Lys brun klar med høyt tykt beige skum som ligger lenge. Lukter gress, korn og noe sitrus. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Sitrusskall, brent karamell og gjær.

Bottle from systembolaget. Pours a golden colour beer with a medium head. Yeasty and malty with notes of herbs and citrus. Dry finish.

Medium bitterness.
Flaska. Blir inte riktigt klok på den här. Gillar den återhållna sötman, torrheten, örterna och den lilla fruktigheten. Men det är någonting som gör den här väldigt anonym och platt. Tyvärr.
Flaska 330 ml från Systembolaget. Bärnstensfärgad och disig med fint luftigt skum som sedan lägger sig på insidan av glaset. Fruktig doft med inslag av honung. Fruktig smak med honung, kryddor, jäst och aprikos. Trevlig beska som ligger kvar i eftersmaken.
Pours hazy amber with a nice frothy head. The aroma is interesting but vague but the taste is awful. What could be a nice beer malt-wise is toptally ruined by a vulgar after-vomit tasting hop bitterness that not only ruins the drinking pleasure of the beer but also of the beers to come. I rarely throw out beer in the zink but I made an exception for this one. And I do like a hoppy beer, but not one that destroys my tastebuds. How Systembolaget can pick out this beer out of the thousands of Belgians is beyond me? Internal sabotage probably, it's the only explanation. As for the brewers behind Viven, get your act together.

Malty, yeasty, light fruity and light grassy with hay, light to medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter.

The beer is little hazy orange to amber colored and has a large and stable white head, with good carbonation.
The aroma is light malty and fruity, with notes of yeast, grass, citrus, pears, apricots and spices.
The taste is light to medium bodied and sweet and starts with caramel, fruits, apricots and goes to medium bitter with yeast and spices.
The finish is light dry, pretty bitter and a little watery.
Bière 33 cl achetée chez Vanuxeem près de Comines. Robe dorée, reflets ambre moyen, assez trouble, mousse blanc cassé crémeuse, persistante à 3 mm. Nez qui allie notes houblonnées, maltées et épicées. En bouche, arômes maltés, attaque fraîche, belle note houblonnée, équilibrée avec des notes des sucres et de miel et une fine amertume. Une belle pale ale de soif avec du caractère. Légère, moelleuse, et à l'amertume fraîche, elle est parfaite pour l'apéritif.
Fles. Beetje gemiddeld ale, maar daarmee is nog niks verkeerd gezegd. Aangenaam van smaak en substantie; geurt zoetig, maar smaak is dat gelukkig niet. Bruist/prikkelt licht. Niet wereldschokkend, simpel wel aangenaam.

Aroma is hoppy. Taste is rather bitter for my taste. Grass and hay. A tad sweetness in the back. Very bitter.
At De Stoepa, Bruges. Pours hazy orange with a lasting, big, foamy, off-white head that leaves lacing. The aroma contains hops, grass, hay, orange, grapefruit, yeast and spices. It tastes medium to light fruity sweet and medium hoppy bitter with a dry, spicy, yeasty finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Aromatic and quenching.
ours hazy yellow colour with large foamy head. Aroma is grass, distinct goldings hops, some malts, light citrus and clove. Flavor of malts, citrus, hay, light caramel, notes of yeast and some metal at the end. Thin to medium-bodied, a bit watery and bitter palate. Quite boring.

From Car** Soignies :: Pale Ale à la Flamande >> Belle dégustation fort aromatique sur toute la longueur livrant ses arômes maltés plutôt en retrait. Son nez fleuri légèrement résineux et sec, flatte bien les narines . Attaque fort aqueuse, ronde avec de la levure. Ça surprend tous les arômes maltés qui arrivent en milieu de bouche sur des notes biscuitées, s’estompent mais sans se débiner grâce à son houblonnage aromatique insistant et sa levure fruitée à l’orange et à l’abricot qui imposent une belle tenue en bouche, vigoureuse et grasse. Assez savoureuse en fin de compte #390

33cl fles. Helder amber kleur, grofe witte schuimkraag. Aroma van karamel en kruiden. Smaak is zoet, citrus, karamel en sinaasappel. Licht lichaam, medium koolzuur. Aangenaam bier met aparte smaak combinatie.
33cl-fles in les Zytholoog in Syntra te Kortrijk. U: Wazig goudgeel-amber met lichtbeige schuimkraag. G: Karamel, brood, vanille en overrijp fruit. S: Karamelzoet, moutbitter, een tikje alcohol, boterbabelutten en overrijp fruit. Veel lichte hints van geuren en smaken maar niets uitgesproken. M: Middelmatige carbonatie en zwakke body.

Orange, cloudy, nice white creamy foam. Mild aroma of bisquit. Malt, toffee, with good hoppy aftertaste.
Bottle at home. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Aroma of malt, yeast and some herbal hop. Taste is slightly sweet to start with a gentle bitterness to follow. Nice malty base, some fruit and a dry finish. I also detect some vanilla and slight yeast in the background, with the slightest hint of funky, bitter hop. A pleasant beer, I would have another.

Pours a clear orange golden color, topped with a medum sized, frothy head, white color. Very spicy aroma with yeasty notes. A bit fruity. Coriander feel most noticeable. Mild taste. Slight bitterness with little yeastiness in the finish. A tad of spices as well with herbal aftertaste. Fairly light and nice.

Smaak is bitterig maar zeer intens op het eind.
Mondgevoel is licht maar romig met gemiddelde koolzuur.
Afdronk is bitterig.
Thuis, fles. Zoet, met zuur gist. Prikkelig mondgevoel, hoewel weinig levendig koolzuur. Geen schuim. Backlog from 2015/05/16.
