3.3 Golden with a white head - Malt aroma - Malt body with a nice hop bitternes to balance - The malt and some hops goes into the finish - This was nice
3.2 Klar brun med hvitt skum. Frisk god pils. Malt, våttt korn, krydder. Søt avslutning.
3.3 0,5l bottle from local Kaufland store, drinking it on 3/09/2021 BB 08.06.2022 Pours a clear light golden with good length (but not the longer lasting) white foam on top and pretty good lacing. Aroma of malt, hay, grains, sweetish some honey, and grassy hops not the strongest but very nice and kind of sweet - vanilla like. Taste is good sweet malts and grains, bread, honey, straw not the most bitter german pils and kind of similar to other bavarian beers but with a very pleasant taste and good if kind of moderate bitter grassy hops finish. Still nice hoppy aftertaste if again not too bitter. Light body, clean and crisp. Slightly oily texture and medium carbonation. I really like it as a sweet german pils, good quality as usual with Weltenburger Kloster.
3.2 Aroma of malt, bread, fruits and some grass. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium + bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall a decent Pilsener
3.3 This is a clean and balanced pils with a nice finish. This is definitely more in the style of a Southern German Pils. It’s softer than the more hoppy northern style. Overall, this is a really enjoyable, balanced beer with some great flavor.
3.5 0.5 bottle.
3.5 Bottle from Biermarket. Aroma is grassy noble hop, grainy malt, some straw. Hint of citrus. Flavour is light sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium body. An absolutely well-done grassy German Pilsener.
3.0 Drukket på Bergstua. Lys gyldengul. Høyt kritthvitt kremaktig skum som daler veldig sakte. Nesten klar. Aroma av gress & malt. Smaken som aromaen. Tørr. Vel søt - med ok matøl.
2.4 Golden, clear with a minimal white head. Aroma of corn, malt with hops sense. Light bitter with a soft malt and corn ending.
3.5 7-5-6-3-14 Bottle, L117, nine months before bbd. Pours clear yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is crisp, spicy hops with herbs and grass, as well as malts with white bread and honey. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is zesty, herbal hops with with grassy notes, as well as malts with cereals and honey.
3.0 500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Frau Eva. Bright late straw coloured body, steady white head, clingy lacing. Fresh pale malty nose, mid-dry. Careful, but well balanced taste of grainy malts, noble hops, and grass. Mild oily palate. Drying end with distant notes of bitterness. Clean in the mouth. Friendly partner to our pollock dish. (Tromsø 09.07.2021).
2.4 Lys gulbrun klar med hvitt skum. Lukter korn og gjær. Lett. Vannete, sitrus, noe metallisk. Kort.
3.5 500ml bottle delivered from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Light gold and clear with a slight white head. Some lemon notes, a little soap on the aroma. Taste is slightly sweet with a clean hop bitterness and balanced finish. Gentle astringent bitterness on the aftertaste. A basic pilsner very well put together.
3.7 330 ml bottle. Clear pale golden, stable fluffy head. Floral grassy notes, hay and straw, citrus, slightly metallic notes, some fruity notes (apple, pear). Medium hoppy bitterness, slightly malty sweet. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish. Really good Pilsner!
3.9 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours an almost clear light golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, straw and white bread. Taste is more of the same, a little lemon with a fresh crisp grassy bitterness on the finish. Light to medium body, fair carbonation on the palate and a very slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice thirst quenching Pils.
4.0 500ml Euro bottle from Capital Market in Salem OR $3.89 Pours the traditional bright, clear golden colour, nice sized thick frothy white head...great laceing! Delicious honey and bread aromas..seems fresh! Lovely and balanced taste..malty, honey and saaz hops..beautiful in its simplicity really. Good mouth feel also..not thin yet easy to quaff.. A really nice simple example of the brewers skill here. Delicious
3.0 Authentic
2.7 # 1159; 7/2018. Velmi kořenitý až bylinný, sladový, obilný, v dochuti mírně maltózová.
2.5 BB 06.02.2020. From a bottle poured a crystal clear golden straw colour with a huge off-white open foam head that retained very well and laced well. Carbonation high, lively and fine to medium. Aroma strongly of pale malt and musty grain. Taste is moderately strong of pale malt and musty grain with hints of spice on the after-taste; no real bitterness. Light body. Smooth and clean with a lingering malty finish with a slight tartness (not bitterness).
4.1 Clear yellow color , hoppy aroma , smooth dry bitter taste. Very good pilsner , one of the best pilsners I've had so far. Worth a try.
3.6 I have picked up this bottle from Heinrich 3000, Kornwestheim, drinking and enjoying it, during my last trip, at Munich, the last year, december 2018, in the holiday inn, Berg am Laim. In my point of view, it is a fair and decent pils, dry malt, watery, aromatic German hop, subtle bitterness. The body is yellow and clear, average carbonation, thin and white foam.
3.4 "Weltenburger Kloster Pils", Flasche per Post von Mein-Biershop.de. - Goldgelb, klar. Langer Nachtrunk. - Solide malziges, ordentlich gehopftes Pilsener süddeutscher Art. (9.7.2019.)
3.2 Dark golden to amber color, clear body, a bit of head, not too much carbonation. Aroma of malt, biscuits, some caramel, olives, green apple, plums. Refreshing taste, a bit sweet, caramel malt, yeast, cereals, some sweet fruits, honey, easy drinking. Aftertaste of sweet malt, bread, some honey, not too intense.
3.6 Bottle at grumo. Bright golden color big rocky white head, persistent. Flavors of clean malt and pilsener style hops, clean bitter taste and dry finish. Classic and clsssy pils.
3.8 0,5l Flasche. Goldgelbes Pils mit toller Schaumkrone. Malziger Geruch, schmeckt angenehm malzig und gut gehopft.
5.0 Very nice pilsner beer. Not too bitter, peefect for the hot summer months. Highly recommended
3.2 On tap at Man in the Moon. Golden with a white head. Kind of soft with grass, light hops and some bread. The finish was on the dry side.
