3.4Can at KCBD18. Spicy mango aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is spicy, seemingly from a hop. Quite bitter, but also quite clean.
3.1Bottle @ KCBD18. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and some veggielike fruit, with faint malty and hoppy hints. Bitterish, hoppy flavour withi grassy notes and sweetish hints of malt and yeast. Bitterish and esterybaftertaste. A little watery but drinkable and not unenjoyable.
2.6Cerveza con un punto acido y floja de aromas. Probada en black isle Inverness. Para mi le falta mucho. No la volveria a pedir.
4.4Quite floral on the nose, but a robust hoppy explosion on the palette without the usual overly tropical citrus tang and a long bitter finish. Very nice!
2.9Tap@Vilja&Ville, Tampere, Finland. Medium, averagely balanced nuances with riped fruits, some fresh fruits and malts. A hint of pine. Medium taste spectrum and long hoppy aftertaste with dry fruits and some malts. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Overall. bitterness and dry twist gives refreshing feeling. Bit messy and artificial. 6 2 6 3 12
2.7Can - pours hazy pale gold with a white head. Aroma is cereal malt and citrus. Taste is cereal malt with a dry finish.
3.2Tap at St Michael, Oulu. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Ripe fruits, tropical fruits, pine, harshness, some hops and malts. Pretty aggressive.
3.8Can, 355ml from Sainsbury's in Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. There is a hoppy aroma on opening this with a promise of floral sweetness. The beer has a crisp and fruity citrus character, sharp grapefruit then a resinous hints. All the flavours you would need from an IPA all on a light, biscuity body. Very pleasant and easy drinking.
3.81) Can, week 43 2016. From Asda I guess. Bright high stacked foaming gold. Soapy bathfoam, flowers, citrus herb, lemon zest and galangal aroma. Lavender and shrub taste with underlying biscuit and lemon zest. Lean, pale and hop-forward for a USIPA, which I applaud. An almost wheat ale delicacy. But solid bitter hop clout. Good.
2) Determined to hate this as I purchased it, full price, from an immoral bunch of cunts and my erstwhile employers, breaking a lifelong boycott. Such is the desperate thirst of the ticker. Lemony pale haze with an unfiltered gauze of condition. Immediately likeable zest of soapy lemon peel hop freshness and boiled sweet peach counterpoised with punchy bitterness ruining my bad mood. Nose slightly bilious with Southern Comfort, lozenges and more soapy lemon gratings. That's more like it. Drinks dangerously below its proclaimed pungency with a cask English-like balance of mildly abrasive citrus and softening biscuit. What's not to like?

3.4Taster at brewery. Pours yellow with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Super malty on the nose and tongue with a hint of pine. Finished clean. Not bad.

With Abby while trying unsuccessfully to watch The Snowman.
Poured from can. Slightly hazy gold with a substantial 2.5 finger foamy head. Light in color for an IPA but looks good and the can is very attractive.
Smell is piney/resinous hops with a bit of tropical fruit. Very hoppy nose.
Taste is more pine/resin but I can definitely make out some of the Pilsner malt. Tastes like you added a crap-ton if hops to a (good) macro beer. Some tropical notes as well. It’s really good and even better as it warms. Pretty bitter without much sweetness.
Soft body with a disappearing carbonation. Lingering hops on the finish.
Overall an excellent IPA. They nailed their concept getting the “vital” hoppy aspects without too much else in the way. Another stellar beer from one of my favorite breweries!
3.9330ml Can. In a brewdog teku glass. Nice groovy green can. I could see this zesty piss being awesome on a summer morning while doing redneck things..really smooth, citrusy and chuggable. Loads of fucken aromatic marmalade.. Could slam a carton in a day kinda vibe.
3.312oz can from Asda. Clear, golden with a large foamy white head. Pineapple aroma, flavour is pine, citrus with solid malty base and a peppery finish
3.7Draft at the Tommyknocker Craft Beer Bar, Helsinki, Finland. Enjoyed on Nov 25 2017.
