1.6 Frohe Weihnachten! Achso Moment es ist ja Ende Juli, danke fürs Mitbringsel. Würzig malzig laff und langweilig, wer hätte das gedacht...
1.6 0,33l Flasche. Ato warum? Rotes klares Bier, dünner Schaum. Muffiger Geruch. Malz. Kastanie und Malz Geschmack. Viel Karamell. Brauche ich nicht.
3.2 Great looking crystal clear ruby dark-copper colour with off-white head; falling down rather easily though. Aroma starts promising: roasted malts, caramel, with a bit of dark fruits and wintery spices; but later hardly anything is left, maybe except for some malts. Taste is medium sweet with soft-bitter spices. Rather strong carbo. Although irregular for a German beer, it's still not a particularly interesting brew. The first time I even had problems finishing it...; luckily the second time it fell better. (Combined rates on 09/07/20 and 21/02/22)
2.5 Albert kleurig bier met zeer beperkte witte schuimkraag. Zeer vlak van smaak.
2.6 50 cl bottle poured in to a Dimpled mug. Clear, amber colour with a fast fading thin white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, bread, grasses and herbal hoppy notes. Taste is light sweet. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish with bread and grassy hoppy notes. Fair.
2.8 Im Flieger (Lufthansa). Klares, dunkles Bier mit viel Kohlensäure. Aroma: Geröstetes Malz, Karamell, Geschmack: Malzsüsse, Getreide, Karamell. Bitteres Finish
2.7 Golden amber with a quickly fading white head. Soft aroma of spices like ginger, breadcrust, honey. Medium bitter sweet. Just under medium bodied and average carbonation. Could've used a bit more body and alcohol. Still not a bad beer.
3.3 Creamy off white head stayed on translucent copper coloured still body. Malt, spices & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, a slight tickle on the front followed by a creamy back & clean aft. Heavy malt, demerara, Christmas spices, berry, red berry & caramel tastes with lightly hopped finish.
3.4 From a bottle to a glass. Pours a clear dark copper red color with a medium creamy head. Aroma is some sweet Malts and some dark fruit notes, dates, figs, slight molasses, Taste follows the aroma well with a medium mouthfeel. A bit on the watery side on the sip.
2.8 Tap at james hetfeeld's, paris. Clear to cloudy amber small offwhite head. Aroma is caramelly, sweet malty, flavor is dark caramel, malts, faint flowery note. Tastes a bit like a weizenbock win not much wheat.
3.0 Clear brown colour with lasting stable head. Aroma and flavour have light caramel sweetness. Decent body and reasonably flavoursome. Similar profile to many 'Speciale Belge' beers.
3.1 33cl bottle from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Nethelands. F: big, tan, good retention. C: coppery, clear. A: malty, some caramel, bready, bit vaguely fruity. T: malty, simple caramel, some fruity and bready notes, bit metallic, medium body and carbonation, not bad, almost enjoyed for the style.
2.8 33cl bottle at home. Appearance: amber to caramel brown with medium sized off-white head. Aroma: sweet malts, some caramel and metal. Taste: medium sweetness and bitterness. Notes of malts, some candied sugar/caramel, slightly metallic. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and medium carbonation. Overall: what a bland beer this is. expected a more intense and spiced taste.

2.3 Backlog 26-12-2018. 33cl bottle at my parents'. Pours a slight hazy light brown colour with a small head with low retention. Aroma of malt, metal, slight spices. Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter with a soft dry finish. Notes of pale malt, metal, slight spices. Texture is watery, light bodied with low carbonation
3.2 330 ml bottle. Clear brown color with white head. Smells caramel and some yeast. Taste are caramel sweetness with some bit sour yeast and little dark brown sugar. Aftertaste are average time caramel and some dry finish . Taste lager
Proefglas/Origineel glas
3.0 Bought as Warsteiner winter bottle at Albert Heijn Gorinchem, The Netherlands. The beer is copper red / dark amber colored and has a small little unstable cream foam, with average carbonation. The aroma is very malty, with notes of caramel, bread, grains, yeast, dried fruits, little notes of fresh hops with citrus and spices. The taste is light to medium bodied and sweet with caramel, dried fruits and goes to light bitter with fresh hop notes and spices. The finish is light dry, bitter and a little watery with some long staying honey notes.
3.9 Een vriendschappelijk biertje. Lekker afdronk, mooi van kleur. Valt niet tegen.
1.5 Quite Some water in the taste. Not interesting. Low to no foam brown redish colour matching the christmas tree.
3.2 Bottled 330ml. -from Kaufland Bamberg. Clear and shiny amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel, nutty and light herbal with sweet dry dusty finish. Rather average.
3.7 Pours dark amber with a white head. Strong aroma of malt and spices. Tastes has influences of german beer, apple, definite sense of being aged with wood. Palate includes oak, malt and a sweetness on the nose that is very difficult to describe. Really good beer, palate is extremely complex and a wonderful experience to sift through.
2.8 Bottle. Amber color, slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: sweet, malt, caramel, candy, a little dried fruit, apple seeds, light spice. Taste: sweetish caramel, light spices, slightly dried fruits and light bitterness.
2.7 Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, hops, malt and has a light bitter and sweet finish. Medium carbonation.
3.1 Fles, onder de naam Winter. Mooi diepgouden bier, gelige schuimkraag. Vol van smaak, scherp; je proeft een soort winterse kruiden (die er vermoedelijk niet in zitten).
3.3 Fles 50cl thuis. Hop (hallertauer tradition), caramel, zoetig, rood fruit. (7-2017).
2.5 Bottle. Bb 2016. Pours deep clear amber with a White head. Aroma of Earth, malts, nutty, caramel. Taste is rather sweet, earth, caramel. Light bitter finish.
3.2 Bottle Appearance: awesomely big, white head, copper and clear Aroma: sweet, malty and bready like with some notes of hops (grassy and herbal) Taste: exactly the same as in the aroma + rather low bitterness
