Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Alkoholfrei

Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Alkoholfrei

Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

3.2 Bottle. Pours hazy golden with medium head. Aroma is banana, cookies, cooked caramel, some fruits. Taste is flour, banana, sourish, some watery notes, dough. Nice beer!
2.4 Banana, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow iwth large white head. Lightly sweet banana, clove, wheat malt, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Light body. Pretty good for a NA.
2.6 Bottle shared on the train during the Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours cloudy gold with a big, fluffy white head. Holds light wheaty character, mellow sweetness, some dough. Light bodied with lively carbonation and airy texture. Lightly sweet finish, dry wimpy dough, wheat. Meh, a bit boring even for NA.
2.7 Wow thus is actually pretty decent for a 0.0 got hints of what ot wants to be
1.8 Bottle. Slightly hazy amber beer with a cream head. Light banana and light spice aroma. Light spice and light grain flavor. Medium bodied. Light spice and light grain linger with light wheat.
3.0 Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a weizenglass. Hazy medium golden colour, orange hue, tall frothy white head, dissipating slowly, good lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, light banana, cloves. Taste medium sweet and light sourish, wheat, light banana, light citrus, cloves notes, thin mouthfeel, metallic touch. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation, sweet and sourish aftertaste, mineral notes, lacks a certain zest but overall quite nice for a non-alcoholic weizen.
Water smaakt beter.
3.5 Hazy golden body with a big, frothy and persistent white head. Aroma is citric, mild estery notes. Taste is lemony, metallic, sweet. Missing all the banana mentioned by other estere, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Citric finish. Medium to full body, average to high carbonation, thin texture.
3.4 Bottle 0.5l from Albert Heijn supefmarket. 05.01.2020. Pour it hazy orange color with medium white head. Aroma light banana and crispy notes. Taste smooth light banana, clove, light sourish notes, malty, pretty good for non alcoholic beer. Really good!
3.3 Bottle from Pivný raj. Quite good and actually very good for n/a hefeweizen. Banana, clove, bit grassy. Good.
3.5 Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium to dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with light notes of banana and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Excellent NA brew...nice aroma, nice flavor balance, and clean. Blows Erdinger's version completely out of the water.
2.8 Bottle. Cloudy orange with a decent head. Aroma and taste of yeast, wheat, lemons and that artificial non-alcoholic flavor. Strong carbonation. Ok.
3.3 Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, clove, light banana notes, light to medium bitter, light sour notes. Light to medium body, thin texture, malty light bitter finish. Ok.
4.0 Hazy golden color, thick foam. Aromas of yeast, vaguely banana and some hop. Taste is very smooth refreshing, not sweet, very mildly bitter. With good carbonation. Very nice on a hot day when thirsty. Only 16 kcals per 100 grams!!
2.7 Bottle. Hasy deep golden color with a medium thick foamy white head. Mild aroma of wheat and banana. Sweet, malty taste. Thin body.
3.1 Gyllengul grumlad vätska med vitt halvfingerhögt skum. I doft framträder bryggeriets jäst. Tunn men god.
3.8 Lekkerste alcoholvrije weissen tot nu toe
2.7 Fles 50cl thuis. Karton, ergens hefetonen, licht zoeten, ergens wat banaan. Te drinken maar er mist wel iets. (13-6-2020).
2.8 Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of nutmeg and malt. Taste has watery malt with cloves, nutmeg, and banana much like a light Hefeweizen. Good for a NA.
2.7 500ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with a tall white head. Aroma is banana, wheat, and unfermented wort in the background. Taste is citrus, cardboard, some wheat, light bitterness. Watery body. Disappointing.
2.8 Divino Cellars bottle (26-Mar-20) Sweet citrus aroma. Cloudy light amber colour, good white head and suds lacing. Sweet citrus light herbal flavour. A bit thin, citrus finish and light herbal crisp aftertaste.
2.5 (Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 28.10.2020, from a supermarket, 20200317) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, sweetness, clove and metal. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were clove, metal, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was watery and bitter. A surprisingly nice low ABV beer. The yeast esthers helped.
2.6 50 cl bottle (BBD 2019-09-03), bought from Beerwulf as part of their alcohol free pack, drunk at home 2020-02-03. Appearance is a very slightly hazy deep gold with a thick, dense white head that lingers a long time. Reasonable amount of visible carbonation. Little more particulate matter than I'd expect, but I'm willing to blame that on age. Looks like a good hefeweizen to me! Aroma is okay. Little to no non-alcoholic sweetness - good. Fruity esters present, with notes of almond and clove - good. Floral/lemony hints - good. All the nice notes quite faint - bad. Taste is disappointing. A few lightly bitter citrus and honey notes up front with maybe some apple, but it quickly turns to the dreaded non-alcoholic sweetness. Leads to far too much of that sweetness on the finish, really overpowering the decent taste from before. Palate is okay. Light to medium bodied, moderate amount of in-mouth carbonation. Very clean too with a moderate length finish. Overall, this is let down massively by the taste. Everything else is actually pretty good for a non-alcoholic, but the non-alcoholic sweetness pushes its way through again to spoil another beer. Still a lot better than some though.
2.4 I was little excited to try this "Beer" because they say is one of the best "Non/Low- Alcoholic" beers out there but i disappointed in the end. Not because exist one theory that the true fans of beer ignore them or something like but because the taste is bad.. This beer smells almost the same with the original "Weissbier" but when you put it in your mouth, very strange things happened. First the beer has some weird watery and bitter taste and without getting any mouthfeel, it go down in your stomach without choose it. You cant feel some mouthfeel or something. Second it remind you some soda.. If you let the beer some minutes, remind you more and more soda with some light spicy taste.. Overall nice try but the difference with the original or with some true beer is massive.. So no thanx.. I Choose the 5.4% alcohol over soda..
2.4 From bottle in weizen glass. Pours near clear gold w/big billowing off-white head, more cloudy near the bottom. Bready aroma mixed w/citrus & spice, taste is quite zesty, a touch of pepper in the finish
2.7 12 ounce bottle A passable low alcohol release isn't going to stand out from anything with more than a percent of alcohol. This typical low alcohol release does however contain enough flavor to more than a two sip and down the drain offering. If you find a cheap bottle it might be worth a try to warm up the palate before you dive into other stuff. AROMA / APPEARANCE Banana cloves, nutty malts, and cool toast feel lean but still inviting. The bronze flat base adds little visual interest yet looks average below its creamy white head. FLAVOR / PALATE Watered down marmalade rinses the palate clean before it slowly fades into obscurity. Bubbly banana chips pairs with apple juice to leave a simulacrum of what a wheat ale might be if you thinned it down. By the end it fizzles into a dull distraction. As long as you have the appropriate expectations it delivers on its promise.
2.9 Hazy orange pour with firm head. It smells like a hefeweizen and it def taste a lot like one!
