3.2 Bottle at America on Tap Light golden color with a small white head. Light bready pilsner maltiness with a hint of earth and artificial blueberry. Not horrible actually,
3.1 Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of blueberries and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of blueberries, straw, and malt, leading to a dry finish.
4.2 I really like this beer for what it is, a light blueberry flavored ale. No surprises, nice blueberry flavor, easy drinker. Good for summertime.
3.3 Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is blueberry. Flavor is blueberry with light sweet underlying malt, followed by crisp citrus. Finishing fruity blueberry.
2.9 Draught. Clear light orange in color with a mostly lasting white foamy head. Aroma of biscuit, blueberry, hay, grassy. Taste is mostly blueberries, biscuit notes. Light and refreshing. Not bad.
3.6 Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma of blueberry. Easy drinking summer beer with just the right amount of blueberry flavor.
3.1 Tap at Taphouse Grille. Mostly clear pale gold pour with a small head. Nice blueberry notes in here. Doesn’t come off as artificial or over the top. Pretty well done.
3.4 5oz on tap at Cask Republic. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Dot or two of lace. Cool blueberry flavor, and mild bready malt to the aroma. Biscuity, white bread and blueberry. I dig it. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Very solid blueberry ale.
3.3 Ok. Tastes better fresh than off of a growler. (Just like any other beer). If you can find it on tap, fresh it's definitely worth a shot.
3.1 Nice authentic blueberry aroma. Light blueberry aroma and flavor, but authentic. Light watery palate. Not a ton of body in this beer, has some nice flavors and could be a refreshing beer but light.
2.9 From the 12 fl. oz. can. Slightly cloudy straw yellow pour with a white fizzy head. Subtleties on the nose include toasted pale malts, cereal grain, grass, and just a touch of blueberry, which is enough to let you know it is there. Light and refreshing summer-like body. The taste echoes the aroma with a toasted grain and malt character and only a vague blueberry bite with a clean, crisp finish. Wachusett brews some fabulous brews but this one is not high on my list of those. Still...it is summer!
3.3 Had this one on tap. Pours a clear yellow with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is straw and blueberry. This is an easy to drink beer.
3.8 It has a pale yellow body with a slightly hazy appearance. The pour yields a tall bright white head that fades down to just a ring of bubbles. Lacing is slick and slides right down the glass. The aroma has hits you with notes of blueberry as soon as the cap is popped off. Natural blueberry, grain and some mild spicy hops are all noticeable in the nose. The flavor is a copy of the aroma. There are light blueberry notes mixed into light pale grain and biscuit malt with a touch of spicy (peppery) hops. It finishes a little tangy and with some hops bitterness and spice. The palate has a light to medium body with some active, almost fizzy carbonation.
2.6 from bottle. light in color; strong aromas of blueberries. blueberry taste is very strong. not overly sweet, but fruit flavour doesn’t taste altogether natural either. very fizzy. average fruit beer at best.
2.2 Pours very clear light gold with thick, quickly dissipating head. Very strong fruity aromas, too strong actually. Light bodied, medium carbonation. The blueberry overpowers everything, diluting the hops entirely. This is not good at all, probably going down the drain.
4.0 Many pints on tap. Looks like a normal pale lager except big difference: they put real blueberries at the bottom!. It has the normal lager taste, but the middle and end of the taste is where the blueberries come out to play. It’s surprising how much they add, honestly. Nice muted taste, not overpowering.
2.4 Meh, Tap at Bull Run restaurant, I don’t get the obsession with this weak and piddly blueberry beers, this one is too thin and weak tasting to be considered beer and I love fruit beers.
3.0 Tap at Parker Pie. Pour is golden with good lacing. Aroma is of light blueberries, a bit vegetal. Taste is fruity with blueberries of course but also bluebberry stems and leaves. Carbonation is too high, CO2 problems at PP? OK blueberry beer, I wasn’t expecting much anyway.
3.1 On tap at Parker Pie. Pours very pale blond with medium white head. Good lacing. Lots of bubbles. Aroma is of blueberries. Taste is of blueberries, citrus, fruits. Palate: Light body. High carbonation. Overall: Refreshing. Fair blueberries, but the beer a bit too much straigth-forward.
2.3 on tap at parker pie, vt. graciously shared by minderbinder, thanks bro! clear yellow pour with a small whtie cap, little retention. sweetish pale maltiness, fake blueberries, as in blueberry-flavored candies, perfumy, faint fruitiness if not only in the aroma, herbal and citrusy notes. moderate carbonation, light body, relatively dry fruity and bland herbal finish. meh.
3.0 On tap @ Parker Pie (West Glover). Shared by Minderbinder, thanks! Clear golden with a small persistent white head and some lacing. Aroma is mostly of blueberries along with light sweetness... and that’s it. Not very complex, but really fruity. Taste is also mostly of blueberries along with sweetness and light medicinal notes. Light body. A bit thin. Lively carbonation. Subpar blueberry beer. Really fruity though.
2.7 Clear golden, small white head. Aroma blueberry and grain. Light body. Crisp although weak malt flavor with sweet blueberry. Not great but drinkable and tastes pretty much as advertised without degenerating into excess sweetness.
3.0 Pours clear golden color with a moderate sized white head. Smells like a blueberry muffin. This is the best part of the beer. Tastes- As advertised. Blueberries is the main flavor and there is a hint of bready malts but subtle in comparison to the blueberry. Mouthfeel-This is my problem with this beer, great smell, decent taste, but it is for the most part kind of watery and light. Overall- Decent fruit beer. Nothing that will knock your socks off but a dect beer if you want some fruitiness and its easy to find on tap.
5.0 If you are into fruit beer as am I, and blueberry just happens to be one of your preferred flavors, this beer is bar none the best on the market. I have had many blueberry beers, and this one easily takes the cake. This has since become one of my all time favorite beers to drink. A fresh, crisp fruity flavor, not too overwhelming, but perfectly balanced, straight from the bottle. Absolutely perfect.
3.2 Crystal clear golden coloured body with a decent two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of blueberries, sugar, light malt, a hint of alcohol - and yes, tons more blueberries. Medium-bodied; Good malt flavour that shows well at first and then fades to the pungent and distinct blueberry flavour with some caster sugar, light earth, hay and a subtle alcohol taste. Aftertaste shows a lot of blueberries of course, but a good earthy malt flavour coupled with some bitterness. Overall, a decent fruit beer - showing tons of blueberries, but not in a sweet or nichey way - this worked out relatively well. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 06-July-2013 for US$1.34 sampled at home in Washington on 20-July-2013.
2.8 Bottle purchased at Vicker’s Liquors. Clear yellow in color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of blueberry extract, honey and malt. Malty flavor with light blueberry character before a thin, watery finish.
2.4 Not bad on a hot summer day nothing special though.
2.2 Clear golden pour with a foamy white head... Slight aroma of blueberry, none on the tongue though... Some hints of biscuit, otherwise relatively bland. Not much to talk about with this one.
2.8 Yeah, this tastes suspiciously of vitamins and blueberry syrup. LME, too. Thin. It’s one of those beer. Can I stop writing? Please?
