light and plisnery and sweet. It’s one of the best for this simple style.
3.2Draft @ the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma. Fruity sweetish malty caramel flavor with some weak hoppy hints. Has a sweetish malty grainy caramel finish.
3.4Hazy golden with dense straw colored head. Malty corn aroma. Nice clean flavor; malty, slightly hoppy with corn flavor as well, finish is a bit cloying. Very pleasant. Reminds me of a nice German maibock
2.9Victory St. Boisterous is a very clear yellow beer with a dense, white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and a little wooden. It smells a little like Pinesol and spilled beer. There is an almost minty character to it. It’s medium bodied and very smooth with a clean, dry finish. There’s a little bit of chewiness or grit left on the teeth. It tastes a little boozy and twangy, like a malt liquor or a euro lager. Alcohol, lemon detergent and light grain are there, along with an herbal, wooden bitterness that surfaces at the finish. This just really isn’t my thing. It seems like it wants to be refreshing but the alcohol flavor takes away from that.
3.7Appears clear golden/straw yellow. Heavy carbonation, slushy pure white head. Sweet, bready German malt aroma. Flowery, crisp nose; very German/Euro. Flavor is equally malty, very sharp. Sweet and sugary at the finish. No hop to speak of. Very refreshing but doesn’t skimp on flavor. Feels thick and hearty, with a buttery finish. A very refreshing helles.
2.7[3705-20110429] Tap. Apple skins aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick bubbly head. Fluffy apple sauce flavour is light and drinkable. Light-medium body. Interesting but has an odd bitterness to it that I don’t care for today. (6-/2/5/3/11) 2.7

3.4Bottle from a trade with Steeeve. Pours clear dark golden color with white head. Fruity aroma with some grassy hops and dough. Sweet and fruity flavor with grassy hops and some caramel. Medium body with lively carbonation. Thanks Steve.
3.2Used a lager glass. Nearly clear yellow color. Small thin white head, no lace. Light pale malt nose. Sweet malt and hop taste. Light body. Stronger hop presence when it get warms. A very nice starter brew on a warm June day before golfing.
3.6Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy amber with a large bubbly (large bubbles) head. Aroma is warm caramel with some mild spice. Med body. Flavor is caramel, but it’s far from sweet. There’s herbal hop and something that might be a grass bitter. There’s a lot of flavor here, and it is a bit out of the common for the style. Nice stuff.
3.5Draft at Pour House (Tampa). Pours a clear pale golden yellow with mid sized white head with a sudsy sheet of lacing. Somewhat sweet and malty flavor and aroma. Crisp and clean finish. The 7.3% ABV is well disguised.
3.5Pours a light golden yellow with minimal white head. Aroma of grass lemon and leather. Taste is malt forward with a grainy backbone sharp hop bite and a residual maltiness.
3.1Medium body golden pour with a sweet malt, bread and spice aroma. The flavor was a dominant sweet filled with mild hop and bread. A good brew.
3.4Bottle. Pour is yellow/gold with a big white head. Aroma is grain husk, fruity/grassy/hay hops. Flavor is sweet, somewhat bitter, grassy. Palate is crisp, good carbonation, a bit oily, some booze. Rather bland overall.
2.6On tap at Victory ... Nice and fresh but nothing more than a more flavorful macrobrew. I mean that in a good way. Def a good pick for a hot summer day.
2.7Has some nice malty yeastiness on the nose. Pours from bottle dark brown with very little head and leaves nearly no lacing. Has some caramel on the palate but didn’t do much for me. It finished clean but I just found the whole somewhat boring.
3.7Pours yellow with a thick white head. Smells of the earth with notes of grain, wheat, hops and bread. Surprisingly rich flavor which all blends together with a crisp bitter finish. Warms me up on this chilly spring day!