Clear golden color with a medium size white head.
Fruity hoppy aroma with some bitterness and malty notes.
The flavor is fruity and sweet hoppy, moderately bitterness and malty balanced. What a nice surprise.
3.212 ounce bottle. Pours clear golden color with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, lemon rind, quite bitter hops.
2.6I have notes on my phone, but I didn't note where I drunk it or bought it, just this: Hoppy pale ale, creamy, not aggressive. OK, but not my thing.
3.5Pale yellow beer, white head and an aroma of sweet, lemony hop. Taste follows suit. There's a dry, spicy quality to it and a slightly earthy malt base to it as well. Crisp and refreshing.
3.333cl can. Poured a light hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, tropical fruit, light dry mineral, fake sugar. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fresh, crisp, citrus, light tart, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.7Can from Asda. Pours clear golden. Nose is pine, grass, pineapple, caramel maltiness. Tastes sweet caramel, pine, citrus, floral. Quite sweet but solid.
3.6Bottle. Wow. This beer is good. This beer made me almost shit my pants. Maybe because I'm Fl dressed as Negan from Walking Dead. Fresh smooth citrus fruit hops. Average carbonation. Good. Very good.
3.5can - Hazy gold pour, one finger white head, aroma of citrus hops and light, grainy malt. The flavor features crisp bitterness with citrus, a little resin, and bready malt. Medium bodied.
3.4On tap at Golden Hopfen, Leipzig. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of pine, a little bit of soap, some pineapple juice. Bitter, a little soapy, pine, slightly dry and a hint of tropical fruit. Medium body, fine fizz, long finish, dry with a hint of malt.
3.7355ml can. Pours slightly hazy gold. White head. Aroma is Pilsner malt, straw, bread, white pepper, citrus , apricot and mango. Very light for a 6.5% beer. Taste is Pilsner like in the malt and American IPA in the hops. Interesting. Certainly refreshing. Nicely malty and fruity, not too bitter.
3.5Had in luxury box at Phillies game. Pours from can a hazy gold into plastic cup. Tough to get a nose over the plastic smell - but seems to have the pine/citrus nose of typical IPA. There is some citrus up front, but the bitter hops really stand out with this brew - and lingers. Good.
3.6Can from Tesco. Golden colour with a white head. Good malty aroma and a taste which has a good malt base and excellent hop flavour. Not as overwhelmingly as some APAs with a taste of pine, peach, apricot and orange. Not too bitter in the finish. A really tasty, lightish APA. The highish 6.5% ABV is well-disguised.
3.6Tap at Røør. Pours hazy golden. Citrus, orange, stone fruit, berry. Medium high bitterness.
3.8pours slightly cloudy golden. aroma is hoppy. pine. taste is hoppy, nice bitterness.
3.4Can from Tesco. Mid gold, some carbonation. A bit of spotty white head on top. Pine dominates the aroma, with some gentle sweet grapefruit and white grape notes. Taste is quite bitter and somewhat medicinal, leaving an intense bitterness in the finish. More pine, some TCP and gooseberry in the aftertaste. Feels surprisingly boozy for a 6.5% beer. Reasonable but not excellent and a bit lacking in balance.
3.6I’m a fan of Victory brews though I’ve moved on some. They have a broad range of beers to choose from. Golden Monkey to me is simply dreadful, Hop Devil is well done but the taste is not to my liking. Dirt Wolf gets it right but be careful with it. This is a nicely balanced and sessionable IPA that has an oily but dry finish to it, nice hops, maybe a little on the thin side which contributes to the drinkability. Citrus, lemony but not much grapefruit leaves a nice lacing on the glass. It’s not world class or completely memorable, but it’s a good well balanced brew I’d come back to time and time again. I can’t say that for most of Victory’s beers compared to others, but I have a new favorite from Victory that I like better than the others. A higher rating is not possible but it’s a very nice offering.
