Vinohradský Vinohradská 11

Vinohradský Vinohradská 11

Vinohradská 11, klasický světlý ležák plzeňského typu, je naší vlajkovou lodí mezi spodně kvašenými pivy. Vyznačuje se bohatou vůní Žateckého poloraného červeňáku. Charakterizuje ho nižší střední plnost a vysoká pitelnost. Vaříme ho z plzeňského a mnichovského sladu, z nichž pivo získává krásně slámovou barvu.

4.1 On tap at cafe Rooster. Pours clear golden with white lacing. Malt, saaz hops. Softish mouthfeel, but still nice bitter finish. Really good. Best Czech pils I have tasted thus far.
3.0 Tap (Pien, Helsinki) (6:3:6:3:12=3.0) Lovely herbal czech pils aroma, smells quite enticing. Malty taste, herbal and grassy bitterness. Clean and characterful lager. Bitter tingle lasts a while. Good one. Rerate: Tap (Damian Bar, Bratislava) (6:3:5+:3:11+=2.8++) Very pleasant soft pale malts in the aroma, some tobacco. SLightly watery palate. Pulsy hints in the taste, but good bitterness. Lingering bitter finish. Pretty OK, but not as good as before.
3.6 Clear golden color with medium off-white head. Aroma has caramel, malt and grass. Taste is malty with long bitter and dry aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, grass and malt. Crisp and tasty.
3.3 How: Draught. Where: MBCC 2022. Appearance: Golden colour with a white head. Aroma: Malt, fruit, hops, grass. Body: Medium body and carbonation. Flavour: Malt, fruit, hops, some spices.
3.5 Tap at the junkyard Nottingham. Deep golden colour with a white head. Malty and slight floral. Light sweet. Medium body.
4.1 0,5 l on tap at Stejkárna Holešovice. Poured as proper hladinka in one go, slightly hazy golden colour with amazingly rich creamy head. Aroma of pilsner malt, a bit of honey, cereals, mild grassy hop aroma. Head is quite sweet and beer itself medium bitter. Beer changes from medium sweet with short bittersweet finish first sip, as there is a lot of head, to medium bitter with long, lasting proper bitter finish when there is no head left. Second glass was poured as double, it was still good, but not as amazing as the first one. First one was on of the best I had in a long while.
3.9 Draught, taster. @"MBCC 2022", Copenhagen (Denmark). 14/05/2022 [#5.041 Global - #16 Czech Republic - #1 Vinohradský Pivovar (My Brewery #12 from the Czech Republic)] Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma: Grains, butter and soft floral. Taste: Grainy malts, soft lemon. Spiced bread. Balanced and refreshing. Good example of the style. Next one please!
3.6 50 cl can. Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Buttery notes on the nose, crisp hops, grassy notes, some grain as well. Flavor is bitter hoppy and slightly malty, grassy, slick palate. Crisp and refreshing, nice.
3.5 Pours a beautiful clear golden, transparent but with a bit of haziness. Translucent if seen through light. Huge frothy white head, showing excellent retention and loads of lacing. Delicate, almost weak aroma (the huge head probably doesn't help with that), but quite complex and well defined. Cereal and hay base, lightest honey sweetness, light grassy notes with some saaz tanginess (cedar, lemon, slight prickliness) and flowery notes. Taste notes more or less follow the aroma, perhaps with a bit less definition and still in a quite mild way. The overall taste profile is more bitter than the smell suggested though, with a slight bitter edge in the mouth and a bitterly dry, flowery (almost tea-like) finish and aftertaste. Light bodied with light to medium, delicate carbonation; very easily smooth, almost oily mouthfeel. A finely brewed, very classic czech pilsner. Highly enjoyable. I was perhaps expecting more intensity.
3.6 Tap at MBCC2022, Copenhagen. Color is clear golden with small white head. Grain, hops and malts.
4.0 Great czech pils.bitter,smooth,wov Tap@Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen(MBCC)
4.3 Tap. Rather clear golden color with white head. Aroma is mild butter, cereals, grassy hops. Taste is super smooth cereals, butter, some yeastiness, clean overall, good bitter finish. Soft oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Wow, this is excellent!
3.7 Tasting at Ryan's, can Hazy blond colour, large read. Nice aroma of hay, mildly grassy hops, swamp. It seems very dry; getting mild biscuity vibes from the malt, but this is mainly a bitter bomb, it's aggressive, a bit herbaceous. It's unbalanced, but I'd take this when it's hot weather.
3.0 500ml can @ Ryan's. Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Nose is grassy, grainy, and cereal malts. Flavour is that’s very crisp, sharp, and bitter. Light bodied, good carbonation, and a light sweetness with a moderate bitterness. Too bitter for my palate.
3.4 500ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: a bit hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma: malty with a regular European lager hops profile. Taste: malty, hoppy, crispy, bitter. Overall: good for a lager.
3.8 Poured from 500mL can (bb 14.08.2022). Clear gold with white head. Grassy hops and cereal malt, very balanced.
3.8 Pale gold. Thin head. On the nose, it's got a nice herbaceous hop note, and a kiss of malt. Clean, balanced, medium bitterness, nice saaz, full pale malt with a light bready note. That off-dry finish is great, too.
3.5 Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Can looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts mild, grasy-hoppy, some spicy notes. Mild bitterness. Shy hints of lemon. Finish well balanced. Nice!
3.4 Deep gold with a solid head. Aroma of grain malt. Flavour is pepper malt, full grain base, long bitter Czech finish.
4.0 500 ml can. Unclear golden with a big fluffy head. Lemon peel, orange peel, grapefruit, grassy Saaz hops, slightly buttery, biscuits, dough, hay vanilla. Dry grassy citrussy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish. Dangerously easy to drink, what a treat!
4.0 Canned on 05-10-2021. Clear golden with a large white head with fine retention, lace and regeneration. Pleasant hoppy aroma with grass and herbal hops. The flavour has grass, dried green plants, herbal hops, hay and light golden bread. Light body, mild sweet and medium bitter with lively carbonation. Dry and bitter hoppy finish.
3.2 Can 500ml (Humala, canned 05.10.21) Golden colour, small white head. Grainy, sweet malty aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp, grainy, pale, pils malty flavour. Nice, of course more watery than 12 version (12 is better).
3.7 Tap @ Pien Brewpub, Helsinki. Poured golden in color with a white head. Grainy, dusty crisp pils. Nice dry bitter bite. Excellent.
3.6 Can. Clear golden. Nose is sweetish, grass, hay, malty. Tastes medium bitter, slight drying, herbal, hay. Good.
3.3 Fat @ Himmeriget. Gyllengul öl med ett större vitt skum. Doft och smak av hö, gräs, malt, lättare citrustoner och ljust bröd.
3.5 Pretty decent malty czech pilsner like it should be even without the discetyl android rather grassy hop note.
3.3 Burk (tack, NordicV). Klar guldfärgad med ett vitt skum. Dofter av hö, vått gräs, vitt bröd. Smakinslag av hö, vitt bröd, örter, lättare citrus och gräs. Halvtorr munkänsla.
3.8 Can picked up at Væskebalancen - Valby and drunk at home - clear to lightly hazed gold with a white head. Summer holiday beer no1 - grassy bitter hoppy with a solid bready malt backing, some notes of straw, hay, crackers, light spice, medium body and carbonation, robust bitter hoppy quenching and refreshing finish. Great Pils
