3.6A bottle at the Cafe Bastille near Taipower Building subway; this one at 4.8%. Aroma: candied orange peel. Appearance: clear, light amber, practically no head. Palate: light-bodied and rather thin, soft carbonation; refreshing, well-balanced, predominantly sweet finish. Taste: medium-sweet, more citrus, a hint of lemon. Pretty good.
2.7bottled as Watou Witbier at 4.8% ABV. cloudy golden liquid. moderate white head. aroma: you usual citrus fruit and coriander, just some off-notes from fermentation. the taste is pretty the same. medium dry. low bitterness. mediocre one.
3.0Botella 20 cl en el Kraken 29..12..2017. Color amarillento pajizo velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores suaves frescos cereales y maltas con suaves tonos cítricos y algo herbaceo. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber. Normal.
2.8Bottle at home. Clear straw colour, foamy white head. Soapy, grainy, creamy malts; no real banana, citrus notes that I like in a wit. Light bodied, low carbo.
2.9Bottle from Belgibeer. Lemon gold with a thin head. Aroma of corriander and citrus. Flavour is a little wheat, citrus grain, corriander on a light dry grain finish.

Spigolosa poco calda decisamente carbonata poco corposa. Non equilibrata solo parzialmente armonica.
2.8Bottle at Bierbrasserie Cambrinus. Hazy golden with small-medium white head. Aroma is coriander, medium body, medium carbonation, and thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is grains, coriander, and esters.
3.5A: Slightly cloudy straw with a big white head.
N: Malty sweetness with quite a fair bit of orange peel.
T: Slight pleasing acidic crispness. A bit of coriander, but it is the citrus peel that is front and center here.
P: Thin
O: Very enjoyable wit. Could probably drink a few of these in a row.
2.8Bottle, 330 ml at Poechenellekelder, Bruxelles. Pours hazy golden, medium white head. Some fruity citrus notes, bit spicy, yeast. Light bodied.
3.2Bottle. Hazy pale yellow in colour. Fruity (lemon-citrus). Spicy (coriander) and Yeasty. Soft and smooth. Tasty. Semi-sweet with mild tartness. Dryish finish. Easy drinking. (2008)
3.4Couple of small bottles at home, chilled on a hot afternoon. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin head. Slight aroma of citrus and dusty hop. Initial sweetness leads to a very gentle bitterness. Lively and spritzy, turbulent. A slightly lactic, sour edge gives this a nice sharp and refreshing finish.
3.125 cl Bottle at home. On the balcony in the sun in fact, woohoo! Hazy cool pale golden with white head and lacing. Sweet malts, grains, lot of citrus, lemon, coriander. Bit soapy, grassy, light doughy. Medium sweet, under medium bitter and light tart. Under medium body. Looks good, tastes alright.
3.1Bouteille. [notes 2006]
3.7Tap. Restobbiere, Brussels. Cloudy yellow. Dense, sticky, white head. Nice, lemony, grainy wit character. Hop spice. Taste is light, and spicy sweet. Hint of bitter. Fresh palate. Medium body. Short, dry, light bitter finish. Refreshing.
3.0F: below average, not long lasting
C: hazy yellow/golden.
A: wheat, citrusy, coriander, malt, yeast.
T: low to medium body, average/to higher carbonation, malt, wheat, coriander, banana, some decent bitter grassy tones on the palate, quite watery but for refreshing summer beer it is the advantage only.
2.7Bottle from work. I don’t really like wheat beer but this isn’t bad. Pretty thin. Not too dissimilar from Hoegarden. Goes well with food. Light, fluffy and metallic. Bubble gum and lemons. Very light in appearance and not as cloudy or sweet as most wheat beers. Less filling, so you can drink more!
3.2KØLF 150515. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, coriander, wheat. Flavour is citrus, coriander, wheat, banana, malt, yeast, orange. Medium body. OK beer.
2.5With a yeasty aroma and a light blonde colour this wit bier has lots to desire. It is quite crisp to the tongue and doesn’t linger long, but luckily summer is short in Belgium and we can get back to the hardy beers shortly.
2.925cl flesje via 8 Zaligheden, Maastricht
Alcoholpercentage van 5%
Uitgeschonken in Hoegaarden glas
Uiterlijk: goudoranje, schuimkraag trekt snel weg
3.1Bottle at Delirium Tremens, Brussels. Cloudy yellow with medium white head.Lemon taste with some sourness.
3.2Beautiful white persistent foam. This wit is inviting aroma of lime, wheat malt and other citrus. The taste is something peculiar to the type for which most wit has barely citrus like fruit flavor, featuring this wit also a delicate touch of honey and melon. Fruity overtone which imparts it with a lovely sweet filling. Incidentally it does not differ significantly from other Belgian wit, but the unexpected touch of fruit bearing it on a slightly higher level anyway. A lovely summer beer.
3.2330 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a dense off-white head. Nice, not very strong aroma of citric fruit, yeast and wheat. Flavor is nice and refreshing, Wheat, citric fruit, spices, yeast and rather light on the typical banana and coriander flavors. Medium body and OK aftertaste. A bit more citric fruity than expected, but very refreshing and pleasant.
