WeldWerks Juicy Bits

WeldWerks Juicy Bits

Our version of a New England-style IPA featuring a huge citrus and tropical fruit character from the Mosaic, Citra, and El Dorado hops, a softer, fluffier mouthfeel from the lower attenuation, and the characteristic New England hop haze. The end result is a beer reminiscent of citrus juice with extra pulp, thus the name Juicy Bits.

4.1 Can @ Home. Milky orange beer with a thick, creamy white head. Soft peach and orange on the nose and tongue. A nice tropical quality as well with some pineapple, kiwi, and mango. Hints of grapefruit peel bitterness along with a slightly sweet and definitely a touch of tang from red grapefruit. Slight earthy tone on the very finish. Good malt character without being overly sweet. Good stuff.

4.1 Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. Hazed gold. Sticky white foam. Nose has peach and ripe citrus. Fresh pine. Yay, it doesn’t smell of oats. Taste is well balanced sweet and bitter. Super clean on the palate. Fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.
4.1 The most classic of the NEIPA possible with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado hops. On the nose hoppy aromas of citrus, pineapple and mango. Very fruity. Neutral malts. Pour hazy orange, white head, medium size, creamy, beautiful lacing. Moderate bitterness (which comes up after the fruit) and balanced hop perceived sweetness. Flavours recall mango, citrus and pineapple. Medium body and carbonation, fluffy mouthfeel, some hop-purn. Very smooth. A solid example of a classic, juicy and pulpy NEIPA.

3.9 Can (7/27/21) pour from Andover Classic Wines. It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width off-white head with fair retention and nice rings of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong candied orange and lemon. Taste is strong following aroma along with grapefruit, late mild bread. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp finish as taste with mild bitterness. Overall, good strength but not very complex. Good.
