2.8 Underwhelming. Smells of toffee, tastes of meh.
3.5 330ml (5%) at home on 7 Jan 2020, present from Brendan G on 12 Jan 2018 (bb 30 Sep 2018): fruity, toffee aroma, mahogany, good bubbly fawn head, some intricate lacing, toffee, fruity, banana flavour, oily, moderate fizz, sweet malty fruity aftertaste.
4.3 Rich dark color, medium beige head. Fantastic Toffee aroma, sweet, biscuity, malty. The taste is absolutely amazing: rich, malty, sweet, just like toffee candy. Rich body, good mouthfeel, and just the right amount of bittering hops. A stunner. One of the best beers ive had.
2.8 Butelka, uwaga, 500 ml. W składzie m.in. cukier, karmel, naturalny aromat toffee. Mocne toffi i karmelki, w smaku angielskie słody były znośne. Cukierkowe, no toffiowe. Deserowe. Nie moja baja.
3.0 Saisi olla vähän vahvempi. Ihan ok
3.1 Butelka. Ciemny ,mahoniowy kolor z rubinowym refleksem. Piana beżowa, obfita, zanika szybko. Zapach mega sztuczny i mega słodki, dominuje toffi ,mleczna czekolada i kakao.
3.0 Dark color, middle foam size. Good beer, aroma and taste fit into the style.
3.3 Watching Democrat presidential debate and I’m biting my tongue and sucking the beer..... Pours a brown color. Barely any head. Aroma is sticky, bready, gooey, sweet bread. I’m thinking of monkey bread. Taste is the same. Sticky breadiness. Sweet. Toffee. More toffee. Mouthfeel is light bodied. Light, smooth, sweet. Highly drinkable, but cloying sweetness. Tastes good, but can’t do more than a couple. Overall it’s pretty good. It’s novelty. It’s tasty and sweet. A good dessert beer. I’d recommend it but would not buy it again.
3.3 Nice ale tastes just like you would expect and nice
3.7 A: Reddish brown with a medium-large off-white head. N: Sticky, runny caramel. T: Caramello bears. Malva pudding. Nice bitterness. P: Full O:Not a sessionable beer, but they have nailed down something quite special here. Absolutely captures the flavours they were going for.
Retrogosto tostado, cacau e amargo. Ótimo equilíbrio Me surpreendeu muito positivamente. Grande cerveja. Não vejo a hora de tomar outras
3.8 2016 07 01 Butelka 0,5 l.
2.7 Bottled 500ml (KSM Kampus) Dark ruby colour, small beige head. Sweet aroma has peanut butter and toffee. Light-bodied, watery. Peanut, toffee and some metal in the flavour. Quite faint body for 5% beer.
3.3 50cl bottle from Morrisons. Medium creamy beige head. Clear amber pour. A bit sweet but nice.
3.8 Aroma de caramelo, café, baunilha, açúcar queimado. Cor marron escuro. Amargor esperado de uma bitter. Viva o Reino Unido.
3.7 Medium formation foam, medium density and short duration. Dark brown colour, not cloudy but very dark that light brings ruby colours. Aroma is really surprising because it gives a real pudding sensation at first, full of toffee, bulky, a far malted end and a sweetness that turns all the aroma into something Even more real. As it gets warmer, a capuccino aroma pops out. On mouth, bulky, the toffee/pudding taste comes but less intense than aroma and without the sweetness. After that, comes a malted taste with toasted notes that brings a coffee end and a bitterness. Aftertaste is more bitter made of a mix of hops and toasted notes bitterness. It leaves a malted and pleasant end. Wells is very good at doing these innovative beers, such as this pudding and the banana one.

3.2 Nose of toffee, pours like a brown ale. It does what it says on the bottle. Toffee flavour prominent but not too much for me, enjoyed much more than I thought I would.
3.3 This was better than the banana bread, but didn't quite wow me. Pretty much a sweet brown ale with sugar and toffee flavors. Texture is a little thin. Could be balanced better. Sort of like a cross of a sweet brown ale and ESB. Glad they are distributing the 4-packs though cause these seem too pricey, especially for the pints.
5.0 Like the name says
3.9 March Madness 2019 - Yummy desert beer. Very tasty, not too sweet. A little bitter, but very enjoyable
3.0 7/3/2019. Bottle from Asda, Ipswich. Pours mid-brown with an off-white to beige head. Aroma of toffee, bread, sponge pudding, raisin, vanilla and sweet caramel. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.
3.4 0.5l bottle. Amber color with tanned head. Aroma is malty with toffee. Taste is sweet with nice caramel and toffee notes. Overall it's good beer.
3.1 500ml bottle - Pours a clear dark reddish amber colour with a small light tan head. A malty caramel aroma with a little fruit. Taste is caramel malt, some toffee and fruit flavours but also an artificial vanilla flavour that I'm not that keen on.
3.1 Chocolate and caramel aroma and flavour, a bit sickly sweet, but it does taste like a sticky toffee pudding so well done for that. A bit gimmicky really, not quite a stout not quite an ESB. Ok.
3.6 0,5l bottle from Citymarket Sello, Espoo. Clear, red brown beer with good and stable, cloudy head. Aroma has lots of toffee, vanilla, chocolate sweets and milk. Taste has toffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted coffee and malts. Low bitterness. Medium body. Delicious!
3.2 Bottle from Citymarket Kokkola. Pours dark mahogany coloured with an thick white head. Toffee, caramel, vanilla in aroma. Sticky sweet with toffee and caramel
3.5 Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced via Ocado, I believe. Pours clear chestnut with a creamy, light khaki head. Quite sweet and simple, but I actually enjoy it. It's like a session pastry stout. Plenty of liquidy caramel and toffee, some vanilla, bready malts, low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation, lightly oily. Sweet finish with subtly toasted brown bread, more lightly gooey toffee, vanilla. Enjoyable in a guilty pleasure kind of way.
