Clear yellow colour with a small white head. Poor retention. Aroma is corn, sweet malts and soft herbal. Taste is corn and malts.

50cl bottle at a friends place. Appearance: clear golden with medium sized white head. Aroma: pale malts, slightly hoppy, no cardboard for a change. Taste: pale malts, hint of hops. Palate: light bodied, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: okay traditional pilsener
A little bread, a little grass and nice hops. Alltogether, it's not a punishment to drink this beer
the underlying pilsner is nice, crisp, and clean. however the skuniness from the greet bottles overpowers and ruins everything, and this is a fresh bottle only a couple months old. netto dresden
Ein typisches helles Pils, ohne viele Ecken und Kanten. Keine Spezialität, aber als leichtes Abendbier oder auf Feiern ganz gut.

Grassy hops, bitterness, dryness and malt. Balanced. Quite alright.
Pours clear golden with a white head. Malty aroma with notes of citrus and herbs. Taste is bittersweet with grainy maltiness and dry herbal flavour. Lengthy and dryish finish. A nice, well-balanced and refreshing thirst quencher. (Poured from a 0,33l bottle, bb04/19)
Gute herbe Note und nicht zu aufdringlich. Der Hopfen kommt gut raus, leicht Malz und leichte, frische Würze. Insgesamt etwas langweilig auf Dauer.
Tht august. Clear golden. Pale malts. Dry malts, moderate sweet and bitter. Cardboard. Light body and soft carbonation.

On pour, get a nice golden coloured beer with a decent frothy head. Good carbonation. A decent looking beer. Good start.
Smell: typical lagery smell, light enough on the nose, but I do get sweet malts, and some piercing lemon and grainy aroma. Faint but not bad.
On taste, found it initially a little too hoppy and bitter for my liking, very creamy in the front end as well. Bit sour at the start. Not initially liking it at all.
Malty and hoppy.
Can taste the alcohol, very beery lager. Ok, taste is good, after a while I get to like it, not bad. The hoppiness settles down as you drink more of the beer, thankfully!
Has a kick. Taste has definitely grown on me, I like it.
Not smooth, but one to sip and enjoy. Not bad, tasty. Better to get a 6 pack, as its a slow burner.
A lager with a half decent taste, good not great but would do on a long slow Sunday afternoon.

Smell is spicy white pepper, pine and citrus, dust.
Taste is full bitter and astringent, dry and tart, like green grapefruit peel. Somewhat unpleasant, bit too strong.

“Wicküler Pilsener“, Flasche (50 cl) von Edeka, Berlin. - Helles Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase ruppig-scharfe Herbe vom Hopfenextrakt. - Antrunk wäßrig aber weich und blaß hellmalzig mit Plastiknoten und derb grasiger, leicht ranziger Bittere. Dezente Restsüße. Ranzig bitterer Abgang; sehr langer Nachtrunk. - Klassisches Billigpils, von Hopfenextrakt dominiert aber zur Not noch trinkbar.
Pours gold from the bottle. White frothy head. Aroma grassy with a bit of skunk. Taste is mildly bitter. Monotone. Medium body with mild carbonation. Dull.
Damp 29/4 2018. 33 cl bottle from Edeka, Damp. The Three Musketeers with their rapiers on the label. Proudly announcing that their "Pils-traditionen" goes back to 1887. Pours clear pale yellow with small white head. Settles as extremely thin and transparent layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is stale malts and rough bitterness. Sweetish. Salty and sour notes. Medium carbonation and thin and watery texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with semi dry finish. Pretty good for a cheap German beer.

Clear golden with a small white head. Grains, metal, light citrus. Watery. Light to medium bitterness, light sweetness and sourness. Lively carbonation, bitter malty finish.
Bottle, picked up in Mönchengladbach on the football trip. Very pale golden, modest head. Prominent but slightly unusual hop aroma, slightly spicy, herbal, something slightly odd. Light clean malt base, fairly dry, medium hop bitterness. I normally like the north German hop character, this one somehow lacked a bit of definition and tasted a bit not quite there.
