3.2From the can, the color is blonde with an orange tint and a medium thin white head, the aroma hoppy and almost orange peel, the taste is hop forward crisp solid ale, the finish is clean with lingering bitterness, the mouth feel is medium.
3.5Draft. A dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
3.4Draught. Pours a clear amber with a lasting off white foamy head. Aroma of resinous pine, grassy, citrus. Taste is of pine, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple. Smooth oily mouthfeel.
3.1From a tap in Logan airport. Pours a dark amber with an off-white head. Hoppy citrus aroma. Sour hoppy taste with a long finish. Good basic IPA.
3.0Bottle at River Rd Tavern.
Caramel malt with some faint citrus hops. Old school beer, may have been older than optimal. Meh!
2.3Ok but not great. Not even sure I would call it an IPA. More like slightly hoppy pale ale. Not much hop aroma or taste. Color and taste on the light side.
4.0Nice IPA, good floral scent with a nice golden color. Great rich IPA taste and no aftertaste, a good local IPA and I may have had it in a local tavern

Nice local ipa. Had it at RRT November 2014, I've seen it in the stores so wanted to try it out, poured from a bottle

3.8Nice IPA that is surprisingly refreshing when served ice cold. Nothing unique but a solid IPA that isn't overly hoppy or bitter.
3.5Above average. Available in cans, very convenient pool friendly beach friendly. Beer tastes best when you're on the Green Monster enjoying a Green Monster. The dude with dreads is the best vendor in Fenway park.
2.4Dark orange, almost no head. Spicy orange, honey, very mild bitterness. resinous but light bitterness a light cracker, some saltines, mango. but nothing really comes together well.
3.1Pours an amber from a bottle, a middling IPA, not bad, not awesome, I’d reach for something else I knew was better before grabbing this, but I’d grab this before grabbing something I knew I didn’t like.
3.7Can. Very robust IPA aroma and flavor. Astringent finish. Very drinkable, but relatively high ABV makes it more of a sipping beer.
3.7Bottle at home, picked up on RA Boston trip. Aroma is candied orange zest and a bit of anise. Flavor is orange, resinous hops, sweet malt underneath. Crisp finish with a short lived bitterness. Clean.
4.0I had this at The Green Dragon. Pours dark gold with a white head. Taste pine, Carmel, a bit bitter. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.
2.1Poured from bottle. Mild aroma of hops. Mild bitter taste. Pours cloudy amber. Light body. Goes down easy, but a bit grassy.
3.3Pours a hazy honey amber with a fairly thick buff head. Aroma is hoppy and malty, not strong but inviting. Flavor is quite hoppy, bitter greenwood, with malty and subtle citrus notes. Texture is rather fizzy and fairly firm. Lay out some green for this Monsta, and go Red Sox!
3.4Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange to brown color with a decent looking one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The lacing was somewhat an odd mess of sorts and mainly slides into the body.
The smell had some bitter citrus to piney hops that allowed some light malts to enter in after a bit of warming.
The taste was mainly malty sweet as it seemed to have let the hops fade into the background.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sharpness pounding my tongue into submission.
Overall, this was a worthy IPA of having again.
2.5Pours a dark orange. Smells exactly as an IPA should and has a very balanced and hoppy taste which most fans of ipa's will enjoy

This is an average beer with a kick of hops. I would pick it up again during the summer months, but it’s nothing too unique that will have me seeking it out.

3.6Draft. Pours orange with a thin white head. Nose is some grass and citrus. Taste is some kind of lime?
2.7Draft at The Grill Next Door. Light amber or copper in color with soapy head, no lace. While I’m talking about soap, it kind of has that aroma. Was this pint glass rinsed out properly? The answer is yes, it was rinsed out, that just the beer.
3.5Draft at Logan airport in Boston, MA. Pint glass. Golden amber pour with a thick white head. Good sporadic lacing. Aroma of bread, cereal, pine and must. Taste similar with light notes of pine and cereal. Bitter finish. Medium balance job. About a B- in my book.
3.7My fisrt IPA from USA....
I like it a lot when I was in Boston...
But it was 2 years ago and I was a noob....
3.512 oz. bottle. Pour is a bit hazy, amber gold, big white head and good lacing. Smell is spicy piney hops and citrus. Taste is slightly sweet with spicy hops and good bitterness. Some citrus and maltiness shines through as well. Pretty good. Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
3.8Tap pours clean clear gold with dense white foam. The aroma is crisp with a floral and herbal bitter. The flavor is rich, really a full ipa, nice earthy herbal bitter with floral light sweetness. Solid brew on tap, surprising for the low review score.

3.1Decent brew, very generic in taste, some grapefruit, orange, citrus peels, herbs.
1.8Draguht. This is a thin and relativly boring APA. I would go for Sierra or Anchor Liberty over this any day.
3.0Bottle. Pours golden yellow with lots of head. Aroma is just a bit hoppy, not a strong as you would like. Almost sweet. Taste is much of the same. Just slightly hoppy, with a bit too much sweetness.
3.7I poured a 12oz bottle into a tulip glass. It had a best by date of 3/7/14 and cost $2.79 ($0.23 per ounce).
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark gold to orange hue. Carbonation visible. Pours to a fairy large, white, frothy head which laces and retains quite well.
Smell: Strong aroma of pine needles and orange fruit.
Taste: It’s pretty obvious that Wachusett Green Monsta IPA is named after Fenway Park’s left field wall. However, if you’re going to name your beer "monster," even as a joke, you need to be more than just plain good. That’s not to say this beer is a failure, just that it doesn’t quite live up to its name. It’s a tame, drinker-friendly, well-balanced beer. Satisfying to be sure, but nothing approaching beastly.
What’s interesting about this beer is it has qualities found in East Coast, West Coast and even Midwestern IPAs due to its hop varietals. The Cascade imparts pine and resin, the Amarillo imparts citrus, and the Centennial imparts some flowers or perfume, respectfully. It’s more of a real hop flavor than raw bitterness, which is actually kind of nice. Though the malt backbone is not quite as pronounced as it seems like a generic amber or honey malt base without much sweetness. It reminds me more of a pale ale than an IPA. Though there is a strong bitterness on the finish with all pine, flowers and citrus flavors all returning at once. Drinking this beer is quite an interesting experience.
Drinkability: If you want a easily drinkable IPA, then Green Monsta is for you. The mouthfeel is not too intense and a bit on the thinner, more tepid end of the spectrum, though there is a distinct crispness to the finish. There’s little hop bitterness in the aftertaste and it’s actually refreshing for a moment while in the mouth. At 6.1% ABV, it’s quite tempting to session this beer, though I think it should be appreciated for its versatility since it works well on its own or as a meal companion.
3.9Aroma from can brings such smooth sweet and light piney pleasant notes. Flavor brings soft smooth hops on the tongue that get stronger as they lay on the tongue.
3.212oz can at Fenway. Pretty average IPA though definitely the best beer at Fenway in 2013.

12oz bottle. Not impressed with this one. Pours a light amber with very little head. Taste is watery and bland. Very average.
