3.6Salty, very salty. I like. Nice Lomé flavor. Although fruit flavored more in style of original goose recipes. Well done.
3.5(all gose (fait peur) bien citronnée (~grince-dents), toujours pas mon style ni mon kif, mais bien branlé ici)
3.5Can from Maltitude in Columbus Georgia. Pours a hazy gold color with no head. The aroma is lightly sour with salinity but no noticeable key lime. The flavor brings in more sourness with some key lime notes. Pretty nice.
3.7Draught at Dispensary. Unclear golden colour without a head. Tart fruity aroma with lemons, pecans and salty notes. Taste is light sour. Light to medium body. Drying tart fruity finish. Very nice.
4.012oz can. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a small off white layer of foam that fades away quickly. The aroma shows notes of tart lemons, key lime, salt, and crisp wheat to go with lactic sourness and a touch of vanila. The flavor follow suit with tart lemons and key limes rights up front to go with the crisp wheat and pale malts with moderate lactic tartness, saltiness, and a touch of vanilla on the back end. Light bodied and easy to drink with balanced carbonation that leads to a slightly salty and tart key lime finish. Really damn good Gose with the right amount of salt and tons of key lime flavor.
4.7Bright yellow colour with very little of head. Aroma has distinct Lime zest note together with cookie crumble malty feel and lactose. Sour too. Taste is very tart, lime zest definitely, sour and same cookie crumble and lactose feel. Medium to light body with very fizzy high carbonation. Definitely a dessert beer but a damn good one.
Mango, Zitrus.
Spritzig, erfrischend.
4.0355ml can. Hazy golden with a small white head dissipating quickly. Aroma of fresh zesty limes. Taste of juicy tart sharp limes, zesty, salty, sour, sweet sherbet, tangy. Light body, moderate carbonation. Very nice and refreshing.
3.5Can from Just In Beer, Groningen. Strong lemon & lime aroma with zesty lemon peel, key lime pie, light spicy with cinnamon. Flavour is tart and medium sour, light on the salt. Body is light. Bit too heavy on the lime for my taste, but certainly refreshing and super drinkable.
3.9Can. Lime and lime zest aromas. Hazy gold, little head. Lime flavor. tart and sourish and salty, lightly funky, some lactose. Thin body with fair astringency and fine carbonation. Can almost smell and feel and hear the salt streaming through this one.
3.8Can:
Hazy, light yellow with a tall, off-white head.
Wheat, salt, lime scent.
Taste is tart and salty lime, wheat malt.
Really nice....great body and a rich flavour.
4.0Very light straw clear pour. Aroma is musty sour. Taste is sweet and sour citrus. Key lime is obvious. Like it.
4.5I found this beer on Tavour and it was delivered in can form. Overall I really enjoyed this beer. Full disclosure, the gose style beers I've tried in the past haven't been my favorite but I gave this one a try due to my affinity for key lime pie. This beer had a wonderful bright aroma, full of lime zest, citrus, and tart lactobacillus notes. The flavor of the was very tart compared to other American sours/gose that I've tried, but not overwhelming so. Once again lime juice and lime zest stood in the foreground and was accountable for some of the tartness, next a slight funkiness was noted from the lactobacillus, and finally the salt came forward to round out the flavor of the beer for me (salt was noted, but not overpowering). This beer had a crisp dry mouthfeel and nice bright carbonation which helped deliver the tart flavor across the palate. Each sip left me wanting more, and opened my mind to giving gose another chance.
3.9Very citrusy, strong lime zest flavour. The sourness balances out with sweetness when warmer. The name definitely meets the taste
3.3Can from Sam's Quik Shop. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is juicy lime. Flavor is tart lime juice, grasses. Not getting the pie flavor... err, wait. Maybe a hint of vanilla and crust in the back end. More juicy than pie-y.
3.812 oz single can from Two Angels Liquors. Clear golden appearance with a fluffy white head. Aroma of lime zest, lacto funk, light herbal notes, light vanilla and a touch of minerality Similar flavor, tart and zesty with mild acidity and light sweetness. Light body with a crisp feel and a refreshing finish. Nice.
