Pacific Northwest meets Pacific Southeast as the best of American and New Zealand hops meld together with just enough malt backbone to allow them to sing. A riot of mango and passion-fruit on the nose but balanced enough to drink by the bucketful. Dive in and grab another bottle but don’t get the bends.

Ingredients:

Grains: Pale, Vienna, Munich, Cara-Pils

Hops: Citra, Pacific Gem

3.8 Bottled. A gold/amber colour with almost no head. Hazy due to pouring the yeast. Sweet, fruity nose. Definite hops but not overpowering. Lots of citrus fruit, well balanced by some dryness and bitterness. Very clean and refreshing.
3.7 Pours hazy orange, topped with a large and lasting foamy white head. Pleasant, though gentle fruity aroma with citruses, pine apple, gooseberries and some more. Slight sweetness upfront, a bit of biscuity maltiness. Medium bitterness that gents a bit more noticeable in the finish. Medium bodied. Lasting aftertaste. A nice one.

3.8 330ml bottle from brewdog Stirling Pours clear with small white head which doesn’t stick around long. Aroma of dank hop and light malt Tastes of citrus/tropical resinous and piney with a long, crisp bitter finish Carbonation light but about right for style with a almost oiley mouthfeel. Overall good hoppy pale ale for any occasion
3.1 Very light APA that has a well rounded character. Nice bitterness at the end with some piney notes. Overall a nice beer with little outstanding tastes.
3.8 Keg at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, UK. Colour is hazy orange, with a tiny white head. Aroma is lot of fruit, peach, grapefruit, tropical fruits, hops, malt. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Long fruity duration. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation.

3.4 Bottled - strong and pleasant aroma. Hops dominant - floral/spruce. Nice appearance - moderate head, golden, slightly hazy. Bitter on the taste with a slight sweetness after but a (nice) bitter finish. Pleasantly drinkable but could be slightly more strongly hopped.
3.3 September 14, 2015 at The Cock (Hackney) - cask handpull. With ChrisO and lagerloather. Clear amberish gold with pretty much zero head. Sweet and grainy/grassy aroma, with some tropical fruit. Taste - tropical APA, more grassy than west coast though -a little watery too, still, medium-quick finish. A grudging 14/20 - needs more body and bolder hopping.
3.8 On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - orange peel then going into marmalade. Taste - big orange and lime notes. Light resin. Nice lime zing on the finish. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - loads of flavour packed into this one.

3.7 Golden with a lasting white head. Big, tropical fruity hop aroma. Sweetish fruity flavour with a touch of malt and a good bitter finish.
3.3 Amber colour, small head, okaish lacing. Moderate, lasting bitterness, citrusy. Not bad.
