3.3 3/28/21 - Fayetteville, AR - Liquor World - 330 ml bottle. Sparkling, medium golden pour, nice bubble action, bubbly thin snow white head. Buttery aroma, hint of grain. Flavor has some honey sweetness, some nutty notes, some breadiness. Crisp mouthfeel.
3.0 500ml can. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is malt, wet grain, faint grassy hop. Taste is grainy, crackers, grass, light bitter finish. A bit stale.
3.7 Classic German Pilsner taste. Pours a crystal golden color with a pure white head that dissipates pretty quickly. It's smooth and clear with mostly barley notes along with just enough hop.
2.8 Advent day 1 on Aldi calendar. Clear light gold and one finger head. Nose is grains and cardboard. Tastes of wet paper, grains, lemon, sour mash some mineral qualities. Not greatest aftertaste.
3.1 Light pale yellow light head. Aromas grainy, light bubblegum, slightly spicy. Flavors grainy, slight bubblegum. Crisp, refreshing, clean, and not to light of a body. A decent pils.
2.2 Beer pours a nice gold color. The head was evident initially but rapidly diminished. Aroma was typical for a pilsner with herbal hops noted. Mouthfeel was weak in my opinion. Beer initially had some sweetness but the overall experience was weak. To me, this was a lawnmower beer. Best drunk really cold when you are really hot.
2.0 Cheap six pack from Aldi for around $6. Lots of fairly bitter hops on the tongue. Grassy, watery, nice bite from carbonation. Not great but easy to drink when I want cheap beer. As they say, quaffable.
2.4 Flasa z Nemecka. Vona slabsia chmelova sladova. Zlatista farba. Pena chvilu drzala. Chut horkasta sladova vodova.
3.0 APARÊNCIA amarelo, límpido. espuma branco de boa formação e consistência. AROMA malte, milho e leve herbal. SABOR malte, pão, metálico e leve amargor. SENSAÇÃO corpo médio-baixo e boa carbonatação.
3.1 Bottle. Light golden body. Frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, grass, light corn, light herbal hop. Lightly to moderately sweet at the start. Nice bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Quaffable, but not remarkable.
4.0 A very good bier with a flavorful head and hopsy taste.Light in color and smooth to the palate. I highly recommend this bier!
4.0 Bottle to glass. Purchased from Aldis. Think very white head with aroma of a standard pils. Very light with a slightly banana ester aftertaste. Great for hanging out by the pool or after/during mowing the lawn!
4.0 Good tasting Pilsner
2.3 I don't like its taste, when they try to make such a fresh beer they mostly fail. Won't buy it again.
3.5 Purchased a six pack of bottles from an Aldis. Thick white head on top of it clear yellow body. It has a strong aroma but I'm not placing the Hops, it's more like it's coming from the malts. It starts a little sweet but then it kind of goes near pale ale territory. Especially on palate and finish. Their parts are like of this beer and their parts I don't like. Maybe this style isn't for me
2.2 Lots of bread and cracker on the nose. Pale gold color with a white head. Sweet up front. Metallic with lots of bready character. Bitterness is metallic with some pepper. Finish is a bit off. Poor representation of the style.
2.4 Canned. Pale yellow colour with small, stable white head. Nice grassy, flowery hop scents with light malty aromas. Bittersweet taste, a bit watery and grassy aftertaste. Light body, fizzy carbonation, dry fiinish with low bitterness. Above average industrial german pilsner, but no remarkable features.
3.5 Szénsavas aranybarna szín. Kellemes és harmonikus komló íz.
3.0 Typical German-tasting lager/pilsner. Nothing special, but a good beer. As opposed to having a lame American pale lager. Prost!
4.7 Beste bier van Vogtland
2.8 Typical German pilsner aroma. Light taste, some German hops in the finish. You have to really be into the style to enjoy this one.
2.0 Edwin Z. Wernesgrüner Brauerei by Wernesgrüner Pils Edwin Z. is drinking a Wernesgrüner Pils by Wernesgrüner Brauerei Veel co2, erg grassige bitterheid, moutig, clean maar ben er niet weg van.
4.1 Poured from 330ml bottle into pint glass. A 2" white head drops slowly with plenty of lacing. Color is clear light gold with abundant carbonation. Aroma of fresh bread dough and grassy hops. Mouthfeel light to medium with a pleasant drying finish. Flavors of cracker, toast, sharp and lingering grassy/herbal hops. Overall: very good at a pleasant price.
4.7 Wernesgrüner Pils has a very thick, off-white head, a clear, straw appearance, with white sediment chunks, lots of bubbles, and prominent lacing. The aroma is of cracker and white bread crust. Taste is similar, with grass and bold bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Wernesgrüner Pils finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT
3.4 0.5 liter bottle. Got it from someone who was on holiday in the south of Germany. Nice pilsener! Full of flavor and body.
2.9 Golden color, well-carbonated, a little bit fruity, hoppy but mostly matly aroma. Aftertaste is malty-watery and mildly bitter. My problem: canned version is sometimes smelly. And taste is strange also, like it was expired. But I will rate the beer's best condition.
3.3 Clear golden pour, no head, malty, vegetable aroma. Flavor is hay, dough and toasted bread. Quick finish. Pretty much textbook German pils.
2.4 Unimpressed. Somehow dull, I did not enjoy neither body, nor bitterness or aroma.
3.1 A good clean middle of road pils for everyday drink by pool or dinner. At $7 at Aldis it is a good deal. I am Houston TX. The location does not allow a Houston Aldi location. Rather pointless.