3.7Good overall. TART but not overwhelming. Key lime is evident in nose more than taste. ABV is low for a beer you won't drink a lot of typically. More of a dessert beer and should have ABV to reflect that. But otherwise distinct and something I would drink somewhat regularly.
4.3Great key lime flavor. Nicely tart. Not heavy enough for pie, but solid.
3.6Can pour. Cloudy lime juice color. Aroma is lime juice, zest and oil. First sip is tart and very lime citrus forward. That fades quickly to notes of wheat and a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. Nailed the key lime gose.
4.1Can, 33cl, bought @ Mikkeller Webshop. Pours murky yellow with a small, fizzy white head that soon disappears. Aroma has lots of lime, citrus, peel, tartness. Very fresh. Medium carbonation, fine light and somewhat oily mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely, zesty and tart lime, minimal bitterness, some salty notes. So fresh, extremely drinkable. Lovely really. Simple, enjoyable, sessionable. More!
3.8Drank in the can, side by side with the standard WB Gose. This key lime gose surprisingly is a little more floral from what seems like more coriander. Light to moderate tartness. Quaffable and refreshing but the increased floral element of this one compared to WB Gose makes me lean towards the unfruited version. Pretty good.
3.9Easily could have been the best gose I have ever drank. Great lime flavor. Really good on the beach.
3.7Can. Lime, graham cracker malt, salt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet-tart lime, graham cracker malt, mild salt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Nice - primarily lime.
3.6Delicious and a great beer after being trapped in the hot car and the hot outdoors. Nice notes of the pie, works well along with the traditional gose notes. Appearance is nothing to right home about blend and fizzless, otherwise great stuff.
3.0No cóż, z limonką to Ja się raczej nie polubię już w ogóle. Fajnie kwaśnawe w smaku, jednak limonka która tutaj przykrywa wszystko męczy. Jednowymiarowe. Trochę soli i kwasku z cytryny. Ok, ale nie dla mnie.
4.2Crystal clear golden coloured body with a larger, three centimetre tall pure white, fluffy head that fades to a single centimetre a few minutes later. Aroma of limes (of course), light biscuity malt, some dry grass, a touch of caster sugar, some lactose sweetness and another heavy dose of pure key lime pie - strong and sweet in the nose. Light-bodied; Super tart and acidic lime flavours of zest, essence and pure lime juice noticeable at the front with a dry , herbal character right behind. Some moderate lactose and milky sweetness right behind with a dose of dry grass and herbs at the finish with a touch of tart, almost purely soured flavours that show up with a touch of brine at the very end. Aftertaste is nice and crisp with the lime and sweetness right at the front with a dry, airy finish showing some pie and tart flavours, but very mellow, dry and easy-drinking - perfect for warm summer nights after finishing a run! Overall, a nice option and I wish I were able to get this regularly - if so, i'd probably keep a bunch around, especially in the summer! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Grape Vine in Fort Mill, South Carolina on 21-August-2017 for US$2,55 a few hours after watching the Eclipse, sampled at home in Washington on 13-July-2018.
2.8Tap on site in mount pleasant, SC. Had high expectations. Based on the other reviews I think I may have ran into a bad tap line. Ran metallic aftertaste. Couldn't taste the key lime.
3.8Tap at kudus in Charleston. Light hazy yellow orange with small white head. Aggressive lime sour aroma, but not too much. Taste is sour, really is reminiscint of key lime pie. Very refreshing and interesting.
4.1Citrusy and sour aroma. First taste is sour followed by tart lime and slightly sweet cream or vanilla finish. Maybe a hint of graham cracker?Excellent.
3.7Draft to pint at Appalachian Vintner. Looks good; a cloudy golden orange with fluffy white head. Smells lime-forward followed by notes of biscuit and a bit of graham cracker. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly acidic. Tasty.
