Warka Strong (pre 2014)

Warka Strong (pre 2014)

Bottle and can: Filtered

It is of a beautiful dark golden colour with a deep lustre. It has the color of honey and the transparency of spring water, as well as an excellent body and taste. It is very well saturated with carbon dioxide and has a pleasant, noble hops bitter, as well as a unique malt-hops taste.

3.3 Bottle. Pours copper - thin white head. Nose has honey, barley, toast. Flavor is mildly toasted malt, some caramel, hairspray, pepper - floral aftertaste with astringency in the finish.
2.2 Piwo niesamowicie słodkie, dobre dla młodych którzy zaczynają żłopać piwsko, nic więcej.
1.5 Honey aroma. Very low carbonation, almost flat. Sweet honey taste. Lack of interesting features.
1.5 Bière trop sucré au goût de miel. Peu pétillante. Quasi aucun arrière goût. Le goût de miel supplante le reste.
2.9 Darker gold, light bubbles floating through the body with a minimal head which comes off white. It is full and creamy taste. Sticky, especially paired with sharp cheddar I can’t get enough of how complimenting the after-taste is.
1.7 50cl. Can. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma sweet, caramel, malty, some grass. Taste sweet caramel. Mouthfeel thin.
2.8 bottled; some Polish war hero on the bottle against the American revolution is this beerz main focus , the dude was born in the place of this piss ; nose is phenols .sugar .rich malts .hay . straw accents. poured out dark golden with ok foamy head. on the palate cakey textures ,with generic icing sugar with caramel tnotes..more phenols .cardboard ..finish nicer than typical strong east euro pils’ , cleaner . nicely dry ...Sorta a beer for people not sophisticated enough to like strong Belgians .Polish people and tramps .
1.8 Typical Eastern European strong lager with off-white head, deep golden blonde colour and one-dimensional aroma of sweet pale malts, corn and alcohol; taste likewise, grainy, off-putting sweet corn and lots of wry alcohol in the finish. Petrol for alcoholics, unsuitable for the craft beer afficionado.
2.6 Aroma is european malts, light caramel and slight sulphur. Taste is sweet malts with a light roastiness and pale honey notes. Appearance is a clear orange /gold body with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
3.0 Bottle from beer shop in Exeter. Deep amber gold colour. Strong malty taste. Molasses sweetness
1.7 Bottle into a glass. Deep amber pour, slight white head. Aroma is sugar, caramel, booze. Taste is sticky sweet, caramel, boozy, adjuncts. Not great. Pretty much immediate drain pour.
1.9 Can from local polish shop. Amber beer with medium head. Aroma of malts, caramel and herb. Taste is malts, herb and bread. Drinkable.
2.1 Bottled 0,50L. Orange/amber clearly color, por head duration with no bubbly aspect. Discreet caramel and malty aroma, intense alcoholic nose. Soft and warmy body, sweetish taste with overbanding slcoholic final.
2.8 Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. Pours a dark gold, sweet and syrupy. Sweet candy malt and corn dominate the aroma. Small airy head disappears almost immediately. Taste is cooked vegetables, sweet malt. Overall not bad once you get past the sweetness, not as funky/musty as some.
2.5 Polish shop in Jewish quarters of London 2014-07-13 Warka Strong 6,5 AR: bread syrup, corn AP: golden brownish clear, ofbeige head F: white sugar, syrup, bread, wee roasted malt
Pours amber with a quick disappearing head. Very mild malt flavor with a bready finish. Light hops in the finish too. Overall a really mild, low flavor beer, but not nearly as bad as others it’s compared too. It was alright.
2.3 Clear amber with small, fading foam head. Aroma is mostly barley and although the brewer states is has bitter taste, I did not notive that. High alcohol, yes. (Gdansk 201405)
2.0 50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ the Groshland supermarket, Utrecht. Clear light amber with an off-white head. Maltish alcoholic aroma and taste. slighty warming alcohol feeling. in fact, it smells and tastes like a higher ABV supermarkt lager. No hops, no depth, just sweetness and alcohol.
2.2 Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, süß. Geschmack malzig süß, getreidig, alkoholisch.
2.4 Clear amber with medium white head. Grassy, light malt, fruit, light spices and faint liquorice. Taste is sweet with bitter finish. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. OK.
2.3 Amber color , mid-sized white head. Sweet aroma of malt and grain with hint of hay. Taste is malty with light hops notes. Sweetness and bread in aftertaste.
1.9 Canned 500 ml in Poznan. Dark golden color, small white head. Malty aroma and sweet malty flavor. Not exactly my favorite.
2.4 clear brew with light amber colour and medium carbonation. Muted aroma but there is all that grain and dried hay notes with syropy sweetness. I found this brew stickier and sweeter than expected and that makes this one better than expected, I guess, but pretty terrible brew overall.
2.3 Poured at a good temperature with a large, foamy, off-white head that soon settled down to a scummy islandand ring. Color is a clear medium honey amber with a lot of large bubble trails. Aroma is coincidently of malt, honey, hop. Flavor is mainly two parts: sweet and carbonic tang with a little bitter in back. If it weren’t for the pronounced carbonation, it would be about undrinkable. Even so.... Body is ok, while carbonation seems forced. Finish is like flavor, has significant alcohol warmth, and is totally forgettable. A fairly shallow brew. Not for repetition.
2.0 bottle 50 cl as in picture pours rather clear blonde, almost no foam no real smell low carbo . honey and grains. very much not my thing . bit dry, sweet. like honey-ish cornflakes, in a fluid and bad way . na-a , please , no more !
2.1 bottle. Amber gold colour, small head. Malty and sweet, little hops of note. Meh.
2.1 Clear, golden color. Average frothy head. Aroma is lightly malty. Medium sweet. Alcoholic and little bitter finish
2.0 Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear copper with not much head. Aroma is boozy, malty, caramel and some vanilla. Pretty sweet and not much bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation.
2.5 50cl bottle shared with brewing buddies. Thin white head. Clear golden pour. A sugar bomb. Way too sweet. Not great.
