3.7 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with a pretty thick brown head that dissipates quickly. Big scents of chocolate and raisins. Coffee chocolate and alcohol tastes that balance well. A sticky mouthfeel, mildly fizzy and a short finish that has a dry chalkiness that is quite nice. A formidable stout with nothing tiny about it.
4.0 Nice smooth and creamy. Some chocolate, some but, some vanilla. All around goodness.
3.5 Pours Black with minimal head. Nose has hints of coffee, but is actually a little subtle. Taste is really heavy on black licorice, with some coffee and malt. It’s solid - but would not say it is elite.
3.8 Through a strategically high and well-aimed pour, you can coax a Guinness-like cloud bank atop Tiny. It dissipates quickly with a near-Alka Selzer volume of carbonated bubbles bursting (and you can hear them like A S too!). Once settled down, Tiny delivers as advertised. Called a "Belgian-style imperial stout," the aroma is a yeasty chocolate (really? I have to go back and read that again and smell that again). Taste is totally sweet with a dark chocolate bitter bite at the end. Very different.
3.7 Pours thick black with a ultra-thin, dark tan head. Aroma is peat, roast and light molasses. Taste is dark chocolate and light nuttiness, moving to heavy earthy tones and strong roast, with a hint of coffee. Finish carries heavy roast. A very good stout.
3.0 Bottle. Deep dark brown. This beer has an awful amount of fancy, "expensive" packaging for such an average tasting stout.
Likier czekoladowy, czekolada mleczna i gorzka, kakaowe praliny, sporo suszonej śliwki w czekoladzie. 8/4/7/4/15
3.7 Black with tan head. Malt, chocolate, dark fruits in the aroma. Full body, with some liquor in the taste. Good
3.7 Licorice, grape, tart, sherry / rum with a medium dry vector. Very nice. alco hidden well. reminds me kind of an american Ardenne but I may be tripping
4.1 Colore nero, schiuma marrone media poco persistente. Aromi di caffè e liquirizia, marsala. All'assaggio predominanza di liquirizia , sentori di banana e cioccolato. Corpo vellutato quasi oleoso finale secco leggermente amaro.
4.0 Draft in a tulip glass at the brewery, inky black. Roasted grain aroma and licorice taste, with nice bitter malt finish. Enjoyable impy.
3.7 Rami Rami is drinking a Tiny by Weyerbacher Brewing Company at Muzeum Azji i Pacyfiku Bardzo fajny, slodki, polpelny, czekoladowy, owocowy, waniliowy (?!?), nieco palony, spoko cialo, pasuje mi mimo jakichs tam mini wadek
4.2 Pours black with a tan head with an aroma of malt, cocoa and wood. Wow. That’s a strong, funky adventure. Tastes like a strong, roasty, Belgian. It has a finish of clove and booze. It’s medium to full bodied with little carbonation. There is also some cocoa and wood. It is vinous as well.
3.1 It could have been a great beer but it has too much alcohol. The taste is complex and very well put together but the alcohol is always present and it just takes away and does not allow the rest of the beer to shine. Too bad!
3.8 Very dark brown with small tan head. Coffee/chocolate, roasted nut aroma. Full body, there is some booze but not as much as one might expect. Rich roasty malt flavors with a bit of chocolate, dark fruit, and perhaps some spice. Dry finish. Nice complex flavors and pretty drinkable for the ABV.
3.7 Surprisingly black pour, cola head. Roasted malts, dark fruit, dry for the style with a lighter body and higher carbonation than expected for 12%. Light coffee. Pretty good melding of imperial stout and Belgian yeast.
3.6 bottle. Thick and black with small head. Big, rich dark chocolate and dark fruit flavor. Very nice stout, seems like it'd do really, really well if it were BBA aged.
3.1 Pure black pour, looks like oil or soy sauce. Smells a little odd, very yeasty smell but with a bit of an off note. Beer has a very creamy, slick and milky texture, a bit odd, yeasty, strong roasted grain aftertaste. Not really a fan.
3.8 Bottle (12oz). Black with thin brown head. Strong roasted malt.. chocolate. A little sweetness. Full bodied with light carbonation. Alcohol well hidden.
3.7 750ml bottle thanks to Toby. Pours out black topped with a brown head. Nose is Chocolat coffee dark pit fruit some black licorice and some smoke. Tastes is more of the Chocolat black licorice pit fruit coffee and a nice rich end.
3.2 bottle @ Jungle Jims / Cincinnati OH --- bb 05/16/19 --- Aroma of bitter malt. Opaque brown black color, brown head that settle to a thin rim, light strips of lace. Taste is alcohol-led malt, heavy dark loam, and natural bittering that settles in at the end. This brew is mostly about alcohol, and falls into "over-the-top" range for me.
3.4 November 6, 2014 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs and mabel - 750ml bottle. Black pour, minimal brown head. Aroma of roast, alcohol - and CHEESE??? "no cheese in that taste!" - straightforward nutty/roasty coffee and alcohol impy - solid. Average body, slick, weakly carbonated, a little burnt and boozy in the finish; weird smell!
3.5 Black pour with a tan head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate, lightly roasted, soy, some darker fruit. Medium to full body, darker chocolate flavors dominate with yeast notes.
4.1 Aus der Flasche 2016-12 getrunken. Sehr gut balanciertes Imperial Stout mit schöner dunklen Schokoladennote.
4.6 Aroma, banana fig and plum no alcohol smell Appearance, jet black, motor oil no head no lacing. Taste, banana , coffee plum. Extremly good. Palate, amazing smooth and easy on the palate.. Overall, this is a great beer no sign of the ABV. Only some burn and warming afterwards. Very very smooth and pleasing .
3.5 Big mean mutha of an Imperial Stout, boozy and bitter as all hell. Was expecting something far more decadent and candy-like, what with the "Belgian-style" on the label, but this bottle’s a dry, spiky, hornet’s nest of a stout, full of roasted mocha notes and unrelenting alcohol heat. Gives up deep roasted chocolate, sure, but the espresso middle combines with slight hints of raisin and anise to keep thing from ever approaching sweet. Sticks with the bitterness--the fade steadfastly refuses to grow cloy--but the liquor burn stays too heavy on the palate. Put some age on this puppy and the results will likely be altogether different.
2.9 Data butelkowania: 12.01.2015 Data ważności: 12.01.2020 Kolor: Czarny, brak przejrzystości. Piana: Beżowa, uboga, szybko opadająca. Z wielkim sykiem opadła do zera. Zapach: Po odkorkowaniu zapachniało cukrem trzcinowym, kawą z dodatkiem mleka i słodką czekoladą. Zaraz potem do nosa dochodziły akcenty ciemnych owoców. Przede wszystkim mamy tutaj do czynienia z dużą intensywnością nut winnych. Potężna dawka ciemnych winogron, kwaskowatych wiśni i czereśni. No cóż bardzo przeciętny RIS, do wypicia i szybkiego zapomnienia...
