3.4 Bottle from Snowbird. Nice amber body with medium head. Nose is hoppy, fruits and grapefruit. Taste of floral, oranges and lots of fruits. Crisp texture. Good thing.
3.7 On tap at the Monte Carlo Pub (Las Vegas, NV). Slightly hazy, blond body with a good, lasting, white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with coriander and citrusy hints. Its well balanced hoppy taste carries herbal, citrusy, and malty notes. Ends with a sharp bitter finish. Well done.
3.6 12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a large with head that lasts. Taste is of wheat, malt, spice, pine, resin and coriander. Hop and wheat nose. Has a medium body with a slight dry and bitter finish. Overall, an excellent white IPA.
3.5 12oz bottle - Pours a cloudy light yellow with white head. Good smell - floral, lemon, green tea, grassy notes. Hoppier than I expected. Decent smack of citrus, but smooth, ala a wit. Herb-like.
3.8 White IPA. うまくできた白IPA、スッキリした飲み口にホッピーさもあり
2.6 This is a tough one to judge. Not getting a lot out of the nose. Pours a hazy, very light straw with decent lacing. A bit of hops, light citrus, and a hint of something else. Assuming coriander, but if it wasn’t listed on the crowler, I doubt I would have known. There is not much to this, and unfortunately I am paring it with a thai pizza that overwhelms the tastes of this beer.
3.1 Light, not too much flavor. Cloudy in color. Small head.. After taste mild as well
3.8 This is a little different. I would characterize it as a helles hopped up like an IPA. The aroma is rich and piney. The body is light and crisp. Their is a strong citrus note that tastes like pineapple to me. The finish is pleasantly long. Very refreshing and enjoyable.
3.6 Hazy yellow pour, big white head. Aroma is very herbal, some green tea, soft minerals and some citrus. Thin mouth feel, soft carb. Clean bitter finish. Light biscuity malts, citrus zest.
3.3 Body looks like a witbier. Cloudy golden body with a minimal white head. Nose is honey, lemongrass, citrus, orange peel. Flavor is more of the same. Hops more pronounced in the flavor. Decent but not my bag of tea.
2.8 Hazy light tan. Frothy head. Orange juice aroma. A bit doughy, spicy, touch of diacetyl in the finish.
3.7 Een echt leuke IPA, zeer goede smaak en cool logo. Licht van kleur en goede schuimkraag.
4.0 Ghostrider was one of those purchases I made solely because I thought it had a cool name and great artwork (although the name made me think of the shitty Nicolas Cage movies). Luckily Ghostrider proved to be worthwhile for more reasons than its awesome bottle... and much more enjoyable than the movies. Pale yellow body and white foam. Aroma has coriander, yeast, bready malt, and citrusy hops. Flavor follows the nose. Taste is a nice mix of spicy and sweet with a clean finish but minimal hop bitterness. Ghostrider definitely leans more toward white ale than IPA. In this case, I’m definitely okay with that.
3.1 Starts out a little bitter but smooths out after a bit not to hoppy easy to drink.
3.3 24 days before the best by date, starting to show a little age. I really had to work for any kind of nose. Eventually there’s some nice citrus and even lighter spice. The feel is light. The flavor tangy citrus. Still light with just a hint of cardboard underneath. Opens up a little..
3.8 Sampled at Northgate Andover beer tasting. Crisp with lemon and wheat. Very smooth and drinkable. Worth buying to get more in-depth.
3.6 Can @ Wasatch Sugarhouse. Clear yellow pour with foam. Nice citrusy hop aroma. Plenty of floral hops and some good orange rind. A bit of bready malts and some mild lemon. Pretty nice fragrance. A little on the grassy side on the finish, but overall a nice beer.
3.7 A tasty white IPA. Golden and hazy with a soapy white head. Malted wheat dominates the aroma and it has a nice light lemony flavor.
3.6 Pours a hazy pale yellow color with off-white head. Pine and citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with hop bitterness and wheat.
3.5 pours a murky straw yellow with a medium bubbly white head. aroma is light hay and light spice. smooth creamy mouth feel. taste is light hop bitter, faint citrus, with a hint of spice. mild bitter linger. Refreshing and delicious!
3.3 Six pack of cans from Muckey’s. Pours out a cloudy greenish-golden color with a huge egg white head. Light citrus-wheat aromas and flavor with a hint of herbal spice. Low bitterness. Quite refreshing.
3.8 Aroma: citrus, coriander, belgian notes. Appearance: hazy straw color, really good lasting white head. Taste: medium bitterness, citrus notes, coriander, zesty, quite dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, citrus finish. Overall: Really good combination of wit bier and IPA, drinkable and zesty.
3.6 Bottle. Pours with the hazy, pale yellow hue you’d expect, nice pillow of white foam. Drinks with a nice, light appeal, citrus peel and a hint of herbal spice. (#6004, 7/18/2015)
2.1 Light orange foggy pour, giant 3 finger white head. No real aroma, upfront citrus hop taste with a bitter finish. Body is very light for 6%. Might be good with a different hops variety.
3.6 12 oz. can. Hazy pale golden with a film of bubbles. Aroma of pineapple, toast, honey and evergreen resin. Flavors of pineapple, lemon-lime, green herb, resin and coriander. Body is to the light side, has medium carbonation and a nice balance.
3.1 On Tap another cloudy pale yellow beer from Wasatch. Big fluffy white head. Nice fresh juicy citrusy hop aroma. More mainstream piney bitter flavor. Light bodied and refreshing.
3.7 bottle. Pouredb cloudy straw coloured with a rocky white head. Citrusy aroma with herbal hops. Medium body with a crisp refreshing mouthfeel. Flavours of grapefruit citrus, herbal hops with a spicy bite and a touch sour.
4.0 Great IPA. Really enjoyed this. Aroma not real complex, but doesn't matter because once you start drinking it, really good.
3.6 Bottle from Springdale UT pour light yellow with moderate white head. Nose lemony citrus, lemon grass, coriander, white pepper. Taste initial some grassy, then lemon, followed by sweet malt. Late palate light bitter. Grassy continues through the finish.
3.5 12 oz bottle. Pours hazy bright yellow with a medium rocky white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing. The aroma is sweet perfumey spices and fruit. The flavor is sweet bready malt with a lot of citric fruit and spicy floral hops with decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, a decent fruity spiced IPA.
